My heart goes out for all of you searching for jobs. I have just begun my 31st year of teaching high school English. I know many young teachers are quitting. I would advise them to have a plan for another career before leaving. One young teacher who resigned at the end of the last school year has now been trying to get his job back. Well, they replaced him.
The economy (businesses) is in survival mode, cutting fat (layoffs) and focused only on their bottom line. There is no soft landing, only a crash. Don't believe me. Let's check out the new layoffs that will not doubt take place between now and 1/1/25.

I was laid off in March & recently took a job within my field but I took a $11 dollar pay cut 😅 && I hate it! I feel like I failed at life and I’m looking for jobs as I type 😂 I recently had an interview for a Social Media Manager & I thought I had it in the bag until I got turned down 😢

Yep. My job is blue collar trade worker. My phone won't quit ringing and the benefits and pay is insane. I'm goimg to knock down about 250,000 this year.
4 months of me being unemployed and I didn’t qualify for unemployment. I can say I have lacked nothing my 4 months of being unemployed. GOD is good!
