I think these are sharp. We have no need for a van ourselves (our children have grown) but many families could use one of these. What my wife would find very handy is the 'Space' underneath the center counsel. Perfect for her purse/saddlebag. LOL
Thanks, Jeff! We bought one last month and I thought, "Jeff hasn't done a review on these!" It's an amazing car! We live in the PNW, and the AWD has been amazing this very snowy season. We've played with the fog lights, are using the roof racks without ski rack attachment, and love the safety features. What we do not like is when a buckle is undone, the beeping cannot be turned off. My son switched seats one day, and he had to reach over and buckle the empty seat so the alarm would stop going off. We have three kids and four dogs so there is plenty of room for everyone and I absolutely love the price at the gas pumps!! We've been able to use the app to start the car on our way down from the slopes, and when we get to the car, it's toasty and ready for us!
I'm still thinking of buying a Sienna but I just wish they would address some issues mentioned by many owners and since you won't probably here more then 1 or 2 in most reviews here's a list of a few before you buy in the hopes that some one from Toyota will see it. 1. The Rear window wiper is on the bottom instead of on the top like in the previous model which had it cool looking and tucked away. 2. Sliding passenger doors still don't open wide enough. 3. Middle row seats are still not removable. An easy solution would be to have it slide all the way Into the rear cargo area and just make the rear seat removable 4. TV Screens are still not offered behind the headrest forcing every one's view to be blocked when in use by the sorry to say but outdated fold down wide screen 5. If you want a black interior you're still forced to have a hard to match construction orange stitching 6. The Info screen is still not intended Into the dashboard which makes it hard to see on sunny days 7. Dashboard storage shelves are just not deep enough so most thing slide when the vehicle is in motion
Great review, Jeff! Waiting on a 23 XLE windchill pearl with entertainment, plus package, and 18 inch wheel upgrade that was built today. We also have a 21 highlander hybrid XLE in blizzard pearl. Best car we’ve ever owned! Have followed your videos for years and love watching them! Keep up the great videos!
@@toronado455 We had a Subaru Ascent, but we had issues with it. My wife has a heavy foot and she always wanted a highlander. I figured I’d go for the hybrid. Only issue is that with a stroller in the back, it doesn’t allow for much room. I’ll be driving the sienna and will enjoy the space.
A van with this much features and convenience definitely needs to have a wireless apple car play and android auto. Not worth buying without that feature in any car especially in 2023. I am sure upper trims have them but this needs to be a basic feature. Also I feel like toyota will definitely come out with solar paneled van in future like they did with prius. @1:37 Hi Jeff, please do not use the word "CVT transmission" as there are no CVT belts on this. I love it having 2 motor generators as the transmission. That N/A 2.5 engine is great for reliability imo. Those 17in alloy wheels are perfect for crazy potholes on the road I take everyday here in CO. As for the trims I do not understand why Toyota stopped Woodland trim. It had suv features like the extra ground clearance and awd system while keeping the minivan goodness of passenger roominess, thicker 3rd row seat cushion, better ventilation at the back.
"[cargo] behind the first row 101 cubic feet" - Behind the front row? And how do you propose to get rid of the second row (without violating warranty)?
@@stephenfiore9960 Yeah, so every time I want extra space, I will pull out my tools and dismantle the damned seats (possibly voiding the warranty), remove them, store them somewhere, and then go through the process in reverse. Toyota has lost its mind.
