I agree with you you, I listen to her speech and she made too many sense. I pray God gives you lots of beautiful days, I'm David Greg originally from Spain Granada i live in Austin Texas and you?
I love this talk and will be using it as a discussion point in my Theatre for Social Change course at Ithaca College. Thank you for an inspired Ted Talk! Through my work with my program Performing Arts for Social Change, we tackle these kinds of issues, so I know and appreciate the potential for inspiring others via powerful presentations, like Eliza VanCort’s talk!
Eliza, thank you for your wise teaching and courage. You are a powerful force for good in the world. This is such a great message to help us have full presence and voice.

Wish I could have seen this live! You don’t get a feel for how much the audience was involved unless you listen very closely- would have been nice to get some shots of the crowd, your son and daughter said the house was really with you!!
The more male role a woman take the more woman empowerment they have. A successful single woman in business will still look down at a housewife mother of 4 young kids.

This talk may have value for some who struggle with claiming their own power, but nothing "revolutionary", original or new here. I appreciated that she addressed the old trend of "up talking". However this has been discussed by therapists for years since the Valley Girl days, as well as in Canadian newspapers, Psychology Today, etc. zzzzz...
I'm so glad my daughter sent this to me today. I needed to hear this.
I don't understand why this video doesn't have more views. This speaker is life changing !

This is a powerful talk. Men need to hear it just as much as women.

The personal anecdote gave me goosebumps
This is great Eliza - powerful point about "owning silence" versus "being silenced".

Yeah, but just listen to the younger women. Also, I have always claimed my space, and it has not gone well for me.
Also, did you listen to it all? Many women learn to be invisible because of abuse.
Of course it has been talked about but nobody hits the nail quite like Eliza. She’s something special and yes it’s Revolutionary
