  • In this episode with Project Harold, we work on tearing down the front end in order to install new inner fenders and open things up for upcoming work on the brakes, radiator and valve covers.
We'll be installing new inner fenders from Summit Racing as well as new hood hinges from CJ Pony Parts for our 1972 Chevy C10.

Hey Anthony. Thanks for watching and sharing. We appreciate it and glad the video helped with your build. What all are you doing to your 69?

If you have Harold then the one I'm currently working on absolutely has to be Kumar...🤣 Can't wait to see where you two take this truck! Talk about mission creep...🤣🤣🤣

Nice video. My love of short cuts would make this a very stressful project for me. You always take the scenic route i.e. your love of powder coating. I admire your determination to get it perfect. See you next time.

Thanks Dad for watching and sharing. You may take shortcuts on some things but you never do it half ass. I learned that from you and just add more to it (that comes at a cost most of the time. Lol). This truck won't be perfect by any means but it will be better than it was.

“Short project” lol we will see 😅I’m pretty sure we are all going to fall in love with this truck when it’s finished…..

My problem is I get mid project and pick up 2 more projects. I have been trying to narrow my focus lately. Yay for new parts, and yay for upgrades!

Hi Evan. 100% understand that. I get that way as well....this truck is a perfect example of that. More to come with it. Thank you for watching and sharing.

If it doesn’t fit, you must not quit.

Are the outter fenders aftermarket? If so what brand and did they fit good?

HI and thank you for watching. We appreciate it. Yes, these are aftermarket and came on the truck already when I bought so unfortunately I don't have the info as to where he bought them. I would say they fit pretty good but since I don't have the OEM, I don't have a reference for them. Our bed sides came from Key Parts and they appear to fit really well. Wish I had more info for you.

@@SpiritedWrenchers thanks for the reply. I'm currently working on building my 72 K20. I need fenders and so on. Everytime I fine original parts, they're all crusty and flakey with rust. It causes me to want to go with new production parts.

@zfdmax our pleasure. Sounds like a great project you have. I 100% agree on the challenge with going aftermarket vs keeping original. Our bed sides had bad cancer around the wheel wells. When I was quoted a price to weld in patch panels and it was the same as buying new, it was a no brainer. Plus I had trouble finding anyone that wanted to do it. Lol. I can weld basic stuff but not quite at bodywork level yet. If you like sharing pics of your project, shoot some pics to our email. I love seeing other builds, especially those that follow along in ours. Cheers.
