      A lot of clubs did not win the PL . No team is entitled to win . Since the PL era, only 7 teams have won it . Leicester and Blackburn are the only abnormalities from the 5 other teams that have won it . Of that 5 other teams , ManC and Chelsea have won it by throwing large sums of money . Manu , Arsenal and Liverpool had the money for sometime .
      Tottenham has just joined the new rich in recent years and is able to compete better financially. Whether that will result in a titles , it’s still not within Tottenham control . Firstly breaching the financial gap gives a team a chance , but a lot of things have to fall in place ; not only the right manager , team and players etc . But how the club is run , external changes to the landscape .
      Daniel Levy never get the credit he deserves and he would not live forever .

      100% Spot On !!!
      Lamela missed 14 months give/take with hip injury, and a few other smaller injuries. But when fit he would always create havoc in the press and defensively. Offensively he would have 4-6 game stretches but was never consistent throughout a whole season. You could say thats due to not always getting consistent playing time, but Coco did contribute in key games. Had he not had that major injury the 7 players brought in after selling Bale, more people may add him with Eriksen as the only successful players for the club?

  • @kmdreacts
    @kmdreacts 22 дня назад +8

    As a Spurs fan of 31yrs, there's only ONE common denominator that the majority of our toxic positive fanbase doesn't want to admit:...
    Dark Lord Daniel Levy!!
    25yrs running this club with 1 trophy to show for it, but according to this sucka fanbase: "As long as we get top 4"... "We've got the best stadium in the world!!"
    Sacks Martin Jol at half-time.
    Sabotaged Harry Redknapp's charge for the title.
    Sold out AVB by selling Bale and buying 9 duds that didn't last longer than 2-3 seasons.
    Completely undermined and sold out Poch after we finish 2nd by going 518 days with no transfers, then sacks him due to poor start to a season.
    Brings in the greatest decorated manager in modern times and sacks him 1 week before a final.
    Brings another decorated manager but sacks him because that manager can see & smell the bs and calls it out publicly..
    Now, we bring in a manager majority of our fans didn't know about (and don't even lie) while spending 400+m on players like Richarlison, Solanke, Brenan Johnson & Timo Werner.
    Has one of the greatest strikers/footballers in world football with other great talent like Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Dele, Erikson, Dembele, And refuses to buy class talent from around the world, but when he does, it's Ndombele, Bryan Gil (who's on his 4th loan), Louis Saha, Ryan Nelson, Paulinho, Gedson Fernandes, and the likes.
    Tottenham Hotspurs is no longer a football club.
    It's an enterprise. An entertainment complex with kart racing, music and boxing events, that just happens to have a football TEAM that plays in the stadium every other week.
    I refuse to spend Any money while Dark Lord Levy reigns supreme and I haven't since he sold out Redknapp.
    Our fans will say the club has no money or is in debt yet, our chairman has given himself TWO hefty payrises in the last 6yrs while our club is 8th most profitable/richest football club in the world.
    Fans like Chris Colin and his guests and of that ilk are why the football club is where it is. They don't demand more nor make a stand on principle.
    It's the same "patience is key. It's another project. Wait until the summer/january window."
    19 managers in 25yrs speaks Volumes.

      @Privadevs 15 дней назад

      No. 1 Poch sold himself out. It’s common knowledge he refused to sign anyone the scouts showed him bc he wanted specific names, can’t remember who tho. We are also in one of the best positions ffp wise bc of Levy. We can’t spend 400 million if we’ll get done for it like Everton

    Sadly this game against Leicester confirmed my problem as a fan. I wasn’t able to watch it but post-match it seems Spurs played a brilliant attacking style dominating possession, creating great chances, and great passing combinations, but the defense despite having great players was disorganized and against the run of play a badly marked 38 year old scored.

    Good video, however the Levy discussion regarding a supposed “gentleman’s agreement” with regard to Kane is a bit unfair - he never blocked the move, City were just not ponying up the cash that Levy valued Kane at - if anything City were negotiating in bad faith, with Pep constantly blathering on in the press about Levy, complaining about Levy’s unwillingness to acquiesce to City’s demands, as if City had some divine right to buy players on their terms - also that whole summer just about every pundit was attacking Levy relentlessly, some even appeared to be visibly angry that Levy would have the gall to not sell unless his terms were met (🙄), it was really quite absurd and Pep and much of the press really embarrassed themselves that summer - bottom line is that Levy valued Kane at a certain price and City wouldn’t pay it.

      @@chrisfrank2664 i´ve got no idea mate, saw it at United Peoples TV, Sam is not the type to report BS. To be fair, its different buildig a brand new stadium or looking at an old one with that capacity, surely a new would have all the security precautions needed.

      @@Ruben-so7pu I wasn't doubting the report, I just hadnt heard 120K , and looked up all reports which all said 100K is the plan (for now). Whatever it is, building a new stadium for Manchester United should be among the greatest stadiums in the world. ( likely most expensive too! So-Fi Stadium in LA cost 5.5 Billion Dollars = 4,171,255,000 pounds)

      As a Brisbane roar fan turned recent spurs fan because of Ange, the hardcore spurs fans that frequent every spurs centred channel I've seen are actually quite pessimistic. Without fail you will see a 1/3rd of the fan comments saying that Ange will fail and the tactics are terrible. There is this certain nihilistic culture birthed from the constant failure to attain any major trophy's, they're gearing up to be disappointed again instead of backing the club. It's a losing mentality that's latched itself onto the club that they haven't shaken off for an entire generation now. Obviously there are many more fans that back ange and are hoppeful but most definitely don't conflate that with meaning they have the best team in the league that will topple over Europe and conquer every trophy. That kind of thinking has been beaten out of the club, whether that's good or bad, I don't know. Spurs fans are a lot more pragmatic than you'd think.
