Thank you for this video. It is very informative and I can watch it at my own pace thanks to the pause button. I use these videos to brush up on skills that I don't use often enough to remember. I really appreciate the conciseness of the Purl Soho videos. I have watched too many videos that are unnecessarily long and I have to fast forward to get to the point.
This video SAVED me tonight. I finally finished my first pair of "regular" socks (I'd made one other pair using a very non-traditional method). I'm ecstatic! I marched for women's rights AND grafted my first socks, on the same day. It's a very special day!
I loved the tutorial. Really helpful! You didn't show the finish, though. I watched another video that showed the finishing step when you are left with one stitch on each needle. simple but needed. Also, the little chant people do is helpful to remember the 4 steps. (Front needle: Knit off, purl, Back needle: purl off, knit. Repeat.) I often can't remember how to set it up. So I look for a video! Thanks for the tutorial!
This is a really great video! Would you mind if I included the link to it in a sock pattern that I'm writing to help people who need to learn or need a refersher, please?
Extremely helpful with the colors. Thanks for your tip, this has been by far the clearest video..FN pearl,BN knit,*FN knit drop FN Pearl BN knit drop BN pearl*... repeat from * to end. ??? Is that correct?
For anyone who says this is too fast, click the cog symbol in the upper right corner, then click "Playback speed". You can make it go slower so you don't have to constantly pause and start the video. :)
Nice tutorial. I'm a beginner so maybe I'm not getting it. You're showing us how to do this with a separate piece of yarn. Which tail would I use to do this? The tail from the back needle or the front needle?
I started and infinity scarf by using a Provisional cast on, using circular needles. Now I am at the end. I have not bound off, all of my last row stitches are still on the needle. I am now threading my needle that has no stitches on it through my stitches held by the provisional CO. Is this the method I would use to graft the 2 ends together? I am assuming the end of my work would be the bottom needle in your video, and the beginning of my work would be the top needle in your video?
We're sorry to hear you're struggling! If it's easier to see this broken down by steps - we have a written tutorial here... www.purlsoho.com/create/kitchener-stitch-video/ Hope this helps - Happy knitting!

Fantastic, exactly what I was looking for, a chant to help along with a difficult stitch.
Can you please show or describe what to do with the last two stitches?
So pleased with how my sock turned out, thank you so much.
Gotta love that graffiti. 🎉I’m knitting the “Jumbo Christmas Stocking in a Jiffy” by Jennifer L. Jackson from Ravelry.
I can't thank you enough! I've been knitting for over 50 years and somehow I can never remember how to do this.

Thanks for taking the time to show us this!
perfeito! Amei!
Perfect! I love it!
That contrasting yarn really helped me. You went to fast, but I just stopped the video every stitch. I got it though. Thank you.
Thank you! This helped me with my Weekender finishing. 🤍
Соединение полотен стежками
She goes too fast for beginners
That’s what the pause button is for!
Nope!
This did not help, you did it at a pace that's for someone that's been doing it for ever?
