Well Dam! These things are massive 💁🏻‍♂️ so many sounds and options from 2 little boxes. As with the IK Multimedia software you can get any sound you like if you spend the time to play and get the settings. Well impressed

@@TSFAHTPS is there an episode where you talk about how you acquired it or found it? Or is there any story behind it? One of my favorite builders currently.

I just got my X Space yesterday, I Also own the Strymon Bigsky and this X-Space holds right with the Bigsky, some algorithms are way better! $179 cheaper too!

Thank you for the video!!! This pedals sound great. Maybe I would especially be interested in listening to the reverbs in stereo, and everything else is appreciated 😊

Ok things would like to know (1) the pedals have amplitube at the top do they somehow interface with Amplitube directly or are they just promoting another product? (2) You talked effects then went through presets. I assume that you can make your own presets to override the defaults. Can you show us how and rename them. (3) you showed us it as an interface can you just use it as an interface (say for Amplitube) and then use the pedal effects on top? I assume yes

They both sound really good to me, love the colour of the X-Space, the functionality, parameter controls and user friendliness seems really good, plenty of different types of drives and verbs in each so that surely you can edit and create pretty much any drive or reverb tones you need. Seems fairly good value @ £300 in UK for what you get with the built in Cab sim and audio interface.
Obviously won’t be for everyone cos they’re digital which doesn’t bother me but the Analogheadz won’t like them cos they’re digital and you can’t beat that analog tone, and yeah I agree the analog tone with pedals gives you that lush warm tone compared with digital, but for me when recording the edit ability and cleanliness of signal with digital gives me a much better and preferred signal quality thus giving a cleaner recording quality and overall cleaner mix to work with, but that’s just me I get the people who love the analog thing and that’s is their own personal choice which is cool with me.
Thanks Kabor for your first impressions demo it’s much appreciated and gives me the insight and knowledge of new gear to hit the market and that I usually want to buy most things to add to my studio and guitar setup.
I can’t wait to hear the X-Vibe modulation pedal as I think this could be the one I possibly invest in first. Cheers Stephen

Two thumbs up...one for each..they sound great. Kinda digging on the blue the most here, just I don't need (or want), another reverb pedal currently.
But, who knows in the future...so many options with this. 😎

I like them both quite a bit. The design is a little reminiscent of Strymon, but definitely not a rip-off.
Pretty reasonable pricing too (looks like they offer bundle options).
I'd like to see a shootout against similarly, and slightly more expensive pedals, that do about the same things.
Happy early Halloween! Not sure how popular it is down there, but I'm a horror nerd, so it's my favorite holiday...

Can you run this as a preamp in other words directly into the power amp? I have a vht252 Poweramp and I broke my rack preamp so all I have is pedals and I'm using my rev G3 to the Left channel but I'm looking at another pedal on the right channel such as the one your reviewing, X drive.

As an Amplitube 5 user, I really have no idea what the point of these things are. A small subset of Amplitube 5 but locked into this hardware. It seems that the IO Stomp and a cheap tablet (old Surface Pro or the like) would be a far better option.

Well surely this is much better for gigging musicians you don’t want carrying around tablets to use on stage in their guitar rig. This can just act like a regular pedal.

Like all digital pedals they are virtually computers made for a niche use. Like computers each generation gives us more for less. We have had 3 generations in 12 years of improved chips needed for these pedals. The sounds created 12 years ago are very acceptable. Each new chip makes it's predecessor cheaper. On one hand we can get impressive sounding gear at reasonable prices using these older but very 'musical' chips. In this case $300.00 USD. But like all computers they have a built in redundancy and a frighteningly poor resale value. Repairs are virtually impractical. Labor, parts and very long turn around times are very pricey. I have 73 pedals and a few digitally based. All have been trouble free, except the digital pedals. I have a couple of dirt pedals that are over 10 years old and still going strong and have increased in value. Only yesterday I had chain of 17 pedals go dead. I had to check out 17 pedals and 18 cables to find the problem. It was digital Reverb at the very end of the chain. The solution was literally a reboot of what passes as it's operating system. It took about 45 minutes for troubleshooting and repair. It ruined a rehearsal. Thank god it was not a gig!!!
