Seeing as he's in the US made me appreciate just being an hour ahead UK time. Can't imagine waiting for the deadline in the middle of the night for FPL.

@@zwebackshyper9307 lucky because we’re in the actual country it’s taking place? typical yank i know lets start playing mls games at 10am so we can be in the pub for 3pm ready to watch some woeful footy
Best advice I got from Jamie was play your own game. Too many times you can sucked into ownership and fpl twitter and following the crowd but take parts from great content creators like Andy and make your own decisions. I sometimes make a different call right upto the deadline depending how I feel and it’s helped!

What I find so impressive about this is with time difference, late news that he can't act on and not watch that many matches to see who is in form that people might see if their watching the the games live and in full and only his second season. Crazy
Form is overrated in my opinion. It’s a factor obviously but think people put way too much importance on it.
@@mrpees3534 I agree. The only time I see players go on random streaks of good runs is players like maddison. He can be injured for half the season, but score like 5 games in row, which he has done the last 2 seasons I think. Fixtures are way more important imo

Seems like a really genuine person and was really interesting to hear his thoughts. As an Aussie I can relate to the issues with deadlines, the 3:30am deadlines are just killers.

What a nice fella! I won my work league and previous work league 😂 Winning the double was brilliant and topping my best friend of 12 years for the first time and we have played for almost all that time. My best season on record at rank 126,453 I was ecstatic, god knows how he felt. Brilliant!
Well done Jamie! I can't imagine being number 1 in the world, I was top of out mini league and I found that stressful enough 🤣

How come he could make wise selections when he didn’t watch matches? I feel myself overwhelmed with what I see in matches vs what FPL experts advise on Twitter and RUclips.
You don't need to watch matches to do well at FPL.

Other team fans got this Bad Chant that goes - Man u Man u Went on a Plane, Man u Man u never came home again. referring to the 1958 Munich plane crash where 7 of the starting 11 plus coach and staff died in a plane crash. Real Man United fans never refer to the team as Man U (I think it is because of the chant). But What the hell do i know., I've never been to a game or even to England.

@@mrpees3534 I say if fpl doesn't give the 2nd free hit he doesn't win. Michael coone winner 20/21 this season nowhere. 19/20 winner Joshua bull since nowhere. He did get extreme luck. Even the last day when saka didn't get the penalty and everyone else owned. Kdb getting 4 in a game for first time.
@@arthurbraincell1198 yeh probably not but that doesn’t mean he didn’t deserve it. Anyone in the top 100 at least (maybe top 500) has essentially done well enough to win it. Comes down to variance at the end of the day.

He dropped to 1000+. Was peed off and took a lot of gambles! Luck made it pay off. If he was number 1 and wildcarded in 34 would've got Trent and salah? Of course he would've. So just luck! Said himself too

Totally agree with Pxlpusher72, I won a bit of coin for coming 2nd in my league and that's mostly thanks to following this channel, Andy I owe you a drink. I learned a lot this season and hoping to take that into next season to do better. Good luck everyone with season 2022/23

@@noctambule5726 We understand futbol. The problem is our best athletes do no play the sport here in the US and we have pay to play system here. American football fantasy here dwarfs that of FPL in mere contestants and strategy. It's pretty easy getting FPL content here in the US, since all the information is provided by American platforms anyways.
