Well said.
I'm deeply touched when he told his architects that you are building this house for my neighbors, not me.... this is the thinking of selfless person who just not only cares his family but also the need of his neighbors and community. Beautiful!
You talk like he share his swimming pool and yards with neighbours
Who knows..., maybe his neighbours are welcomed for swims
@@zerolimit6030 lol literally every landed property in that area has a swimming pool. Yes, every single fking one.
@@zerolimit6030 I hope that's what he meant. I have a bunch of questions popping in my head when he was talking about that. Something just doesn't add up.
Also, the first thing that came to my head during that part of the video was "Sir, I'm sure your neighbors have better things to do than to admire your house." No disrespect to him or anything, but that's my immediate reaction.
It's rare to see a rich person wanting to share his wealth with his brothers and living together. Most of the time, a person gets rich and distance away from their less well-to-do family members.
Sometimes it's better to distance yourself from family. Not everyone has family they get along with
Problem generally only comes when their children get married and have kids.
But they all run the business so they're all rich.
Believe me his lucky that he has siblings that are willing to cooperate, not greedy and envious.
Their parents thought them well.

If you know anything about Singapore at all, you would know how lowly a pig farmer is in terms of social ranking. And here's a wealthy man not ashamed to talk about his humble social background. Great humility.
I love how he honors his father's dream, to live in a big house with the whole family! 😊😔❤️ It's my mother's wish as well (before she passed) to be together or to be in one compound with the whole fam. Now it's my dream too to own a huge land one day, where my whole family/siblings can be neighbours and we can gather anytime we'd like to. For now, we live far from each other and visiting them is not that accessible.. I hope one day, I get to realise this dream too❤️.
I understand the the spaciousness in this house. Because there's 3 generations staying there. Also it's a smart thing to do. When staying in under the same roof, you need your own personal space. To avoid conflict. If you have this kind of money you don't worry about cleaning ever. You have people doing that for you. And I appreciate the whole asthethic of the house. It's Modern but still alot of Chinese touches to it.
Wow. .I wanted to see more of that. What I really thought was sweet was the sense of nostalgia he put building his home, He seems so proud of who he is and where he came from, And he makes sure he doesn't forget that every step of the way.
Someone doesn't need to be donating a huge amount of money all the time to be a kind rich person.
