This losing electrons results in the apple turning dark brown. People used (incorrectly) the word "oxidation" to describe the process of foundations drying down to a darker colour after the alcohol and water evaporates. I hope I explained this in a comprehensive manner!
i think bc her face and neck are different undertones (her face is more neutral), people think it’s too orange, but it’s matching her neck, not her face!! i have the same thing (face with cooler undertone) and it’s always a pain

I like the glowy finish! If you're wanting to know whether it will work on your wedding day, perhaps you could add primer powder setting spray - all the shabang, so you have a proper idea! And also wear it in different circumstances, different weather.

Not sure if you did this already, but you should definitely look at haus labs’ foundation!! Its medium coverage but can be built on, makes your skin look so natural, has skincare ingredients, and has 50+ shades! ❤ only downside is it’s price for 30ml of product 🙂↕️🙂↕️
Continue the series!! I’m the type of girl that puts on my makeup at like 6-7 a.m. and wearing it all day. Knowing which ones last would be awesome! (Some that I already know wear well: Maybelline Super Stay skin tint, about face The Performer, and Estée Lauder Double Wear. But I think the Double Wear gets kind of dry over time.)
If you do decide to do a wear test series, please try that one against the Lancôme, Fenty, & Nars foundations if they have your skin tone (or even Maybelline FitMe for a department store brand). I’ve always been curious as to how they compared to each other. It would be interesting to see.

Girl! Loreal infallible freshwear is the bedt wedding foundation. I hated l'o foundations for years, the true match looked sh.. on me, but this one is like best kept secret. Skin-like, long lasting, breathable, gazylion shades, you can finish it with lumi or matte powder/spray. You need to really blend it to look good but it is worth it ❤❤

I have never been color matched correctly at Sephora. They keep telling me I’m cool toned. No way in hèll I’m cool toned. Last time they said I was a shade my pasty daughter would be. I’m a neutral to warm toned Latina.
Prada did good with producing a line with a lot of colors (ex employee that dealt with all of product first hand). I will say things that are not worth the line the eyeshadow pallets and the brushes. They also do skincare but I can’t say it’s good or bad tbh
I’ve tried color matching so many times and it’s been a fail…Every. Single. Time. I have an olive undertone on my left cheek and chin, a neutral undertone on my nose, around my eyes (brow bone, temples and under my eyes about 1/8 of an inch) and the rest of my face has a very pink undertone. I have to color correct the absolute SHIT out of my face, use three different very light skin tints to even everything out a bit more and THEN a foundation with a neutral undertone… After all that, I feel like a freaking clown, say screw it, take it all off, do skin prep and just throw on a tinted SPF and Halo Glow 😂
I saw a video of a girl who said that you could use a blue corrector to cancel the orange hue of the foundation. While she used light blue because her skin was lighter, I think for darker skin tones a darker blue would work. I'd like to see you try it because somehow foundations look kinda orange on you
I'll never understand rich people. Y'all spend money on things that don't even make sense. Weddings don't last forever. marriage does. I got married in a courthouse wearing normal makeup that I did myself and I paid a hairdresser to do my hair. I never ever ever think about my wedding day. It's not important and you'll forget all about it. What really matters is love you have with your partner. It's just a waste like how many foundations do you have? This over consumption of makeup is part of the problem.

The shade match initially was on point for your neck but not your face. I personally didn’t like the way this foundation looked at the end of the day. But if you did, then I say try a shade or two lighter so that when it does oxidize, it will look like your skin tone at the end of the day. I’m Indian too, so I get it ❤😊

HUUUHH WHAAT whenever u just apply the foundation im like "THATS TOO YELLOW-" and then you finish the make up n it looks like ur perfect match!

It’s not oxidation it’s the dry down. A foundation is going to “deepen” as it dries because of the water evaporation. Like paint on a wall

i think you put too much product on, it looked better on the neck. you need a lighter shade for mattifying or setting.

If you have a maid of honor at your wedding they can touch up your makeup every once and awhile and you will look even more flawless 😊
