    Couldn't get this to work. On hover it just stays at 320px and doesn't transition to 1080px. I set the row hover width to 100% instead of 1080px, and that didn't work either. Not sure what I'm missing here. I have re-watched and followed along with this about 4 times now. :(

    i wonder if this is possible for a gallery theme like kinda thing..? and whether the pop up will cover the other image like what I want it to be

    You're taking most of the time in doing styling and all.... without directly coming to the point on popups and also consider showing the mobile view of whatever you do.
