I understand, it's important to enjoy the moment rather than try to capture it. But on the flip side, if the person had not captured this performance, we wouldn't have been able to view and comment on it. Some people do it to share an experience, and I am grateful.
1:01 Brian: Alright, now that the keyboard is working let me just find a sound here... Pat: *starts counting off song* Brian: No no no not yet *band starts playing* Brian: fucc
They've played this one recently (2023-ish) with other female guests and none of them can really compare to Rachel - they sound awful quite honestly. She sounds amazing here. Also, Brian was a real trooper.
A lot of people are commenting on the people holding up their cameras and phones. I get where they're coming from. Bob Mould has a great story about how he told a kid at a concert, very politely, I might add NOT to do that. It ruins the moment, so to speak. HOWEVER...considering that Weezer oh-so-rarely plays this incredible song, I can sympathize with wanting to own a piece of rare Weezer footage.
Rachel Haden on vox, Pat behind the drums again, the band enjoying themselves on stage- Please release a Memories DVD and go back to the classic lineup with Pat behind the kit where he belongs. This show helps demonstrate how the four man lineup is the best for Weezer, and the added treat of Rachel Haden's beautiful vocals make this a trip down memory lane worth taking. If you want to talk epic, if the four member lineup returns and the songwriting is kept within the band, the next album and to
Subscriber #6! Thanks for posting this! Hope it was awesome! I saw them live twice but they didn't perform this one. Love this song! And Weezer! :) have an awesome day!

This is exactly the way I feel about it. I've actually relived this song a countless number of times due to the recording of it.
if you capture the moment you can enjoy the moment again multiple times in the future (it wont be the same)
Rachel and Rivers' vocals sound flawless
except for that they got the lyrics wrong but still they sound as good as they did the first time they performed this song

Josh Marland Ahahahhaha I fucking loved it
Pat was like "Fuck it, Brian. You just won't be on this song."
I want that lighted "W" sign when they're done touring.
It's funny when rivers starts marking time with his feet at about 3:02 to try to get Pat back on the beat after Pat goofed it a bit
So sick. One of my favorite Weezer songs :)
Poor Brian

the song tells you about him being in her eyes, tears, blood, & ears, she sings about this guy that's she likes and he's in her mind.
That is so tight that they got Rachel back for this one - SO awesome! Only thing missing is Matt
