Just an fyi to all, The lane centering feature (which assists you with steering, you still need to touch the steering wheel) is not included in Ford Copilot 360 base feature in Maverick, it comes only in Lariat trim only as addon with Lariat Lux package. You cannot get it in XL and XLT models. Hope this helps
I got 2023 lariat hybrid, with the co pilot 360. I know now the assist version it's not standard. You have to pay extra for it
Errrr... wrong. My 2022 Maverick XLT with Co-Pilot 360 does lane keeping. It must be turned on - there are three options in the menu and the default is alert only (the other options are centering only and alert+centering. I think you have confused lane keeping with the availability of adaptive cruise control - which is only available in the Lariat; the XLT's cruise control is non-adaptive.
@@ontheroadwithralph1530lane keeping is different from Lane centering. You're wrong and the above comment is correct. Lane centering is an add on while lane keeping is included in copilot 360

You need to drive my GMC Denali pickup with Super Cruise. It passes people, then signals etc, best yet, you do not have to continually touch the steering wheel EVER

My xlt hybrid with copilot is in transit and should be delivered in may. Finally a video that show the copilot in action. I was wonder how the copilot would react if an animal or something just pop in front of you.. or you are leading and the light turns orange and then red.. is it going to slow down and stop?
Hi Reef. Congrats on your Maverick order! It will not slow down or stop for changing traffic lights only other vehicles and large objects in your path. I don't imagine it will do much in most cases to avoid an animal that may dart in front of the vehicle. Some higher end self driving vehicles currently on the market will offer pedestrian avoidance.
Keep in mind the XLT doesn’t have radar cruise or lane centering like the Lariat in the video, it only has lane keeping (will bounce between lines)
Thanks for the Maverick adaptive cruise and lane centering demo! Will this system also work in stop and go traffic? Also, similar to KIA/Hyundai, could the lane centering work even when adaptive cruise is turned off?
Do you think The Lidar unit on the grill that works the adaptive cruise control, would cause the vehicle to break if a deer ran in front of the car?
hey Guys. Im from Brazil and here we just have fx4 lariat and hybrid versions. If Im not wrong, these features are hidden on the menu and to be available, you need to have odbii devices and app. Is this correct?

My maverick arrives in roughly 21-26 days. Does the lane assistance come with 360? I got 360 but the XL doesn’t have cruise control
it does have the lane keep feature, even on the XL, but...in the couple times i've tried it, its a bit jerky when it hits the edge of the lane
The radar cruise allows vehicle to slow down and speed back up to the set speed which requires cruise. The lane keep assist should be independent but I would check with your dealer to be 100% sure. Congrats on your Maverick order. I hope you enjoy it!
When the system does auto brake do the rear brake lights turn on?
Does the 360 copilot system use front sensors for parking?
Hi Steve it uses sensors, a camera and the flat plate in the in the grill for speed control and lane keep but does not assist in parking. Thank you for your question.

This is a Lariat with the Lariat luxury package and first edition package.
While it stop for red lights?
No, it paces the vehicles ahead. Adaptive cruise. It breaks even they break it stops when they stop it speeds up....etc.
