Ernesto, at 53 and never married I can relate to your story as I'm going through the same Journey these last three months. Being tested in every way, and feels like I'm going through the refining fire others probably experience within marriage. Also shown by the Holy Spirit to not lose hope, even when it looks impossible. Never before has such a Godly challenge brought me daily to my knees in fervent prayer and tears. Learning to trust God. Thank you so much dear, I'm currently 19 and I met someone at my early university stage , that's at 17. We were just friends for two good years , we shared the same values both spiritual and moral , i love to be around him and i admire him so much, his just the picture of the man i will love to spend the rest of my life. But yet I didn't want to get into any relationship despite my feelings cause I knew it was too early and i still have a journey with God and a self discovery stage. But I couldn't get off him , by 19 he shared his feelings for me which I was so overwhelmed and we started dating, though happy about our relationship when he talks about getting married the next year, i feel right inside of me it's not the time but I was scared to stop the relationship not to loose him, to cut the story short it's 1 month i ended everything, It's so painful, right inside of me i feel his the one but it's not the time. His older than me for about 8 years , and he has decided to give me time. I pray God help me keep distance and make things clearer.
I know 2 other guys who married that were suppressing their feelings for their now wives who prayed to the Lord that their significant other would reach out first. They were both fasting seperately suppressing their feelings and the woman reached out first as a confirmation the man asked for. Truly this is how we are to marry, to wait and pray for confirmations.

The story is that they were always interpreting the Lord however they wanted, wreckless asking the Lord to purge out anything thats not of Him. Everything they were able to stop thinking about / doing living a comprised life except for the girl they couldn't stop thinking about and was praying to make it go away fasting and the girl on her own was going through something and fasted and just reached out to get it off her chest to move on but when they met in person.... the rest is history. Married!!!

He is suppressing his feelings and me don’t getting the message on what to do we are doing a mess of this. I’m so desperate. We have been in no contact like 3 times for months and last time a year. He came back and stop talking after weeks. This story and your stories seem like a message/confirmation to me but I’m blocked.
If it wasn’t meant to be or if you guys didn’t have a great relationship with God knowing only He completes us satisfies us makes us whole it could’ve created an unhealthy soul tie or an idol But God always knows and wants what is best and He always has Perfect Timing 😊❤

I believe if I set aside my desires I can truly focus and hear God in stillness. Thanks for sharing, this story shows how God is never late and always on time. My pastor spoke about the timing of God. He mentioned how we believe God delayed but in reality we're behind on the process. I like the point you made about seeking counsel and I did the same with my parents. I must add, you two look alike ! lol

Wow. I honestly waited 7 years too but to me it is not painfull anymore... (I never thought i would say that) but many years have been pain in the stomach. I pray for you. I learned to live by myself and be open minded because since I lost my mother and grandparents last year i learned that life on earth one day ends...

It's crazy!
We will get engaged eventually, at God’s timing. Nothing can stop what God has promised. And if it’s God’s will for you and your fiancée to be together, your fiancée will find his way back. Blessings to you and those you love 🙏🏼
