For doing the same thing, you are doing it the hard way. You use the category name as the dynamic text for title, and then pull the products for that category. One page, simple for all categories. Then if you want different backgrounds for each category, you upload your banner image to the category, and pull the image as dynamic text.
I got everything I needed from this walk through besides 1 tiny detail. At 15:40 your product shows PayPal buttons and mine doesn't. Should they be there?

I was hoping that the product category page could at least be set to have a dynamic title at the top by Product Category doesn't seem to be an option for dynamic content the way it is for say Post Category. Pity the designer who's building 50 different product category page templates.
Hi Darrel great video as always. My only issue is how do you make a page with 20 products per page listed in a similar format to google images. Rather than just a row at a time. as well as adjusting the page number format search at the bottom of the page eg 1-4 pages. As you can probably tell I am very new to this. Thanks for your help
Great video Darrel. I have a problem though. When you do anything on the sidebar it loads a different page. You address the fact that those pages don't have the styling you just made on the shop page, but what would prefer to do is have an all-Divi sidebar (or other solution) that loads stuff in the same page AJAX style. When the user comes to the shop page it initially has all products listed, and paginated. I'd like to make it so when they select a product category on the left, all other products on the right just disappear. Originally I tried to make a 3 section shop page where each of our 3 categories was shown in each section. Only one of the categories has enough products to cause pagination. When you change the page on that category the other two show a page not found message because they don't have a page two. That's baaaaaad. LOL Solution ideas?

I don't see pagination. Does the sidebar filter actually work for the products block since it's the native shop pg then? Bc I can use any products block on any pg assigned shop but the filter won't be for the grid.

Hi okay so I used some of the elements to create a custom product page and shop page all looks fine but the problem I have is that my shop page is only showing the set product amount of 16. I need to add the navigation section to the page so clients can go to the next page. I see that you don't have any information on that. I've spoken with both Divi and Woocommerce regarding the product filters/search not working on the Divi shop module. It seems the WooCommerce Product Filters only work with the default WooCommerce Shop page created from a custom post type. They will not work with the Divi Shop Module at all. You'll have to build a custom shop page that doesn't use filters and then link to a page like the default shop page or product category page to be able to use those filters. If you want to build custom category or other pages that use the Divi Shop Module, make sure you don't need the filter functionality.
After speaking with the Elegant Themes support team (Divi) has been kind enough to create a feature request ticket for adding this functionality to the Divi Shop Module. Hopefully they get enough feedback to add it to a future release ; )

I do have a video on the registration part ( but divi also has a module for this) and for slower websites, use wp-rocket ( it has tons fo features) and also WP smush to make images smaller but 15-20%

Hello Darrel, thanks so much for your videos and layout templates... I'm using one the templates you showed up here and I did follow the instructions about the side bar and I can't remove the discount cupon you have in the templaye even though there is no image widget in the side bar... also when I add the filter by price widget it doesn't appear with the slider... just the filter button and the price range but can't adjust it cause there is no bar. Any thoughts on these 2 issues?

My shop page was updated through the divi builder and everything looked so great. Woke up yesterday and my old shop page was showing. I went back into the builder, resaved, saved again on the main builder page. Everything saves but my shop page remains the old page. Very, very, strange. Its like theres a bug. Is this happening to anyone else??
@@blazeboxcanada8387 This happens to my home page. I'm not sure what the problem is but it usually fixes itself within a few minutes or I just put the background back and the rest falls into place. I hope they figure out how to fix that

Indeed, sidebard filters are not working with DIVI theme builder or shop module. They only work with default Woocommerce template I fear.

yeah there is a small error, if you delete the top row after up upload it, it will appear
