6:00 we can never forget Rashfords first game. They were saying it was the worst United team for decades and they still won
The current United team is 100 times worse than that team ever was, I'm 50 years old and I've never seen a United team this bad....... they are truly awful.
@gooner72 as we are similar age to me , do you remember Rob Atkinsons final season /squad which Fergie inherited? I was still at school, (mid eighties 86/87) I think. Their best 2 players were both in the 30s (Stapleton and Mcgrath). I remember friends at school who had started supporting them a few years earlier, switching to teams like Ipswich, Forest, and Villa
@gooner72 me 2 m8. Can't wait for a 8 goal payback...
True..but that Wenger team was a one way traffic and naive team...they only play one way...This current team is tactically brilliant...they can play all kinds of football and mentally is top notch
More importantly, we weren't good back then. Now we're an elite side.
We should have won the 2-3 in 2021/22 but the young boys were in awe of Ronaldo, he was really good that day finishing wise
Wtf is a 2-3?
@@kunimitsune177 use your brain, old Trafford is Man U home so there score goes first
I dont understand the basketball thing people say. Are people really saying that would rather have jorginho who isnt even faster than 90% of refs in a transition. Its also funny how jorginho also posses the same issues as partey. People tend to forget it was jorginho gifting the ball back that let ollie watkins score, in the game we lost to villa. Partey is must, not only for his passing but for his physicallity that he posses over joginho
First or second we simply have to win so not bothered which order we play to be honest.
Martin Odegaard is the player of the season
No, he isn't. The season is ~9 months, not 4 or 5. Ødegaard is player of 2024 but the season started in August 2023
Refereeing quality so poor when Arsenal play at Old Trafford
Great show as always fellas, I look forward to Thursday evenings every week, from James's Pharaoh's beard microphone to the great chats about our magnificent football club.
This will be another exciting and difficult game for Arsenal to win at Old Trafford. It will not be a walk in the park, so Arsenal must be at their best if they are to win tonight's match against an angry Manchester United. Some may or may not agree with me when I said in my previous post that we have already blown our chances of winning the Premier League this season. We blew it when we lost to Aston Villa due to a silly, unforced error. That match determined our chances of winning the EPL. We should never be in a situation where we hope Manchester City loses one of their remaining games. I can honestly say that Manchester City will not falter, and we should accept that they will be the EPL champions again this season. Arsenal has a lot to learn after failing to deliver yet again. We had the chance to win the EPL this season. I am sure Pep will be scratching his head after we lost to Aston Villa. Why did Arsenal let this happen again? Anyway, Arteta knows what to do, and I am sure he is working on regrouping the team for next season, bringing in a good goal scorer that we are lacking right now, and then strengthening the team again by letting go of all the deadwood that is not contributing to the team. I wish Arsenal all the best tonight against Manchester United. I predict a draw at the very least. Gunner for life!
“You don’t need a line breaker when man united break the lines themselves”
😂 steady on lads
Spot on
What lines
Guys think about it. Spurts have been losing (failing at winning) in games they were trying to win. What if they try to lose against City, fail at that and somehow win? Wouldn't that be a very Spurs thing to do?
City are the EPL’s very own Ben Johnson - how we need Park Jong-sei 🤨
I totally understand the trepidation going into Ole Trafford. But I feel as if our worries will be relieved once the team news comes out. If Rashford and Bruno play, I’ll feel a bit more stressed. If neither of them start or are on the bench, it’s BBQ Chicken alert with a side of Saka’s Nando’s sauce
Charles it’s good you’re nervous for the Man U match! Every time you’re feeling confident prior to a match, I don’t think we play as well 😂(I’m the same since I was also feeling a rare ray of confidence before that first Porto match we lost)
Cheers from Miami, keep up the good work!

It wouldn't surprise me if some of these young lads do go to Europe to get first team football at a young age but we should persuade them to put a buy back clause in there. If they develop well, like Bellingham did, we could get a top class young player back.
Jorgi signed a new deal just after you posted must have been gutted 😅
Keep up the good work your vids are part of my daily routine
"Oh god we forgot Rhodri" that was such a funny analogy 😅
James is right pointing to the american rookie of the year award, would be much better celebrating a breakthrough player rather than just going with the big names
Eww
I think, in terms of our young talent, we need to promote five of them and see where they go. Amario could (if he works on his game a bit) push Martinelli. Lewis Skelly could easily convert to full back (where we need cover) Biereth for Nketiah, Nwaneri for ESR or Vieria, and walters for Kiwior.
Come on Arsenal! Destroy Man U at Old Trashford.
Arsenal got a good chance to beat Man.U as we got a decent non Bias referee & VAR
Partey was absolutely awful against Bournmouth and I just don't see how he can play against United. he's just not up to speed.
Charles we are interested in Alaves goalkeeper. He is an incredible shot stopper and very good with his feet. He is the best goalkeeper this season in Laliga
This sound like click bait. I’d rather have Szchezeny. But I recon Arteta goes for the best ball playing keeper
@@jamesmassin7982 No way Szchezeny, his time has come and gone and he was difficult in his time and problematic, e.g smoking and not that disciplined
@@wrightyafc completely disagree
@@wrightyafc by the way loving the homage to Ian Wright in your name
Man Utd are sooooo bad right now, we need to go there with the most confidence we have ever had. MA should show them the Palace match, not our previous matches against them or anything else, as the Utd that played this week is the one we are facing, and they are playing like a lower 2nd division team. If we don't get 4 or 5 against them it will be down to our lack of clinical finishing, not lack of opportunities.
Arteta and moise are friends and he's retiring as a weest ham legend
YOUSSEF FOFANA FROM MONACO IS A GOOD FIT AS A NUMBER 6, FRENCH INTERNATIONAL,25 YEARS OLD,HE REMIND ME OF A YOUNG THOMAS PARTEY
For some strange reason...I prefer city playing before us...if they draw or lose...I would want that pressure...arsenal needs a big motivation against united, even if its a poor side....and I believe they'll rise above it
Re Ramsdale, if the market isn’t there we keep him. While I recognise he’s not going to be happy, he’s got to understand that any move has got to make business sense for the club as well as for him. Clubs take the piss with Arsenal on fees because there’s the sense that we’ll buy Raya & a new backup then give away Ramsdale or loan him. Keeping the players happy is a good general approach but it can’t be the only club in the bag.
Kai has improved we appreciate him for dat, however we must have an elite mindset like real and city we cannot be celebrating kai like hes won us the championships league.
Who is celebrating Kia as if he won us the Champions hips League? If you have their names and address that would be best.
Have both of you got into my stash ??
*that
LUCKY number 13!! Marco Silva onto his 13th game against Pep Guardiola ,0 wins,0 draws & 12 defeats, with 8 goals scored,
42 conceded.
Come on The Cottagers!!!!!
Never change a winning team unless we've an injury. Let's keep winning and we see 👀 what happens at the end of the season
As an Arsenal fan I have never been a fan of Kane, but I did feel sorry for him. Maybe I am not that tribal
Thank you quite a lot - will be an interesting show to see!!!
a question for the show from tomorrow:
Where do you think the future of Jorginho lies? As a coach? As a release in year? Give me your opinion haha
We don't have a striker that can score the kind of goals Joselu scored against Bayern. That's what we need in the summer. Neither Havertz nor Jesus are goal poachers yet we've had multiple situations in games where a poacher gets tap-ins.
Get Bowen in
Young player should be 21 or under, surely?
The youth team is U23 so no.
It should be no older than 23 AND no more than x appearances/minutes surely - this would encompass all 'young' players whilst ruling out someone like Saka who has >200 senior appearances.
4 of the players in Player of the Season are also in for Young Player of the Season, as if 'someone' want's to guarantee awards for those 4 players and the other 8 are only there to make the numbers up! No player should be in both awards!
What if the player of the season is 20 & in their first season?
Of course players can be in both.
Ramsdale will resurrect his career when Pickford goes down in the euros and he steps up to make an impression
Young player of the year should be under 21 and player of the year is then 21 and over.
Therefore....... Rice/Odegaard should be player of the season and Palmer should be young player of the year.
No. Some 22 year olds haven't even had their breakthrough season yet - the oldest tier of youth football is U23s, so the 'young player' award needs to reflect that.
The criteria should he a combination of age AND games played.
Bayern desrved a goal for sure, pretty bad referee work on that one
Eddie is the best
We have been breaking hoodoo's since Mikel arrived. I'm not too worried about OT. This Utd team is the worst I've seen in my 50 yrs - we *should* get the job done
Why do I get the feeling Fulham will beat City then we will lose to United ?
Massive fan of the channel Charles - but come on mate, show some optimism please. This is extremely poor.
Kai should rest and jesus should play. Timber in for tomi. And keep the rest
Hi 👋 guys 👋, I hope all is good 👋 👦 ☺️ 👍 😊 🙏. The good news is at of the Arsenal squad are fit and for that reason the Gunners should beat Manchester United. COYG to thrash Manchester United God willing. Have a great day guys 😂. Arsenal rocks 🏆 🙏 🤲 🪨 🎸 😀.
🤔🤦🏻♂️🤡☠️💩👏🏻💀🤢👎🏻🇮🇱
Like bro come on
Fulham vs city will be draw
it doesnt matter who plays for the scum, its all up to Arsenal to smash em beyond repair. We always have great teams and much better players than them, and yet somehow we manage to fold for them, i blame wenger for alot of those games, he is gone so lets go demolish the enemy of football
These people with a love affair for Jorginho are missing what Thomas brings to the table. These same people probably think that we can win the league with the Rice Jorginho and Odegaard midfield. Unbelievable!
Both offer different options, which us what MA wants
@@Iamevlhmr I think joginho is just the worst option. His best ability over Partey is just avaliablity. On the ball, he gives away just as much. Gave it away villa leading to the goal. People have gaps in their memory and narratives run loose. Jorginho is also the not the best of the two in transitions which is uniteds style. Why would you play a player who isnt quicker than the ref where the opositions main tactic is trying to get you on the counter
@abdim123
I agree except Partey does the same thing.
I mean Jorginho has played significantly more than Partey this season and look where we are in the table with 2 games left.
They're both good but distinctly flawed players. Both can be part of a league winning team if that team is good enough.
I far prefer Partey as a player but he's made of wet tissue paper so if I were choosing one it'd be Jorginho. Honestly I'd bee looking to bring in a first choice DM in the summer either way.
@@kunimitsune177 yes he has played more but to me you're not going to win a championship with the midfield I mentioned above, which includes Jorginho. We need better. A fit Partey is better. Another like him is needed.
