I love the sheer audacity of releasing a game titled Goldeneye: Rogue Agent, with the developers knowing how revered the N64 game is and it not having anything to do with the movie or N64 game but instead having you not play as James Bond, but as a rando with a literal golden eye. That's hilarious.

A shame you didn’t mention the Wii version specifically of Goldeneye (but not Playstation, Xbox or the weird DS port) still had a diehard multiplayer fanbase up until a few years ago, because there were very few options when it came to modern online multiplayer games where you can actually use the pointer like a lightgun.

Nightfire has three separate versions. Xbox/GC/PS2 got one version, PC got another, and then the GBA version. The PC version is basically a total conversion mod of Half-Life. The GBA version is if you made a demake of the previous two games in one.
GoldenEye Wii was more like, how can we take the GoldenEye game and movie, and basically retell it with modern technology and expectations. It takes every single major setpiece and scenario (and even some of the level designs) of the original GoldenEye 64, and expands them into more immersive and more fleshed out narrative-driven game. If you know the N64 version by heart, you recognize each level and how they retooled it to be more believable (or in some cases, longer and more combat heavy).

Goldeneye is one of those treasured, nostalgic gaming experiences for anyone alive in the late 90's. Everything or Nothing was a huge step up as far as graphics and third person mechanics go. It actually still looks good to me and holds up today next to some Xbox One games. I always prefer third person to first person and I had always hoped there would be a 3rd person Bond game.

Project 007 is not made by the people who made the Hitman reboot. Simply because it's always been the same company from Hitman Codename 47 to the last HITMAN World of Assassination.
So you should correct to "the guys behind the HITMAN franchise since 25 years now"
