- on Nashville Now with host Ralph Emery, some of the cast of the Andy Griffith Show with musical acts the Dillards as the Darlings.
Andy Griffith show.....Greatest show that was ever on American television!
Awww!!! Nice people all of them and so talented!!
I love The Dillards.
RIP Don, George, Hal, and Jack........and God bless Betty, who's still with us at 90
I loved that show
So glad that I came across this, Andy Griffith has always been one of my favorite shows as a young girl and still is as a young woman! I love all the cast members!!!
Excellent performance!
I wish that I could have been there!!!!!!!!
This program was very good as far as the performers go. I hadn't seen Jack in anything else but TAGS. It was good to see him and Hal Smith again.
Ralph left a lot to be desired. It looked like his was just thrown into this with now preparation at all.
Early 60's TV...can't beat it !!!
thank you so much for posting these videos.
This show aired on Sept. 18, 1991
5 Emmys Don Knotts,u rock
My fa!you went to Mr.Wendy's show back in the day it was wonderful, everyone there was so friendly and we were able to meet Andy Andrews. What a wonderful family program,I truly miss it.
Ahhh Pa that one makes me cry.
Cool 😎
This show was absolute gold up until it went to color and Barney left. Very surprised it aired as long as it did afterwards.
I agree. I bought the first 5 seasons. Didn't like the show after Barney left.
I wish they hadn't cut out Tom T. Hall. Wonderful writer and singer.
The whole cast was the best! Sure miss those days. It sure ain't May berry any more, so sad. Don't even watch network Tv anymore, as most show's are nothing but trash. My kids grew up watching this and others like, as we had a video library. No youtube yet lol. A remember when the networks weren't racing too the bottom of the barrel. Sad, will never turn on network TV again.
This episode originally aired in 1985.
1991, actually.
@@terryc.3390 Why didn't Andy appear on this show?
Originally Aired 18 September 1991
How was Tom T Hall connected to the Andy Griffith show?
If anyone has Tom T. Hall's cut out parts I'd love to see them.
Who's the guy who got cut off.
Where was Andy?
where Andy
Thelma looks a little disinterested or depressed at 5:06. And she should have been sitting next to Don Knotts wtf
Way to go goober
What year was this????
I know that the program "Nashville Now" aired between 1983 and 1993. Does anyone know what year this Mayberry reunion episode aired?
I miss the old country music TNN that changed formats in 2000.
This is before the "Return to Mayberry" movie, which was 1986; so that narrows it down a bit.
1991
Thelma Lou actually still looked pretty hot.
Now she doesn't look that good but old age catches up to everybody. But she is 90.
1991
Don't be touchy just be more talented
That last song by The Dillards/Darlin's was there any vocals for that song and what was the name of that song?
They don't say.
“Doug’s Tune” and no, no lyrics
I believe it's "Dud's Tune", as in Dud Wash, Charlene's husband.
@@BillHooven You know, there was 2 of the "Dillards" that played here in Branson. I know one of them was the one with crossed eyes. Not sure if they are still around or not or even alive.
Man.. Thelma at the far end of the couch (@ 5:00 min mark).. has her body turned away from the cast.. her arm propping up her head.. and she looks about as interested in this interview as a possum does when people walk by (playin' dead).. LOL! What's her problem? Late night? LOL!
She was actually a very shy person in real life. It is amazing that she chose to be an actress. She is a very sweet woman in real life and lives in Mt Airy North Carolina. She even works some for the Andy Griffith Museum.
This whole thing was horrible

I liked it.
