Vince Carter was known as Vinsanity, Air Canada, Half-Man/Half-Amazing, which he career spanned to playing in the NBA for 22 seasons. He primarily played as a shooting guard, but he was versatile enough to contribute as a small forward and even a power forward at times. He won a Slam Dunk Content during his time at the All-Star Game. He was a 8-time NBA All-Star and Rookie of the Year. He also was known as his electrifying dunks, clutch performances, and longevity in the league left an indelible mark on basketball history. Whether he was soaring through the air or hitting crucial shots, Vince was a true entertainer and a fan favorite. His legacy remains an ironic figure in the world of basketball.🏀🏀🏀🏀

    TMAC: 34 ppg 9 rpg 7 apg .44 FG% .34 3PT%

Both were incredibly deadly scorers known for their dunking
    Both scored 25,000+ points
Both made at least 8 star teams

He's made it clear time and time again that he loves Toronto, and he would not disrespect the game of basketball, because the game has been so good to him. His own words. Go watch interviews of him. He is a true blue guy. I'm a Knicks fan, but I'm actually a huge fan of him too. It hurts that you actually think these things about him. Imagine a freakishly athletic Carmelo Anthony, but who isn't a dickhead. And during his years as a star, he had an off-switch that Randy Moss could admire. That was Vince. We all expected much more out of his career, but we never got it.
I think he was a guy who never really wanted to be THE guy. He was probably better off as an elite second-option in his prime. The fact that he turned around his career near the end and became the consummate teammate and professional really saved his legacy. He's beloved now, but that wasn't always the case.

I appreciate the honesty, you missed some additional situations why Toronto hated him but in his defence he did become a good vet… for other teams. Sadly, Vince was never accountable for his end of the issues ‘til this day.

It’s amazing how almost every single major reflection of Vince’s career in New Jersey is wrong. “ only good for that half season after toronto then went back to playing poorly or disinterested” loll immediate thumbs down- all it takes is one google search. One Google search to look at his numbers would tel you he went on to have 3 superstar top 10 seasons until 2007. It’s unfortunate but as a fan I’ve sort of accepted thaf people just refuse to do actual research when it comes to Vince and just carry other peoples or channels narratives because it saves time lol good job bud.

Only 22pts per game??? To score 1000 points you only need to average 11.6 points per game. I feel Vince went through what Gianni is going through. "What we expect" is not on him...its on us. He was great!

yall realize the media were calling vince the next jordan right? insanely athletic guard out of unc, i mean it’s right there. bro was not obsessed with winning, was honestly kinda soft and eventually straight up quit on the team that drafted him. and nobody wants to say it but the end of his career was kinda embarrassing, dude could have retired before he got to memphis he was done
