I remember before RUclips I saw chad on cover of a magazine and I was like is that will Ferrell? They all laughed and was like oh snap it does look like him! Been a joke between me and my friends for 20 years. Was so cool to see this come out years later.
I honestly thought that Will was doing both parts. I really thought it was him the whole time. With him playing hiself of course, then them stopping the recording for the quick switch, to start back up with recording "the other guy", whom I just assumed was still Will Ferrel. The resemblance of those 2 are uncanny! It's so totally unreal & crazy how much they look alike one another especially in this very moment of time. I was completely tripping out there for a bit, had to do me a double, triple take......etc, etc, etc. Plus scroll over & read through many of the comment's that people have left for this "Shorts". Before I finally realized what was going on.
Love that Will’s sounded more like music made his baby comment even more funnier since Chad’s playing just sounded like trying to bang the drums as fast as possible.
The drummer actually playing for Will Ferrell's parts kept it simple so it looked like he was actually playing. They shpuld have had him do some sick fill while Will still "mimed" a basic four on the floor beat and then said, "You didn't even SEE what I just did"
