Beat Saber - KDA Popstars Expert+ (Mixed Reality)

- My friend and I decided to put his green screen to use, and were recording some gameplay for the first time late last night. We noticed the update and decided to give the new track a shot. This is my first attempt at it, and I gotta say it's personally my favorite official Expert+ track so far. It's got great flow and some unique patterns I hadn't seen yet, and I really started getting into it!
We got it done quick and dirty, but we'll be rendering out nicer videos in the future. Because of the update I lost the saber color menu, and couldn't set it back to default for the video, but I fixed it later by reinstalling the mods. We were also recording off my phone, so hopefully we can upgrade to a proper camera and get the mixed reality pipeline more streamlined through LIV, but for now I'm pretty happy with the results.

Wow, I honestly was not expecting this kind of response! Thank you guys for making this such a memorable holiday! I recorded a bunch more footage but haven't been able to render them out yet because of the Christmas chaos, but subscribe if you want to see more videos like this. I was just watching the Oculus Rift BeatSaber promo vid and said to myself I bet I can find an actually legit Expert+ playthrough of this song. Was not disappointed. Great presentation with mixed reality BTW.

This song is so damn catchy you can't help but dance. Have listened to this song over 200 times since it released. It's my gym warmup song, my drive to work song, my drive home song. Just so easy to lose yourself in the beat. Lol

@@BlownMacTruck Lol yes. Playing BeatSaber gives you a far more close feeling to using a light-saber in real life than an FPS game played with keyboard or controller does with a gun. The only real difference would be the weight of the apparatus.

I'm so happy this song just came to PSVR!! Now they just need to bring us this glorious expert+ mode!
Problem with expert + right now is that tracking problems make it almost impossible to play them on PSVR atm. The devs are actively trying to make it work though so keep your fingers crossed and PSVR might get it.

@@camerondodge9151 I am not entirely sure anymore what exactly they said (and that was already vague) but I *think* it was something about the tracking refresh rate especially concerning the camera.
@@sinom that doesnt really sound like a reason. I play this song on expert on 150% speed and have mo problem with tracking. Dont see why this mode would change anything.

I really like this song in general. Normally i don't listen to K Pop especially that this is a virtual kind but i like bassy music and it pretty good especially in Beat Saber because people map it so nicely.

I loved the last 30 seconds of this when he start justed jamming out. He racked up more misses but that is okay, he was dancing and having fun. That section was hard but still good job

Had a DK2 back when those were a thing and did some experiments in UE4 and all the demos, but dang.... VR has come a long way in a short time! Living in the future is fun! Can't wait to see more from you!
That's awesome man! I highly recommend the deluxe audio strap, and replacing the foam mask and strap back with fake leather replacements from Amazon. Makes a world of difference in comfort
Remy yeah, that deluxe audio strap looks so much more comfortable. Thinking about trying the GearVR lens upgrade too. Better believe I'll be 3D printing all kinds of mods for this thing. :)
