ALL FIRST PARTY X-BOX GAMES STAY ON GAMEPASS FOREVER
Same with the other subscriptions too, like Ubisoft and EA. The only games I actually buy anymore are the ones I can find on steam sales that are third-party on the services, and there is odds I want to guarantee access to it forever.
wdym by party games? any help
"First party" means a game made by the company itself. Like how Microsoft makes Halo, Forza, etc.
Wich arent worth to play more then once
@@danielstokker I am not so sure about that, I bought a loot of those games (when I didn't had game pass) and played them for a lot of hours

Here’s my thing. I haven’t payed full price for a new game in 5 years. I’ve always waited for a sale. I spent 15 bucks on ni no kuni 2 and played it for 2 months. If I had gotten it on game pass it would have cost me 30 bucks. People seem to really not understand how subscription costs stack. Let’s take Skyrim for example. I spent 60 dollars on it 6 years ago. I still sometimes play it to this day. So every time I want to boot up a game I’ve payed for and played years ago will now run me 15 bucks
@@millardbaldwin7650 if you are someone that plays a single game for months , gamepass wont benefit you.
But if you are like me that shares his xbox with my kids and like to try out multiple games, the gamepass saves me tons of money
@@millardbaldwin7650 i see the game pass more as a demo disc from back in the old days. If i really like something on it i buy it later on steam if i want to play it again.
I've had Gamepass Ultimate since they allowed to convert Xbox Gold. Think my average cost for 15 months was $2.75 a month. I'll finally begin paying the full price come February but it'll still be worth it. My only downside with it is the abundance of choice can lead to a bit of gaming ADD. It's so easy to jump from game to game that you have a bunch of games you started but not many completed.
@Console Gaming lol true. I try to focus on no more than 3 games at a time now. I have Control Ultimate Edition on PC. Another one I need to finish up but that game freaks me out for some reason.
So if u buy ultimate u don't need gold to play multi-player
@@ken_ken2k ultimate comes with gold
Good point
This is why I only focus one game at a time so it actually feels like a unique experience and I can finish it fully before I delete it and replace with another
Same. I'm sick of everything being subscription so I didn't want game pass just out of principle. I just got it a couple months ago cause that's the only cards the store had at the time. It's freaking awesome, and I don't want to ever go back. Lol
I agree having subscription everywhere can be annoying(you can thank movies/shows for that) but don't forget you will always have the ability to buy them. As long as that is there and subs are optional I don't mind it as much.

I'd rather get EA Play at Origin myself. For the same $5 a month you pay through XBox, you get access to a ton of third-party games on the origin store that you don't get when you get Gamepass through XBox or Steam.
@@landonp629 There's no $5 charge on GamePass though. It's included.
@@andothersuchnonsense2685 It depends on the their you sign-up for on Gamepass. The $10 per month tier does not include eaPlay. The $15 tier does.
I'd rather pay $10 for Gamepass and $5 for eaplay seperate for a total of $15 a month, than pay $15 a month for Gamepass with eaplay - since you get less games that way.
@@andothersuchnonsense2685 There is very little the $15 tier offers on Gamepass that the $10 tier does. THAT is why I choose to get them separately, as eaplay on origin has about 40 more games from third parties to choose from.
I love gamepass for pc. Halo infinite got me into it, and I’m trying out other AAA games I wanted to try but didn’t think were worth buying in full. They have a lot of options for pc and I love they are connecting Xbox and pc.

Game pass is the best deal in gaming 👏 All 1st party games included day 1. Have tried a bunch of games i wouldn't have tried.
Last year there was a game that I was really wanting to try out, but I didn’t want to pay the full retail price for the game. The game was called kingdom come; deliverance. Anyway, I signed up for the one dollar trial for Game Pass, and imagine my delight when I saw that game on there. After a month of playing, I dished out the full price of the game and of the DLC’s, and I’m still playing that game. I absolutely love game pass, and it makes me excited about the future of gaming
I thought the same until I got an Xbox controller that had a two weeks free Game Pass. That was like two days ago, I love it!
only in my first month with a cost of 1 euro i got and finished both ori games(masterpieces) ,outer worlds ,plague tale and forza horizon 4(still playing it).i will continue using it as i see alot of games on my wishlist are there and im actually convinced to buy a series x.
It's such an insane value, and they keep adding more games and EA access is coming in just a couple of weeks. Thanks for the reminder to play the second Ori game by the way- I played the first one a while back and definitely agree it is a masterpiece.

Hey wanted to ask that is it important to buy xbox for buying PC game pass ??
Own ultimate gamepass till 2023, think of gamepass as a blockbuster video game rental. For 10$/15$ a month you get unlimited downloads to hundreds of games. Now with the new companies they acquired the titles will only go up, and EA? That’s almost every sport game. All they are missing is Call of Duty.
If you have a phone, you have Call of Duty.

How do you guys get your Xbox controller to be more stable on a PC. Mine only works once in a while
im confused to and i wanna try it
question : is this like steam that i will download the game? or is it cloud base?
You must download a game to play it. Xbox Game Pass for PC is not a cloud-based service like Playstation Now.

do you have to use a controller? or can you still use Keyboard and Mouse on Game pass games when playing through PC?
The "Activate mods" button is greyed out for me. I can't click on it. Do you have a tip on how I can activate the mods anyway? Otherwise I'm going crazy, the problem seems to exist only with me, because it's not mentioned anywhere else.
I’m liking that you are leaning towards humor; it looks good on you. Keep it up. 👍🏻
True! Game pass is a great value for money.
Because I have an xbox I usually let my script go dead then buy gold first then game pass ultimate 75 dollars for almost a year of game pass ultimate
Everything is base on the dollar on the price of the game which mean it even worst to compare the price in Asia which is 4 time expensive than us dollar !!
Yeah just not for the people making the games , game pass is going to ruin gaming
@@danielstokker why tho? when you say something put there reasons at least 1
Ps please take notes
Are all the games Xbox controller supported? I use an official Xbox One controller and am really curious about if any games are not controller supported. I have Gamepass for XO and want to put my subscription on Gamepass for windows
For those of us who have XGP Ultimate, we pay 180$ 0er year which equals 3 fullprice games. Consoles usually don't sell on average 3 games per console per year; they sell a lot less. This subscription service likely generates value over time that will far exceed that old model of selling individual games. It's no different than movie streaming services and it's likely the new model for consumers going forward.
I pay 46 for a year at a time
If you are buying ultimate game pass I recommend buying 3 years of gold first . After you add that to your account and then sign up for ultimate, it will convert the 3 years of gold into ultimate. Saving you $360 total. I did it yesterday and I’m glad I did!
Edit: forgot to say will only convert it if it’s your first time signing up for ultimate.
Will it work for me if I bought the trial for the 1 dollar?
The only issue with this is prime hasn’t delivered my second 2 tb hdd to fill up with Xbox stuffs

I have gamepass for PC and on most games when i walk forward with the left stick the camera just moved up to look at the sky and i cant see where im going its soo frustrating anyone know why this is happening?

Is Game Pass "Streaming" or are you using your own hardware to run the game? do you download it ?
I may do some follow up content about game pass, but I want to get the Big Navi videos out while the info is fresh. You are using your own hardware to run the game. So it is basically like subscribing to a library of games that can rotate in and out over time. Games in the library are basically just like they would be on Steam or similar services. You download and install it if you want to play it. The difference is that you don't own the game, so if you stop subscribing or the game rotates off the list, you will lose access (although you can buy the games at a discounted rate to keep them permanently). Microsoft does bundle in their cloud streaming beta if you sign up for the "ultimate" version, but at least for now the streaming service does not exist on PC. It works on Android phones (and I think it works on Xbox as well, but I don't currently own one to verify that.
@@danielowentech yes it's on Xbox. That's what I have it on. Still saving and waiting til around February to build an all AMD rig so don't bash me to hard. Lol
U download it and play on your hardware. Xcloud is when you stream games to any device U can get it on. Afaik the 15$ version of gamepass comes with access to xcloud
Both. The gamepass for pc subscription only offers downloads, but the gamepass ultimate subscription has streaming as well. It does only support android phones right now, but ios and windows support is coming.
Its not streaming, you download the game and play it on your pc/xbox like you would with steam (or any digital marketplace) only caveat is that when they game gets removed from gamepass (only happens with 3th party titles) you have to buy it if you want to continue playing. But this usely comes with a pretty decent discount.
On the other hand Xcloud comes for free with gamepass and let's you stream your games directly to any android (and ios and pc soon).
I love Math/Arithmetic teachers. Always ready to teach, anywhere, anytime.
Awesome video man! Super informative and well explained.
Do I need to check for PC specs to play games on XBOX Gamepass? Like my laptop has NVIDIA GTX1650 (laptop version), 16GB RAM, RYZEN 5 3550H. Can I play most games?
Yes but you can play most games on there with your specs so don't worry. Maybe not on the highest settings but you'll be fine on low/medium on the new AAA games
I just signed up for the $1 first month deal, and Flight Sim actually plays decent on my potato PC.

@@ghostyjo9805 a potato 🥔
I absolutely love game pass for my Xbox series x and for my PC. They have some major AAA games. Xbox game pass is basically dominating right now and they are getting some high-end studios on board. They even getting some PlayStation exclusives. Microsoft did this and they did it right. This was definitely one of their best decisions and it is paying off for them. EA is a part of game pass now. So now you can expect huge EA titles to be on game pass as a part of your subscription. Such as the battlefield series
Thank you for mentioning the battlefield part of this, I'm enjoying my game pass but before your comment I could take it or leave it. Now knowing battlefield is a part of game pass I will forever hold my subscription as long as that's true.
Soo I both some DLC’s for SnowRunner on my Xbox console. I came to the PC with the same Xbox account but my DLC’s aren’t here so I have to buy them again???
Thinking about xbox game pass for pc but my question since you download the games do you need the best PC to play them or PC like mine with minimal graphics?
Anyone use an external HDD or SSD for game pass on PC?

None of mine are working it shows the loading screen and then it goes to a blank screen
Is siege and other non-Microsoft games cross platform on game pass for pc? Can you buy games as well
With game pass I'm inclined to try lots of different games and see if anything sticks. If it does I usually look for a Steam sale and add it to the library if its something I'll keep playing. Games that are 'one and done' work too since they can be finished on game pass and you never have to shell out 60 bucks for a AAA game that you never play again. The try before you buy aspect is what I like the most.
why not just play it on game pass?
this is the only reason why I would be interested in PC PASS
Remember that there is a work around to convert gold to gamepass ultimate. I believe you can still get it to be at a 1:1 ratio.
Not anymore. 24 months of live now only give you 8 months of game pass. 12 months of gold only give you 4 months of gamepass and so forth.

I've had Ultimate since the Series X launched. At first, I felt like "Ok, new console, nothing new at launch, a bunch of old games on GamePass..." but then better stuff showed up, and they've been acquiring studios at an aggressive pace. To echo one of your points, I spent way too much time playing Halo Infinite, and that alone would have been $60. Still, after being a console gamer since the Atari 2600, I'm done with the console ecosystems in general. I just went all PC even though I have to lose my Microsoft Store games. I'll switch to the cheaper PC Game Pass once my Ultimate expires. As you said, it keeps getting better.
do games leave the game pass catalogue or do they stay? especially some of the big titles.

Is there a difference in value between the PC/laptop version of Game Pass and the console? Weighting the pros and cons of both.
And by difference I mean what kind of games you can access.
There is a different library of games. Personal preference I guess on which library you prefer, though there is much overlap.
so, if i buy the xbox game pass for PC i can play with it on xbox one?
I like your subtle humour hahahah
I think the best thing about gamepass is if you and a friend have it you now have a large library of the same games and they're the most likely games to have crossplay. I could be doing some whole other shit on my pc and on a whim hit the xbox button and catch one of my friends online.
Thats a great point!
And if you both have the gamepass you don't need to ask your friends to buy some particular game.

You need to ask yourself how many you can finish in 1 month. Especially your working so how many hours you play a day
I don't see it simply about finishing the games though. I can try a bunch of games I never would have otherwise touched due to the price tag. Even then, if I finish one game every two or three months it would still be like paying $20 to $30 for the game which is a decent deal even if I had been able to find games on sale somewhere else.

If you buy like FIFA 23 on Xbox one can you download the game if you use the same Microsoft account on pc??
Are you subscribed to Game Pass? What are your thoughts?
I'm not, but my best friend is. The first time I saw it two friends were talking about games "Have you played [this and that] yet?", "No", "It's on GamePass" He literally downloads it while they're talking and it's ready to play. It like saying you like a movie on Netflix and your friend has Netflix so they can watch it right now.
If I did ever subscribe it might just be for a month at a time randomly. I'd use it like a Demo service or to play/beat games I'd never buy otherwise. I also heard while you have the service you can get discounts on all games on the service, so if you end up liking one you can buy it for cheaper, own it, and cancel the service.

Hello I just want to ask, so for example if I buy this game pass for 1 dollar, can I cancel my subscription after 1 month and they not gonna take more money (if I don't like the service). or are there like 3 months 6 months 12 months concracts? and if you cancel you still have to pay until those 3-6-12 months will end? Also, I've seen some comments saying that if you start playing a game and then the game is taken out of the game pass or you cancel your subscription the progress that you made in that game will be gone? cause for me I really want to try out forza 4. I've been waiting for steam to give a deal to it so I can buy it for less than 60 dollars. and if I buy it later on steam is it possible to transfer the progress that I've done in the game pass account ?
The sub is month to month, so cancel anytime. So $1 for one month is all you will pay if you cancel before it renews. If you let it renew, I think it will only be one month, not a larger contract. As for progress in games, it might vary on a game by game basis, but i doubt transferring progress to Steam would work.

Just joined. Absolutely great. The ONLY downside I'd say is the lack of third party controller support (like Steam has), meaning you basically can only use certified Microsoft controllers that work with your PC.
any controller with x-input should work. i have been using cheap Chinese wireless controllers (zhidong brand) for 2--3 years now and works on all game pass (including xcloud). PC reads them as xbox 360 controllers.

You can get 3 years for a dollar. Just preload your account with xbox live. The max is 3 years. When you pay the dollar it converts it to game pass.
@Sporke when you first sign up for game pass ultimate you only have to pay a dollar for the first month. However they have a conversion ratio for Xbox live gold it 1:1. So Xbox game pass ultimate comes with Xbox live, game pass for PC and console, xcloud and ea play. So let's do some math, game pass ultimate is $15 a month. $15 * 12 = $180 a year. If you have Xbox live you can convert the remaining Xbox live into game pass ultimate months. So let's say you had seven months of Xbox live left and then you convert it to game pass ultimate so you have seven months left plus they give you an extra month for free so you now have 8 months of game pass ultimate. So if you buy three 12-month Xbox live then you can get 36 months of game pass ultimate for the same price as one year of game pass ultimate.
I was just gunna mention this. (link below). its what sold me on buying an xbox one X in 2020 lol last game console I owned was the orig xbox. They also added EA games if interested. The Ultimate game pass works for both console and PC. I bought Costco xbox live 2 and 1 yr cards with $1 promo cost me a total of $160.04 not bad for 3 years of game library and live. Just make sure you invest in a 5TB or larger external HDD and upgrade your internet band width. You're gunna need it! lol

@@juanalvarado7794 no, it's still active. Just put gold on your account before you do the promotional rate for the first time. The conversions rate you quoted are post-joining
is it worth it if you play games for only a couple hours per week? (5-8)
is it a cloud platform, like google stadia?
(like you don't need good hardware, to run this games cause they run on cloud)
No. You download and run the full games. Although if you subscribe to the "ultimate" version you do get access to cloud streaming of games but only on you Android phone, not to the pc.
Its more like steam (but instead of buying you can download the library )
game pass blows my mind. you get, Doom Eternal, Alien Isolation, RE7 Biohazard, Dishonored 2, Dead by Daylight, couple of Final Fantasy games, Forza Horizon 4, Fallout 76, dozen of Halo series games, Machinarium, Minecraft Dungeons, Wolfenstien Young blood, and the most mind blowing games you can get with this cheap game pass are( I still don't believe) Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Medium, CONTROL, Man of Medan (!!!), and many more for just not even half the price of a single game on other stores
Hey wanted to ask that is it important to buy xbox for buying PC game pass ??
The thing is - Game Pass is filled with shovelware - and not every game you want is going to be on Game Pass. So while you spend $120 a year - you may only like 3 or 4 out of the current titles and may not like any more for a while. Thus, you pay $240-$360 over 3 years, not really having the AAA titles you actually desire and only maybe liking 3-4 in those years. Thus - your budget over 3 years is blown and the AAA titles that come out for those 3 years (which is more likely) is gone by your wayside. Not to mention that the price per month will inevitably increase just like Netflix. And ever wonder how you pay for Netflix every month yet you spend more time scrolling and searching for something to watch rather than watching? It's a big placebo effect tricking you into thinking you're getting a good deal, but in actuality, you're not. You're being fed old games to distract you from demanding (and financing) good titles that are actually worthwhile.
But you don't need a whole year to finish three games you found interesting you could just purchase a 3 months subscription and that will make it. And whenever you find any game interesting you just purchase a month sub. atleats that's what I do
Do you get to keep the games after the month is over tho
?
Nope
Is there separate library of games for xbox and pc ?
Yes, but with lots of overlap.
I was member since launch day. It just felt like a ‘no-brainer’ for 4.95/month, which is crazy. Even one game every couple of months playable!!
is it not 10$ a month?
It’s gone up since sept 2020, I think. But still a good value.
@@pcgamerftw821 the subscription launched back in 2017.
@@Stealthful_ I think I subscribed to it as soon as it was launched - don’t remember that date though
this sounds better than the Humble Bundle Subscription
It really is. Especially because it includes ea play for free. It’s probably the best subscription service currently available, for basically any medium.
@@IAmAnEvilTaco EA play is only included with the $15/month Gamepass. Frankly, you'd be better off paying $10 a month for Gamepass basic and spending $5 a month over at origin for EA Play - as you get access to additional third-party games on origin that you don't get when you get EA Play through xBox or Steam.
Is the xbox gamepass on pc the Xbox version ported to pc or do you get the actual pc game. I swear I tried it one time and snowrunner looked terrible on the pc gamepass so I bought it on sale from steam and it looked tremendous I don't know if gamepass for pc is the actual pc games help me out
Question: Do XBOX Game Pass work on a Max pc?
I can't stop looking at your fuzzy mic cover that keeps popping up to say hi. I think it would be more fun if you added googly eyes to it. Just say'n. Oh and agree on the games pass.
Lol. This was one of my very early videos and I wasn't quite as 'pro' with my mic placement. It sat there with like 20 views for weeks and then suddenly started getting more once my channel picked up steam.
I got the pass but I don’t think my laptop is powerful enough for some of the newer games
Same, I’m in the beginning stages of my first PC build since I was 7
then i guess Xclout is your next option.
Love your channel. I hope it will grow :-)
How does game pass work? Do I download the games or stream them?
Download. Although the Ultimate version comes with a cloud streaming beta for Android phones.
GOT 3 MONTHS FOR 1 DOLLAR
Hiw could you ever get tired of forza horizon 4
Is this a video game streaming service or do the games use the hardware of your pc to run?
They use the hardware of your pc to run. But if you get the Ultimate version it also has streaming to Android phones.
What’s the difference between game pass for PC and Xbox game pass ultimate
