This song takes me back to when life was simple. No cell phones, no selfies, no rushing to make social media posts about it, just embracing every second of those moments.
This song takes me back to this one time I had diarrhea and all the problems in the world had to do with my butt. No cell phones to take pictures of my diarrhea which is a drag to think about actually. I am kind of pissed I wasn't able to capture that mess I made.

This album always transports me straight back to my high school years in 1999. Several times a week my best friend and I would sneak out after our parents went to bed, "borrow" his parents stick shift car by silently coasting it down the hill in neutral, and proceed to drive to the Korean mini mart where we could buy cigarettes despite clearly not being old enough, and a pile of off brand sodas from a quarter vending machine in front of the local grocery store. All of that probably ran us $5 total. My friend always had this CD with him, and we played it almost every time we went out at night for that whole year. Park the car behind an old dentist's office where nobody ever saw or heard us, roll the tunes quietly with the windows open, and bullshit with each other about high school drama for several hours while leaning up against that Ford Escort wagon, chugging sodas and puffing smokes in the most high school way possible. The night always ended the way it started - coasting that Escort down the road silently right up to his parents house, to the exact same spot where we started. Looking back, I can't believe we never got caught by our parents. I miss those old days all the time - though I haven't touched a cigarette in almost 20 years.

A story of love that has failed before. The idea that it was the right person wrong time. Seeing the true beauty of love and the person you care so much for. The satisfaction of it coming back together and forming something stronger before. The idea that struggles are on both sides, but with work form a now unbreakable bond. Love that is truly meant to be, love that is truly "Stellar".
Damn this was my favorite song when I was pregnant with my son and he's 21 now! Holy hell I feel old. I was 22 when I was pregnant with him and I swear every time the first notes start it's like I'm in my early twenties singing to my belly and feeling him kick.
A guy that I have known for about 3 months had given me this song recently. He lives in west virginia, he's 2 hours away from me but we both like eachother... a lot like a lot!! And I had asked him to give me a song for the way he feels about me. He gave me this. Hes been there for me and I've been there for him for these past couple months. I about cried when i heard it. It was beautiful.
I have found this song accidentally through Spotify auto play today, and it's been more than 10 years since I've heard it. Nostalgia hit me very hard in the heart.

Stellar.. What else can I say?.. This is a beautiful song and I always remember the feel of your fingertips as they glide across my shoulders while I fell asleep to the sound of your heartbeat
+Renée Rodriguez weird seeing you here.
actually you probably don't remember me heh
+Ohio Against The World lol..no..I don't think I remember..

+Ohio Against The World lol..hmmm.. blue oktober? I'm sorry your name seems familiar though :)
Released: August 8, 2000
Recorded: May-June 1999
Make Yourself was released 10-26-99...I was jamming this new years eve 1999 with 2 of my best friends. Not trying to be a dick, I love anyone who listens to this music🤘🤘🤘
that was my sr year of hs... my buddy turned me on to them... Best of friends still 22 years later
I've been a fan ever since I've heard you!!! I believe I've heard "pardon me" and "Dig" first back in 2007. I'm 27 now and my dad LOVES you guys!!!
You have no idea how much this song gets to me. Any song from incubus, ESPECIALLY oil and water, reminds me so much of my mom to the point of tears.
I miss QUALITY music. The 90's were something special.
Don't forget the 80s. It was a magical time to be alive.
people will always favor what is nostalgic for them, and there is much to be found if you take the time to look for it.
these are the 2000's actually, but I get you point ;)
They've been relewasing stuff for 25 years.... They are far from just being a "90s" band...
Mon P. The 50s was lacking and just war music The Beatles came along pretty crappy music to me The 60s were the pagen bitter herb and sour wine vietnam days The seventies were so sucky with its polyester harmonies The 80s was all about crotch rock and The 90s are the golden millenial age and the best music that blows all the previous decades out of the water still does
Literally just got back from their concert. They still put on a great show!
I like the bass player! It's nice how he plays the bass.
you should see him on the toilet!
These guys are fire, miss 90’s music 🎶

Same here , that's when I fell in love with them
I first heard this song on guitar hero in the 7th grade and loved this song since. The vibes are just something else!
I used to listen to this on limewire!!! Good ol’ days!! ❤️
God bless incubus and their marriages forever ❤
Wonderful artists. My first time seeing them 8-5-23. Great band i adored in my 20s. Was so haopy to see them live
My first favorite song from this group. So creative and flowing....
Still a beautiful song. Thrills the heart. Pretty lyrics and stunning video.
It's a song about an obsessive stalker ^^;. But yeah, totally agree.
Darkly beautiful song.
Critical Hit It's not. It was written for Brandon's then girlfriend. If I remember correctly, her name's Jo.
Rye Cristoria Yeah ^^ I had two different tabs open and accidentally wrote that in this comment box; was referring to a different song. Lol.. Oops.
Critical Hit lol wtf.
One of my favorite songs from my high schools days. How the time goes by 😢
Haven't listened to this song in a minute...the first chorus actually sent chills down my spine. SO great.
I'm so happy I got to grow up listening to Incubus on the radio
Didn't expect it. Never will.
Happy birthday, Brandon! 40 years old!
this was the song that made me a fan
"Meet me in outer space,
we could spend the night
watch the earth come up..."
2:03 ......When stumbling in a video just FREAKIN ROCKS !!!!!
Well It's about the joys of sex... Now we know what he thinks of you. Jk
Olivia Ralls my boy gave me this song too.
Eventually your song will be, blood on the ground

The number of females at their shows is something to behold. Dude had them coming out the woodwork. 🤘
Dude still is a chick magnet
I have found this song accidentally through Spotify auto play today, and it's been more than 10 years since I've heard it. Nostalgia hit me very hard in the heart.
Takes me back to the summer of 2000, what an amazing few months those were.
I could watch this pretty little man boy sing all goddamn day.

+Tiphany757 googled it. Damn! You're right. Time hasn't been friendly to him.
I've been listening to this song for 20 years+ and it's as great as it was the first time. It's one of my all time favorite songs.

Idk what but I woke up this morning with this in my head and I haven't listened to this band in over ten years but here I am rocking out lol
No matter how many times I hear this song I never get tired of it!
