Fun fact about Vader’s suit
When palpatine designed it he made it to increase Vader’s suffering. That includes small gaps for sand and other small particles to get in and irritate his scars

The thing is: I KNEW Cere was gonna die, she was up against VADER for godsakes, so I was able to prepare myself. BUT I was NOT prepared for Cal crying over her body like that, and with that music? Man, that really hits you in the feels.
Cameron Monaghan is a great actor.
Besides Kenobi up to this point Cere is the strongest openent he faced while in the suit. The rest were way weaker than her here. So I thought she could survive. And tbh if she decided to leg it as soon as she crushed him with the texts then she might have made it out

Fun fact the music that plays when cere dies has an easter egg in it. The va for cere also plays savthun from destiny and you can hear the melody of savathuns song in the music when cere dies.
For me there was a glitch that rendered ceres body over cal, so I watched emotionless cere holding dead cere and I was really confused. Had to rewatch the scene.

I cried at this scene man I love the romance between cal and merrin, it’s one of the most unique ones in Star Wars.

If you look Bode’s face when the alarm went off, he wasn’t surprised, and looked somewhat sad. He was fully aware of whats coming.
This is later confirmed in a post-game force echo that Bode was actually hesitated about betraying Cal.
You can see how when the alarms start going off in the archive, Bode's reaction and expression is so out of it. He looks so resigned like 'Damn. I gotta do this now.'
So many people don't like this twist as much but I think it's an amazing bunch of story points. An understandable betrayal. A fight between a fallen Jedi with a BLASTER and REVERSE GRIP. Playing as Cere and fighting Vader. Losing to Vader like we should (people were still annoyed he took any damage 🙄). Having Cal get together with Merrin, changing the Jedi code and evolving as a Jedi. Having Cal embrace his dark side but still trying to show empathy at certain moments like a true Jedi. And showing that you can be stabilised by listening to someone you love dearly. Merrin was able to stop Cal from giving in unlike Padme with Anakin. And we got multiple deaths from old characters. Just. Wow. So many good things and none of them felt out of pace.
It’s annoying how people get so triggered when Vader takes any damage or gets challenged in any way. People take the ‘chosen one’ prophecy way too seriously. He may be one of the strongest but that doesn’t mean he’s untouchable.
I used the blaster stance when I fought Bode. Having a saber and a blaster vs a saber and a blaster was so cool. I was literally geeking out during my fight with Bode despite having my heart crushed by his betrayal.
I found it cool that Vader could be damaged because it shows how much better she's gotten in the years since their last encounter as well as showing that Vader is powerful not invincible
Agreed, she was a jedi master after all it's not like she was a padawan like we've mostly seen or even an average jedi
Vader has easily beaten so many jedi i wonder if he was purposely letting cere damaging so much so it made ut more of an exciting fight for him, something vader would probably do

When Bode went to see “if that thing has an owner’s manual” he grabbed half of Dagen’s lightsaber which is why he had one and why it’s red.

OHHHHHHHHHHH! I just assumed he had a lightsaber on him. That was clever on the part of the writers
If you later go back, you find new force echos everywhere. One of them is about Bode taking Dagan's lightsaber saying something like "that may come in handy".
Best thing about the vader fight is that he moves from using one handed strikes, to after beating him a bit a mix of one handed and two handed strikes, to after droping an archive on him using mainly two handed strikes, which mirrors what he did in the movies.
Id already seen Cordova die, but for some reason this one actually made me cry again. Id grown to love Cordova as a character during Fallen Order and Survivor and seeing Bode, who again was a character I loved, murder possibly my favourite game character was so heartbreaking.
Edit: Cordova, Cere, may you rest in peace. And bode, you may have gone down a dark path. But you, too deserve to rest.

I used to think that Cere was actually somewhat pushing back Vader in her battle, but now I realize that despite his appearance, Vader really only had mostly superficial damage to his suit. He was clearly a bit exhausted, but then he walks it off as if nothing happened.
Because he has literal plot armor and because he doesn't die until Return of the Jedi.

This part of the game hit me hard man. What's wild is that early in the came, I called Bode being a traitor, but then they waited so long into story to have it happen, after several story points when it would have made since... I had started to believe I'd gotten it wrong. Then it happens, and the second twist of Bode being a former Jedi blindsided me.
This was one of the best sequences I’ve ever played in a video game before. This was amazing.
Fun fact if you go back to where you fought dagan, there’s some scannable lore about where a certain someone got his lightsaber

This is definitely my #1 favorite part of your "Star Wars Jedi: Survivor" walkthrough, Andrew. We got such wholesome moments, shocking reveals, and an insane Darth Vader boss fight. R.I.P. Eno Cordova and Cere Junda.
Im amazed that they somehow made Darth Vader even more menacing while giving him a health bar, i love how he just wiggled himself app like" shit man, that was close"
Casually walking away from a battle with wounds that would normally be lethal and treating like another day at the office is ten times more badass than just taking down everyone completely unscathed.
I noticed many folk make Cal use a white lightsaber to show him as a Grey Jedi, but i feel his would be Purple, because he still associates with the Jedi, but uses the Dark Side in a good way like Mace Windu

I had the same shocked expression after finding out Bode was a former jedi and emotionally destoyed when Cere died and Cal hugged her.
I remember feeling really anxious during victory party too, like it was too good to be true and everything is certain to go down to shit somehow. In 3-act story structure this moment called false victory, when hero gets what he wanted, but it's not what he needed, so disaster happens to force him towards the truth and final confrontation. I thought Tanalor may not be what they expected, like radioactive wasteland or imperial command base for outer rim, instead of sanctuary, and Cal had to accept the fact that solution to his problems is not some magic planet, but the people. But this works too)
Rick the door technician could easily solo Bode and Darth Vader

When Bode used the Force the first thing I thought was that Dagan basically body snatched Bode and he wasn't dead, instead using Cal's trust in Bode to infiltrate the Archives
same I was convinced Dagan wasn't dead till we went to Nova Garon

She knew who she was going to face. She could sense it. She didn't want Merrin going down with her.
I love the way Cameron Monaghan said “he has a daughter” with such a dark tone in his voice. I honestly love the implication from that that they could totally capture his daughter and use her as a bargaining chip. That’s what I thought Cal would suggest anyway
I knew Bode was gonna betray Cal because I saw spoilers online. But when he did it in such epic fashion... i was legitimately angry at him! 😂
That cal and cere cutscene was so powerful stop your crying I’m not in was so well done
I love how consistent this is with the Empire's internal politics. Of course Bode needs to sell out to the Inquisitorius and flee the ISB. Only Vader himself has enough clout in the Imperial ranks to get THAT many troops to Jedha on such short notice.

I haven't played this game yet but i love it so much already. The story is just awesome, the characters have depth and you are just invested in them emotionally, the combat looks fluent and fun. i also love how survivor feels and plays like it continues from the first game. GOTY contender for sure.
The worst thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies.
Some cool Easter eggs on the fish tank on Pyloons Saloon, the Glockenspiel Crab’s shell is a B1 battle droid head, and occasionally Skoova dives in the tank, I hope you add this on your latest Easter egg video.😁

I think Bode is not pre evil nor was he playing Cal from the beginning. I think he is a Jedi survivor who prioritizes his family and puts his attachment above all. He only started behaving unsure and sketchy once Cal beat Degan and began considering using Tanalore as a Jedi hidden path counter attack staging ground. Bode truly appears to hate Inquisitors and the empire. I think his saber is red because he has given into elements of the dark side.

This whole section is incredible. So many 🤯🤯 moments in about an hour or so
I think I understand why Bode betrayed them, he didn't want to betray Cal specifically he wanted give up the Hidden Path to throw a bone to the Empire so they won't try to find Tanalorr, after you complete the game and listen to the new force echoes on each of the worlds Bode visited it makes it seem like he wanted to tell Cal what his plans were and he wanted Cal to bring just his closest friends with him and not the Hidden Path or Cere. I think he realized Cal wouldn't go along with it so he decided to just betray them all and try to blame Cal for his actions like "You could've come with me and Kata. I thought we were friends bud."

I’m beyond this bit, but I loved this scene, as well as the trident plateau scene.

I kinda understand the problem people have with the vader fight, but with an emphasis on kinda. Throughout most of the fight I felt a bit like Vader wasn't menacing enough, and that we the player (as Cere) were doing too much damage. However, in later attempts I realized that that's mostly in the gameplay, which you shouldn't always take serious because the people making the game have to take some liberties for better gameplay. When you look at the cutscenes, you see that most of Cere's successes in the fight boil down to her superior speed, as Vader is of course very restricted in his armor, or Vader being nonchalant/playing with her.
Bode’s betrayal pissed me off not because he killed Cordova or doomed Cere but because he was STUPID. He confesses that Tanalorr could have been a home for “both of our families” yet didn’t even try to reason with cal before going nuclear. If he had explained his reasoning for not wanting the hidden path to be there, cal most likely would have understood and ALL of this could have been avoided.
Yet its not like bode was easy to reason with i mean the man litterly almost killed his own daughter man HIS OWN KID!!!!! He just shouldnt of taken it at all and come clean and maybe just maybe cal could of found a way to save kata with out wasting anyones lives

Vader just stabbing cere and walking away was one of the darkest things we've seen him do in a duel. He wanted her to know that he was above her and not worth his time
7:10 @Bombastic (Andy) i know your devastated about Eno Cordova "dying" but you have to remember in this new Disney Star Wars era if people can come back from a lightsaber impalement to the stomach, then anything is possible. If the grand inquisitor can take a lightsaber to the stomach and live and not to mention Reva if she can do it twice then surely Master Cordova can survive a blaster to the gut IMO, that's of course if Respawn sticks to Disney's rules/canon, lore lol. let's just hope they don't revert to George Lucas' rules so we can get to see Master Eno Cordova again, but if I'm entirely honest with you I'd rather they stick to the old ways of how a lightsaber should actually function and leave him dead sad to say but it must be done to keep this game accurate. May the force be with you, always...
If there's a sequel to this game i hope you can swap between Merrin and Cal for some mission similar to swapping between Batman and Catwoman in Arkham City
Theres said its gonna be a trilogy game series how ever they would need to re-aquire the star wars license for one last Jedi Game to complete it as the license has now run out

Everyone's Happy, Cal and Bode Defeated Dagen and got The Compass, Cordova repairs it and Cal and Merrin Finally Get Together. They Won, They Did It, And Then Everything just goes to hell. It's So Brilliant. I Liked Bode So Much, He was such a Likable Character, And then He just Betrays Everyone and Kills Cordova. That actually made Me Mad I was So Happy Cordova was Back, And then Bode just shoots Him. I went from Liking Bode, To Absolutely Despising Him. That just shows You how Good The Writing Is. And not only did Bode Betray Cal, He's also a Former Jedi?!? WHAT A TWIST!!! And getting to Play as Cere was Awesome!!! What a Beast!!! And then just when You think it couldn't get any better, DARTH FREAKING VADER SHOWS UP. That Was INSANE!!! I've seen a lot of People say that Vader didn't have a Health Bar, He had a Patience Bar. I Think That's The Perfect Way To Look At It. I Cried when Cal was Holding Cere after She Died. Cameron Monaghan is Such a Phenomenal Actor. R.I.P. Cere and Cordova. They Died like True Jedi. What an Amazing Mission!!! I Love This Walkthrough Series So Much!!! I LOVE THIS GAME SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!! Jedi Fallen Order was Great, But This Game is on Another Level!!! Cal Kestis is One of My Favorite Jedi Ever and One of My Favorite Characters In All Of Star Wars and I Just Love These Games So Much!!!

Im not sure what oragne sabers represent but im assuming that it symbolizes someone is protecting their own interest and wants.
Red symbolizes the negative emotins the jedi felt including selfishss while yellow was for the gaurdians who were protecters of the order.
