Have the times really changed? The quality of the film and the cars on the road is just about all I notice different. The fire trucks and gear the firemen are wearing look pretty much the same today ........and of course Brooklyn is still full of 100 year old fire trap houses just like the one in this video.
@@MrScottie68 Well said MrScottie I agree the basic technique and equipment used to fight fires in the same 100+ year old multiple dwelling is for the most Part the same , just the civilians clothing styles & cars have changed for the most part ☘️👍🏼
Instantly Recognized the area, Cropsey Avenue and Bay 50th right off the Mini Bridge before the belt parkway ramp. Original fire building is still around. Backround note the units responding in were 168 with behind it I would guess to be the 42 and 172.
Those firemen are so brave to get into a building looking for people, risking their lives. This video was shot 9 years and a half before 9 11. Some of the firemen on the scene died that day.
It`s crazy how times have changed. Great video.

Interior attack did a great job snuffing this one out...near Coney Island ?
Just north - Bath Beach
My God! Didn't they all die from the steam? Nope, the whole "
steam thing" is way over done.
You can't maintain water vapor at a dangerous temperature if you eliminate the heat source. i.e. Flames!

The FDNY hasn't gotten any better! Forever to get water on the burning stuff.
Failed the test ? So sorry
@@DC-ih8bv How old are you, 10?
@@DC-ih8bv No it’s true. He failed the test and not even in the fire service. He’s an old man who lives in CT tinkering with cars. He’s pathetic.
Didn’t seem to me that it took too long.
@@derfregas5968 Well that's because that wasn't your property.
