      Are you still running the PZ 30 and what kind of Jets are you running for that 222 Big bore kit because I've been running a nibby PE 26 flange carburetor on the stock motor before I changed to the big bore because I've done all kinds of other stuff to it but I got that nibby working perfectly fine but for some reason I can't jet it correct for the big bore kit that I have I have a 195 kit and the 222 I'm running the 222 right now but I wanted to see what works for you on your 222cc? My name's Jim I appreciate any info you can give me Thank you!

      @ hey Jim yes I’m still running the PZ 30 carb, I never messed with the Jets at all. I found the 26 mm carb to be too small and lean even for the factory displacement. It was a little too lean for my liking. if you have a 222 kit, I recommend a 30 mm carb

    I'm a new sub so I have not seen your review of the big bore after installing it? I know this will be the carb to feed the beast
    but I still need to see how happy you are after all the time/money put into it? I'll get there & if by chance you've not had time
    to put it out, don't worry.....lol, take your time & do a good job !! I'll come to see it. Thanks for the videos peace

      @@diggy-d8w you’re right I probably owe a good review video. Most of the time I will do an install video with a conclusion at the end. I’m not much of a talker I’m more of a do-er . I’ve tried doing review videos in the past, but they never perform well, and I feel like I don’t accomplish anything. If I’m just talking about something I would rather get hands-on and accomplish something. But you’re right I do owe a better explanation of the performance results.. I can tell you that the torque is very much improved on the low to mid end. I believe the improved torque will allow me to swap and overdrive sprocket on the front. Which will allow lower RPMs at higher speeds, and with the increased torque, it should be able to carry itself.

      No, I think you do what you do.... just do it well & all the rest will fall into place. Don't "HEM" yourself into doing videos
      like other channels do them & if you are a "Doer", then just Do It ! I appreciate what I'm seeing or I wouldn't have ever
      stopped. I don't even own a bike but I'm here knowing I might be owning this one & you are doing the MOD's that I'm
      very likely to want done. That said, keep doing what you are comfortable in doing - people sense when you try to
      push something out that feels off. You're doing fine & I'll see ya at the next video or before. Thanks for your time!
      Between this mod, air/fuel & exhaust upgrades, the sprocket gearing changes will allow whatever you want as far
      as trail or getting the speeds on the road that make it safer for you. The small sprocket is a 13-15 tooth & if you've
      already got more bottom end after the upgrades here, dropping by 1-2 teeth at the case will give you 60-70MPH
      on the roads, if that's where you're pointing this bike? I'll be watching & thanks again.
      peace

    Just ordered the same carb, nibbi throttle cable, and a few other bits. Have my big bore kit sitting here ready to go in. Excited to get all the mods started.
    What elevation are you at mostly and what jets did you end up with on the 30mm carb with just the big bore kit and exhaust mod?
    I plan to do the super head but I will have my big bore in well before then so curious where my jets should be.

      @@isthattoasted8152 awesome 💪😎👍 I never modified the new carb. It’s supposed to be jetted for somewhere around ~225cc 🤷🏽‍♂️ I’m in the higher elevations of Ontario Canada

      Thanks for the reply! Is there any way you could post a photo somewhere of the way your lines are connected? I’m confused with all the charcoal can crap hanging there I feel like I’m going to hook this thing up wrong lol. Feels like a silly question after doing a big bore install 🤷

    • @isthattoasted8152

      I see the main connection but the one on the bottom gets connected to? The one on the bottom of the factory one seems to go to that big can

    • @613Builds
      @613Builds  3 месяца назад

      @@isthattoasted8152 the bottom is a drain hose. It just hangs down with the rest of the drain tubes. The top LH side is fuel inlet. That’s all there is for the carbs I’ve used.
      I’ve still got the factory vacuum line from the intake boot to the diaphram pump for the EGR exhaust tube but I have the exhaust tube basically capped off going to a dead end with one of the factory evap parts .

    How fast are you going now

    • @613Builds
      @613Builds  3 месяца назад +1

      @@BigTexUSA a lot faster on the 0 to 60 acceleration and low end torque. The top band is only slightly affected due to the gear, ratios and rev limits. But doing this will provide more torque and more power, which will allow for a better overdrive gear swap, or sprocket swap.

      SXParts has the big valve head for sale again if you’re wanting top end speed/power.

    How's the Big bore kit working out after a month

      What kit are you using

    • @613Builds
      @613Builds  3 месяца назад +1

      @@chrisklein4366 I got a generic kit off Amazon . I think it’s originally designed for CRF150 but the engine is the same here. They have been doing performance modifications on the CRF150F for a many years. The XR150 has only been in Canada here since 2023 , I ordered mine in 2023 , but the engine and the XR150 are old technology in other parts of the world. The piston that came with this kit appears identical to the one supplied with the scooter shop kit so they are probably selling similar Chinese generic versions of the CRF big bore kit as well. After a month nothing has changed. Still lots more low end and mid torque, still much faster 0-60 than stock. Top end doesn’t change much but the 0-60 acceleration is greatly improved.
