I don’t think it’s their fees as much as it’s their arbitration of the market price. They don’t actually give the fair market value when you do a “market” purchase. And the limit orders take so long to execute, and you lose the opportunity on the price you want.
Same thing Think or Swim did with S&P500 Futures.. they would quote a tick above or below the market depending on the type of order you're entering plus the usual futures trading fees... Slippage, fees, virtually the same thing :( @@DrBerns

Question about Tangem:
How does the hardware wallet key generation process not create a seed phrase on the internet? Doesn’t it somehow have to exist on the internet in order to work? Not sure why it’s so much more secure than the 12 word, since it still has to be generated by a machine, and make a wallet available online.
Maybe I just don’t fully understand how a wallet is made, and the vulnerability
Because it’s not a literal seed phrase that gets generated but a private key that gets sent to the cards chip. It’s more secured since no seed phrase can be seen not even by you. Mind you as precaution I use tangem and onekey to split how much I hold between the two.
Thanks for the video. Can you explain a bit why it’s better to store Kaspa “cold” on Tangem instead of keeping it directly in Uphold?
You don’t have to use tangem but it is better than uphold. Reason is coins left on exchanges are not actually yours. They have complete control over your funds. When you put them on a cold storage device you now own your coins and have the keys to move them around.

That’s really up to you mate and your goals. No one knows for sure where kaspa is going.
Hello did you use the computer to copy and paste kaspa from tangem wallet to uphold or can you do it from the phone?

@KaspaSilver ok that part confuses me. My tangem account is on my phone, so I will be using both tangem and uphold from the same source. How do I copy and paste from my phone from tangem to uphold? Can I copy and paste it to my email and then enter it into uphold that way? Also you took a picture of it to send it back to uphold so to do that I would need the computer, because if everything is done from the phone how can I take the picture?

Are there any benefits to converting all your crypto to USD instead of sending it to the bank account? I always thought about this when it was time to sell all my cryptos.
Not really if you sell to usd or even just swap for another crypto in the U.S. it’s considered a profit taking event and you will owe taxes. I’ll never sell all my crypto though. I only hold btc and kas and want the least amount of usd possible that’s sitting doing nothing in a bank. Selling will be for actual necessity not just mindless spending on material things. Make sure you know the tax laws to avoid spending a lot in taxes for selling.
On the uphold app. Where do I put the tangem Andress for sending kas to tangem

for some reason i can't select the Kaspa Network when trying to purchase, it only allows me to select the kaspa cryptocurrency. Is there some step I missed?
You only choose network when sending not buying
Plz help every time I try to send the kaspa from the Kaspium wallet it says transaction failed what else can I do ?
You can try importing your seed phrase again after removing the app.
Or you can try changing the node first to: usnode.kaspium.io:443

You should be able to click the swap button and choose Bitcoin as your funding and kaspa as what you want to buy.

This is pretty much any exchange. Selling crypto on exchanges are usually very costly with fees sadly.

Make sure you watch the video in detail. Select kaspa under the cryptocurrency network section.
