I was at a dentist who told me that I don't need to go to a periodontist, but in one tooth I can see the bone and I think the receding needs to be treated with some kind of surgery. Notice how everytime a dentist is asked why dental care is so expensive, even with insurance, they never really admit that they choose to charge whatever they want because they know they can and instead, they always turn it back to being the insurance companies' fault for only covering around $2000 a year and they then start talking about how important oral care is to your overall physical health, etc, etc so you shouldn't complain about the high price and just "Pay Up".
Please respond. I have seen 3 periodontists, including the one you recommend in Florida. Well, the son who works with him. I have some recession, but every one says it's too minor to do anything, but the roots are definitely exposed throughout. And they are sensitive. Why do you say that needs to be treated if the roots are exposed but the perios say no treatment required. Also, on your lingual pictures, what happened to the lady with the tongue ring? The tissue on the after is very decreased in volume. Especially in the interdental aspects.
Maybe they do not recommend as there are risks to worsen your reccesion? I know that gum surgery is very delicate stuff to do and it often doesn't work in the end.
Does it fix the periodontal issue? Once there is bone loss and some lost teeth is there any chance of helping? I have seen the Lazer treatment and wonder if that is a better option.
I believe Dr. Nemeth says that the two are separate. For gum “ disease” , he suggests the LANP laser. It will essentially destroy the parasites and bacteria that are harboring in pockets and crevices causing the gum tissue to recede and therefore causing your bone density to shrink as well. IF you only have gum recession WITHOUT periodontal disease… ( think tooth grinding, tongue ring, brushing too hard) then the pinhole surgery will thicken the gum tissue allowing the root to be covered. So the primary reason for the laser is to kill the parasites and bad bacteria, allowing for healthy gingiva. AN ADDED beneficial side effect of the laser is bone density Re growth. But Dr. Nemeth has mentioned it is not 100%. Hope this helps clear up things.
Hello Doctor by any chance do you know if any doctors in the West Palm Beach area that do the Pinhole procedure? I had braces when I was younger and my gums are receding my teeth are sensitive?
This could be done for far less, just the surgical procedure probably around 1000 dollars in Scandinavia. Yes this is heavily overpriced I can't understand this at all. We do bone grafting surgeries for around 1000-1500 dollars

Can You show any examples (with X-Rays), where bone recreates after Pinhole technique, like You have repeated times shown after LANAP treatments ? It is a pitty, that the pinhole technique is hold as "secrete issue", without any real operation videos etc. published anywhere. They also need dental reform in America along with medical. No procedure should cost thousands of dollars that allow a person to maintain a standard quality of life. There are reputable dentists outside of the country. I would research thoroughly elsewhere. So sad...only for the wealthy and rich. Dr. Nemeth should just say that. Causing heart disease...need I say more.

Can you have LANAP and Pinhole surgery 2 months after? Would that affect the bone growth from LANAP?
Hello Doctor by any chance do you know if any doctors in the West Palm Beach area that do the Pinhole procedure? I had braces when I was younger and my gums are receding my teeth are sensitive?
No More Cavities Brian Cusp All the secrets. Brushing with bakiing soda stopped my gum problems.
This is really great info, as always. Love from Canada.
Thank you! Really appreciate your content.
... and also remember that Joe Nemeth is a DDS and Joe Namath is a former QB.
3:48 unless your female patient has a thick mustache, you probably have the wrong patient’s teeth😅
😂
I had to go back and look again 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I thought I was seeing things 😂
But who has 25k for this procedure?! I think I need it and just can't afford it.
This could be done for far less, just the surgical procedure probably around 1000 dollars in Scandinavia. Yes this is heavily overpriced I can't understand this at all. We do bone grafting surgeries for around 1000-1500 dollars
Nice smile Olivia 🙂
I have a question do you need a referral to come see you because I live in Michigan not that far from you and I have some receding gums
Wallet full of money and you'll be fine. also calling them is faster and you'll get an answer. 😅
can the etching or bonding liquids burn your gums? i have a root showing and its so ugly. i got veneers. will lanap help?
How many veneers did you get? Bottom teeth?
How old are you?
@@HelderP1337 I’m 32 and I got 20 emax laminate veneers. They barely touched my teeth. I got them done in Los Angeles. I love them. My gums were just angry now they are beautiful
@@itsaaronlolz what caused your gum recession in the first place?
I'm 38 and I think I screwed it all up by putting braces, the orthodontist is leaning teeth forward and I'm getting a lot of recession. I'm dying of anxiety here man.
@@HelderP1337 I don’t have gum recession. I think my gums are sensitive to etching and adhesive. I have a crown in the back and it also has a little hole of missing gums. The rest of my teeth are fine.
I’m from Michigan, but I live in San Antonio, Texas…. Do you have a recommendation here?
I went for a consultation with Dr Robert Friedberg in Houston. I was very impressed with the practice.
@@barnwela thank you so much!
Does pinhole fix the black triangles?
I think grafting might be better for that, but you'd need to ask a periodontist
Can You show any examples (with X-Rays), where bone recreates after Pinhole technique, like You have repeated times shown after LANAP treatments ? It is a pitty, that the pinhole technique is hold as "secrete issue", without any real operation videos etc. published anywhere. All other techniques, like palate gum transplantation and also bone crafting in recession ereas with open operation techniques are documented as videos and in print media. But nothing about pinhole technique becomes published. This is suspicious and a free publication should be done. Also for better scientific advancing of this method.
Can you just fill the gap with the composite as an alternative option ?
It doesn't look natural and it doesn't feel the same. But yes
@@AbtinXthis might be a good alternative if the area is not visible tho, sounds way more invasive too.
Are you talking about teeth bonding, or something else?
@@HelderP1337 I don't really remember what this was about. I think I meant ceramic with the lower buccal ceramic made to look like soft tissue. I never liked that approach but sure it can be done.
It s wrong Dr Nemeth. It's when the bone recedes, then the gum recedes with it and not the other way around.
jeez 5-25k.... thats is a big swing, im assuming a gum graft is twice as much? Gotta love out medical "healthcare" system.
Too much. Turkey will be 1/100th of the price for a world class doctors. Everyone goes there for medical tourism. Research it.
25k , thats very expensive for a days work. why cant it be done so everybody can afford it
5k to 25k. And I thought switzerland is expensive. DAAAYUM!
$25,000 is well out of most people price range lets be real
That's why you see people have one tooth in their heads. There's no way you can afford these procedures even with dental insurance.
Bullshit. It only cost 2500 per quadrant in California at most.
In Greece 1200
Too expensive 😢
It`s also a matter of who has $25,000... I don`t.
If dentists really cared about your dental health they wouldn't charge outrageous amounts.
tru
They also need dental reform in America along with medical. No procedure should cost thousands of dollars that allow a person to maintain a standard quality of life. There are reputable dentists outside of the country. I would research thoroughly elsewhere. So sad...only for the wealthy and rich. Dr. Nemeth should just say that. Furthermore, Periodontal Disease should be treated as a medical condition and therefore should be covered medically. Why? Because it's likely to get into your bloodstream and impact your heart. Causing heart disease...need I say more.
5000 to 25000 that is crazy
Sad it cost to much you could feed thousands with that kind of money for the poor you may as as well lose your teeth smh……….. good that people got hope with this pinhole bad that it cost is out of the world only for the rich..😮🤦♀️😟☹️
25k? 1 hour procedure? what insurance will cover? byeeeee!....
Seems you're charging too much. Come on doc. $5000 -$25000 seems outrageous. Since it's an evasive procedure.
What the hell 5-25$ thousand yikes
Wtffff 25000 usd😭😭😭😭😭😭
The Main Goal is for You to get Rich ...
You are a Parasite..... There is nothing wrong with having dentures.
just another dental treatment for the rich.
