Congratulations Susan! I know this was a big project for you and so meaningful to get out into the world. More people need to know about food addiction and BLE.
Congratulations! Greetings from Germany. And thank you so much! I got many valuable insights from you and am following you closely. I'm not even overweight and still consider myself somewhat addicted to food in a negative way. And I have great respect for everyone in the community who IS overweight or obese... Keep going and returning to the path of BLE! From my visits to the US I understand that the food environment in the US is so much more difficult for everyone than here in Europe. Love to you all, be strong!
Hi Susan! I have experienced burnout with bright line eating in the past, I feel like I just want to have different combinations of food. Have you ever experienced this? How would you recommend dealing with this?
Hi there. This is definitely the sort of question that we'd recommend a member call in to get coaching around, to really get at the root of WHY you're looking for different foods, what is at the root of that, what's driving it. If that is not an option for you, you could write in and suggest Susan shoot a vlog about it here: www.brightlineeating.com/vlog-ideas/ 🥰

How interesting that the Yale Scale only looks at subjective experience of harm/impairment/distress - without taking denial into account.... Don't all of the usual approaches to diagnosing addiction take into account objective measures of physical and social harm (including assessments of colleagues, family, friends)?
Whatever happened to getting bright line eating as an acceptable diet that the health care system would support and allow people to follow it that aren't financially fit enough to follow the plan?
Hi there! 🧡We're not exactly sure what you're referring to, but perhaps you're wondering if Bright Line Eating is covered by health insurance? If you have been diagnosed with a condition (including, but not limited to, diabetes, obesity, hypertension, heart disease, back pain, acid reflux, arthritis, or PCOS) you may qualify to use the pre-tax funds in your FSA, HRA, or HSA account to pay for your BLE course(s) or membership. You can learn more here: www.brightlineeating.com/fsa-hra-hsa

Unfortunately, my HSA would not allow me to use funds to pay for Boot Camp or membership.
