    Is that against code to set a 4x4 post that close to the house foundation? I know it's probably different for each state

    What state are you from? I’m in Canada and just wondering about the winters here and if this’d work with lots of snow and temperatures below -30

      New York. It get below zero here occasionally and sustained below freezing temps for weeks during winter. I have a video going over the plumbing on my channel and provisions for winterizing
