Due to the need to use a Modal on pages made with DIVI I tried to insert Bootstrap libraries, but I had compatibility problems. So searching Google I found your tip that gave me a simple and effective solution. In Brazil there are not many channels talking about Divi, maybe one or two, so it is a little difficult for newbies to find solutions in channels like yours. I'm very grateful.
Yay! first one to comment. This is a fantastic plugin I was looking for creating popups in Divi. Previously I watched some tutorials on creating popus in Divi but those were more technical. This is super easy. I hope the signup form can also be created with this plugin.

@@KoriAshton I re-did Jim's site (tcturning.com) and I just had to add in one of these popups. It is located on the home page, almost to the bottom of the page on the left. The button is 'Tell Us More Here'. You are always such a great inspiration to all of us!

"Call Seller" I made as a popup info sheet with just 4 phone numbers on that I put the same one on every "Call Seller link" so that is just one popup and the "Email seller" is a "MailTo:" link but the "Specifications" are not the same, and I got them all in PDFs, and as it is now, I just linked the PDF to the "Specifications" button, but it is a bit disturbing to be "taken away" to another browser window as a user, and I would like to make the "Specifications" less intrusive and have them as little popup cards! :-)

Hey James - This plugin (in pro version) offers that "Exit Intent" popup. When you enable the Exit Intent trigger, this Popup is automatically opened before the user leaves the current webpage. Note that the Exit Intent only works on desktop browsers, not on touch devices. I'll try to get this in the queue for you soon! Stay tuned.

Are you running a caching plugin? Have you tried to test this using Kproxy.com to view the site? If you're running any other plugins with the same function, you may have conflicts.
Sounds like you're looking for an advanced feature known as triggering or timed popups (conditional logic). This may be an premium feature that you'd have to research further. The trick though is finding one that works with Divi. You might check out their new Marketplace to see if there's a solution that can help www.elegantthemes.com/marketplace/

@@filipinhox I'm not too sure why it's auto triggering. It's certainly not supposed to. I would suggest looking through your plugins. Deactivate anything else that has a popup function. I would also confirm that you have the latest versions of WordPress, Divi, and all of your plugins. Anything needing updates could be causing a conflict.

Is it true that from a SEO point of view the effectiveness of a text in a pop up is around 50% of the same text in an article? Thank you in advance :)
Hello Valeria - I would not recommend a pop up per page. To answer your question, popups that jolt a user and cause them to struggle to close / access content are a series no-no from Google. We want the user to only have to engage with a popup for security or as a "common" user experience - like clicking to watch a video, clicking to open a shorter bio, a promo, etc. I would recommend only one popup at a time if it's needed at all.

I made this question knowing so well that Mr Google gives hard times to all of us, often unreasonably. I take your advise as a must, and will not add more than a pop up (your pop ups! the way you taught us here) per page. Sounds like you're talking more about an user experience, perhaps. This would be tricky with this plugin. But you may want to reach out to the plugin developers directly and ask them for this feature.
I'll try to make it brief :) I have made 2 different popups for the menus, same menu but one popup for big screens and a second popup for smaller devices. The funny thing is that if I insert a link in one menu, namely the first one which is the one for the big screens, the link is automatically applied in the second menu, which is quite strange. I guess it has something to do with css and IDs. We have seen that error before with Hubspot. Can you log out and view it though? We noticed that the forms don't display when you're in the editor mode.

I don't believe so. You'll need to keep it activated.

I do :) I name each popup the person's first name and use that as the link.

Different software. I record with OBS and I use a paid app called Presentify for the circled mouse affect.

You can create multiple popups and have different triggers based on their click, yes.

I'll try to make it brief :) I have made 2 different popups for the menus, same menu but one popup for big screens and a second popup for smaller devices. The funny thing is that if I insert a link in one menu, namely the first one which is the one for the big screens, the link is automatically applied in the second menu, which is quite strange. If I sold this, indeed this solutions is the easiest, quickest and most versatile one for soooo many uses.

@@vch56 Hello :) I couldn't seem to find the popup on your link example, but have you tried using the "mobile" feature inside of Divi? Would that fix this so that you wouldn't have to have 2 different popups?

Hm, this plugin doesn't work with HubSpot form. It won't load.
We have seen that error before with Hubspot. Can you log out and view it though? We noticed that the forms don't display when you're in the editor mode.
How can I make pop up automatically when a new user visit the page?
I think that may be a pro feature. Have you checked their website? divimode.com/divi-popup/
Can you create a cookie notice with this plugin?
I'd rather suggest using a cookie plugin or a GDPR type plugin for those notifications.

Please check that you're using "sections" in divi. Also if you need faster help you might be able to reach out to the plugin developers directly.
