LFX31925ST/00 and what a nightmare after 2 compressor replacement in 6 and a half years we are done with it. Hope the GE last longer.

Nicely done review. Just had the exact refrigerator installed today. Still not happy with most companies making you download the owners manual from their website. I'm OK doing that, but I'm guessing that there are a lot of older customers that have to call their kids to download it and mail it to them!!

I bought this fridge from Home Depot 14months ago and loved it. Unforntunately the freezer and ice maker has stopped working and the Ge Technician has been out 5 times within the last 6 weeks and not been able to repair it. Will be on the phone with GE tomorrow requesting a replacement.
Love mine. But it was deceptively huge. They had to take my front door off the hinges and the handles off the fridge to get it in the house. We keep our milk and juices in the pop out door instead of the condiments. Great video, thanks for taking the time. ❤

We had this unit for almost three years, the freezer stop working three times and we were able to fix it the first and second time. But third time no luck, called to the warranty company and they came and checked the guy said the compressor make noise like there is water in it and I NEVER heard of it in my 10 years of experience. He tried to fix it but done more damage and the fridge part broke too. GE reached to us and after long conversation they refund us and haul away the old broken fridge. Now, we ordered another one from GE and hopefully that one keep up.

I can relate to the Paw Patrol cup.....we have the same ones. Most of these modern fridges fail in just a few short years so it's a crap shoot; in the market to replace my Kenmore Elite after the 2nd compressor failure in 6 1/2 years.

Great review. Have this exact one being delivered tomorrow. Replacing a Kenmore Elite POS that only lasted 6 years (internal freon leak with many other problems). Have you had any problems so far?

I have had top end GE refrigerators in my new home I had built in 2007. The third GE just went out a couple days ago. The repairman told me yesterday that my compressor was bad on a 4 year old refrigerator and the repair would cost between $1400 and $1800. That is the end of my GE relationship. I also replaced my G E microwave 3 years ago. Good Luck.

If it's a Profile series refrigerator, it should have a 5 years warranty on the compressor and other sealed components. Check your warranty info.
My 2 years old Profile, as shown in this video had the evaporator defrost control fail. GE is going to do a warranty repair.
Can you share if your ice dispenser is slow in dispensing ice? I have this same fridge and in feel like it dispenses ice very slow? When I’m wanting ice… ice never constantly comes out. It shoots ice and then nothing, then shoots ice then nothing… over and over. So I find myself standing there for a while waiting to fill my cup with ice. I’d greatly appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
Hello! Quick question. Does your dispenser light turn on when it senses motion, even if you have the dispenser light turned off? Im trying to find others with this fridge because im stuck in a pickle. My first profile fridge would turn the dispenser light on whenever it sensed motion, even though I had the “light” setting turned off. I had my fridge replaced because it came with a defective freezer door. This new fridge doesn’t turn on the dispenser light when it senses motion. Hope I’m making sense! Thanks!

And it’s only two years old.
The ice bucket is very large makes 5 pounds of ice. When we have guest over we make ice bags in advance and keep in freezer.
We bought one 2 years ago. Two cons. !: not enough cold water production. After one 11 oz glass, the cold water rapidly runs out. So, if you want more than a glass of cold water, without having to add ice, you will be unhappy. 2: The open door warning sound goes off occasionally. I had the service guy visit. He said it was a common problem.
Regarding reliability. Our one lost temperature control yesterday, stopped producing ice and the fridge stopped cooling. The evaporator iced up because the unit stopped defrosting. We have a service call all coming soon. One good thing though is the Profile series has a 5 years warranty on sealed components such as the compressor, evaporator and condenser.
Our fix for ice shortage for party etc. we keep a large bin in freezer when we need extra ice. It's pretty easy to dump the ice and make more.
I have kids so that's not an option for us with the amount of food we have to store. We buy a big bag and store it in a cooler. Thanks for supporting the channel!
How far does the deli drawer (the one you put all the beers and soda cans) pull out? to get a drink in the soda can bin from the back i have to remove the front row and it’s so annoying. is this drawer adjustable to pull out further?
we just installed a similar unit, I think this one is newer, though the work on our house caused us to only just set up our kitchen, anyway, I notice you hold the handle to close the doors... do they not close on their own if you just push it and turn away? This is driving me nuts. But I haven't ever had a fridge where the doors don't close on their own if you help them along with your arm or body as you walk away..
Just curious if anyone knows if there are GE or any aftermarket options available to replace at least bottom two left door bins to have them be deeper? Seems like they could be and you would still be able to close door with no issue as the right side bins are deeper. The bins on the left side are very limited in capacity. Even more so than we thought when we saw it on display. Only other concern is doors seem a bit heavy/stiff to close. Does anyone have experience with them loosening up? Like the autofill feature and the backlit panel.

I just had this fridge installed a few weeks ago, the “flex drawer” items contain to freeze. I have used all 4 settings including the wine temp @ 46deg, still freezing water bottles and froze meat and cheese at any temp. GE tech support advised lining the drawer with paper towel, which we did and no change. Tech is scheduled to be here Friday. I will provide an update. I love this fridge otherwise, but the flex drawer is useless to me at this time. Cheers.

The app is "Smart HQ". You should find step by step instructions on the to get it connected once you've registered and created an account. Hope that helps!
Is it loud when the ice dumps?
I have had this exact fridge for about 2 years now. The ice maker quit working immediately after the warranty ran out, and it will cost hundreds (at least 300-500) to repair it. Also, I have no idea how the wifi works or what it can do. I managed to load some GE app that connected to it, but it would not respond or do anything. I was attempting to try and find some way to RESET the ice maker as there seems to be no way to do that. The only other problem that irked me to no end is the front 1/2 door that I thought was a great idea. Unless you opened the half door, close it, and then open the full door and close it, then the alarm would start going off after 2-3 minutes. So you would have to get back up from your meal and go thru that entire process to get it to shut up. I haven't used the half door in over a year now. I had a Samsung that always supplied plenty of ice that we sold and bought this thing. I love the middle drawer, so there's that, and it stores a lot of stuff so there's never a problem with storage, but I wish I had my Samsung back (that I sold for only $500 and paid over $3000 for this one). If anyone knows an APP that would allow the wifi to control anything, I would like to know that info. Also, if you know how to reset the ice maker, that would help too. I've tried turning it off, moving the arm back 3 times and turning it back on numerous times, but nothing works.
Has anyone else had an issue with their freezer pull out drawer being loud? The drawer comes off the tracks when being pulled out.

@@614inc We love how the door pockets swing separately since we use a lot of taller items. These taller items often break other bins once full and people try to "pry" or tip said tall items out. Just for example, put a 2 L bottle in the "condement" door as you call it. I feel condiments would fit much better in the tiny ice maker side bins.
The doors that u have condiments in are for gallons both shelves are that’s the whole idea for easy access
The drawers do fit gallons, but they are also intended for whatever you grab the most frequently which for my family is condiments. Thank you for supporting the channel!

So the plastic stuck between the seams can’t be removed. I’ve been trying for weeks. I’m also waiting for delivery guys to pick up this fridge it won’t cool, fridge is at 41*. I close one French door the other pops open not a good seal. Can’t wait to get a different fridge. The Delivery man said whirlpool also had tons of complaints from customers about plastic left in seams for customers to remove they finally corrected it. Guess GE is behind the ball on this one. If delivery guys won’t remove plastic I will send new fridge back as well.

Hi! Just got our 2nd one installed a few hours ago (1st one wasn’t cooling even after 24 hours) and ours is loud and vibrating. Almost feels like the bass of a movie theater. Looks like we’ll be just full on returning it.

The backsplash on the water bin looks all scratched?
The plastic portion you push to actually dispense ice and water does show wear from cups. I just lots of metal tumbler glasses so mine probably gets abused more than normal, but the back stainless portion has no scratches. It doesn't receive any physical contact. Just just be the camera.
I noticed that immediately! I'm getting this refrigerator delivered this week and I'm wondering if there's something I can adhere to the plastic panel to avoid that damage. It makes the fridge look yucky... 🤔

How is temperature holding this days, I saw your setting on 35 degrees, is food cold enough, recommend setting is 37
Temperature is just fine. We tend to pack our refrigerator with food and drinks and so opted to go with a cooler setting. Never had any freezing issues or anything to complain about. The only knock on the unit I have to date is that the ice maker failed almost exactly after 1 Year but it was replaced under warranty.

I feel like you're missing SOME of the point on opening the "condement door" and it goes right in hand with the swinging tray above it. I dunno about you but sometimes those compartments are a bit tall to get a bottle out of, and the fact that they can be swung out separately.elomnates that. I hate when I hit the shelf abov, and have seen a lot of broken plastic because people try to pull the bottles out at an angle to get them out.

How is the refrigerator so far, i just canceled my order at bestbuy for a LG, too many issues I hate to spend 3k and for it break later, do you recommend the ge profile or any other brand
I have had it for over a year and we still love it. No issues. Aside from GE profile I recommend GE Cafe, LG & LG Studio as well as KitchenAid. Covid has really affected the quality of appliances that are being manufactured right now across the board in my opinion. Best of luck and thanks for supporting the channel!
Great review!! Please stay away from LG mine just stopped cooling after only three years with their compressor dying due to poor quality and design. Manufacturer Warranty will only cover the part but I’m on the hook for $1200 in labor which is half what I paid for it.

This model only holds about 3.8lbs of ice and only makes about 3.4-ish pounds of ice per day. Coming from my existing fridge that makes 10lbs of ice per day, I'm concerned about running out of ice. Does anyone who owns this fridge find themselves running out of ice frequently, especially with kids?
I don’t own one as of yet (watching multiple reviews prior to making that purchase). That said, from the videos that I’ve watched thus far, many ppl utilize an extra ice bin which they house on the top shelf of the bottom freezer to store extra ice cubes from their door’s ice machine.
I keep a 2 gallon ziplock freezer bag full of ice…just in the event we need more ice than the ice machine can produce. But really haven’t had to use it.
How many air Jordans can fit in a refrigerator?
Mine holds 15 pairs, I’m size 10 …… keeps them looking cool and fresh.

After 17 years, I have an LG side by side. Nothing really hi-tech about my LG.
My questions are as follows:
1. I eat alot of BlueBell half gallon ice-cream. Is that middle drawer large enough to hold 4 half gallons?
2. For the dual evaporators....although noise levels are relative, have u found the GE to be excessively loud for when the compressor kicks on or just in general loud?
3. Also, for the dual evaporators...have you found that your fresh fruits and vegetables have lasted longer? Not sure if u upgraded from a single compressor, single evaporator to the GE...
4. Will the GE fit through a standard door on a home? I think someone mentioned that it was larger than they expected.
In either case, any info that u can share from your experience would be great.
I have not had to buy a fridge in 17 years so I am doing my best to get the purchase right.

Just purchased this fridge. Only problem so far is the app to use with Wi-Fi has been changed as of two months ago, according to GE TECH SUPPORT. The The manual is outdated needs to be updated. You need the SMART HQ APP . Having problems pairing device with iPhone 12 iOS 15.5. I have a tech support ticket on file. Waiting for response back. Other than that like Fridge!

Let’s say your ice maker is full, how many of those yeti cups of ice can you fill all at once before it empty out?
I've never actually tried but I would guess 3 to 4. It's definitely not a large ice bin.
How to unlock the door panel on door
There is a trigger/button, or whatever you want to refer to it as, on the backside of the main door handle. When you push the trigger and pull the handle only the smaller door in door feature opens. Thanks for supporting the channel.

Why not put milk jug in right quick access door?
You can if you choose. We dont drink a lot of milk so we prefer to put condiments over there instead because we use them more often.
