It’s fun to have a comprehensive rundown of all of these, Brad. I feel very fortunate to have all of these.
Oh nice!
Nice. I got only series 26 and D&D 😢
I really hope we get more D&D minifigures in the future. It's truly amazing!
Honestly me to! I would be ok if D&D become a theme Lego did!
Be nice if they made full series dedicated to medieval theme only.
These new D&D minifigs are amazing for Castle! Lego really nailed this line
100 percent!
Yes!! I just ordered a whole box😂
Hopefully someday we can get a full regular castle cmf too since this line has been so successful, maybe Lego will listen for once haha
I wish they'd make battle packs for Castle. Like 5 Black Falcons or 5 Orcs with assortments of weapons. I've made a few armies from pick a brick, but I think there's a good market for castle
I personally head-canon that the Spider Lady is actually Willa the witch. After a battle between her and Basil left turned the Batlord into a vampire, he used his newfound power to overpower Willa and turn her into a vampire as well who now serves him instead of the other way around.
And what a glowup if true 😂
The reference to the Holy Grail is crazy ! I had never noticed. It’s really details that I love
Agreed!
Good video. I've worked hard and have collected every figure in this video over the years (except Griphook, never thought to get him... though I've got a couple of his swords from BrickLink). Great break down for those looking to broaden their "Castle" LEGO.
There's so many more that can fit in most fantasy worlds... Roman Commander, Emperor, Gladiator, and Soldier. The Flying Warrior, Spartan Warrior, Gladiator, and Medusa. Pharaoh, Egyptian Queen, Mummy Queen, Egyptian Warrior. The Fairy and Sugar Fairy. The Desert Warrior and Snake Charmer. The Conquistador, Aztec Warrior, and Ancient Warrior. Push foward a little and you can add the likes of Swashbuckler, Highwayman, Musketeer, Rococo Aristocrat, Thespian, William Shakespeare. Caveman, Cave Woman, and Jungle Boy can probably fit in some campaigns (if only for barbarian parts). And you can go further if you want to add Pirates... It just goes on and on as the lines get blurrier. Heh.
Many of those figures I added to either my pirate cmf video and my Greek/roman cmf video so I didn’t feel like I needed to add them here.
Very well done! I like how you grouped them together, it flowed nicely.
I appreciate it! Honestly I always group them because that’s how my brain works and it just feels right to do it that way😅
The Head on the Evil knight is Soooo underrated!
Oh agreed!
I like how you included pieces that don't relate to Castle but can still be used. Great video!
Well when you do fantasy world it opens up a lot more options!
So many good figs throughout the years from CMF. My favorites are the fright knight we got earlier this year and the dragonborn paladin. Only figures this year that might rival them would be from Baradur.
Perfectly documented video !!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Favorite got to be the bear knight, there are others with nice shield and torso prints scattered throughout the review
The bear knight is fantastic!
Also, the CMF line had two Gladiators who would fit perfectly into a Barbarian faction.
Absolutely love your videos Brad! Keep up the fantastic work!
(P.S. any chance we could get a Tavern Talk about the Crown Knights and Skeleton factions from Fantasy Era?)
Those two are also good!
I will at some point but my next two will be royal knights then fright knights. After that I don’t know which one I will do
@@BrickingUpBrad
No worries, take your time.
Royal Knights is definitely an underrated faction (with my personal favorite Lion emblem) and Fright Knights is just awesome!
I put my Barbarians in my Rogue faction!
Happy to have all of them. Great video.
Nice!
Awesome job with spinning shots Brad! Those D&D figures are incredible, especially that Dragonborn Paladin 💪
Thank you so much!
GREAT list, Brad!! Was hoping to see an update soon. Thanks!!
Glad to hear it!
Great vid man! Can't wait to get my hands on a box of these new figs!!
Thank you! They are amazing can’t wait for you to get them!
Nice to see all of them in one video! 🫡☺️
Thank you!
Great Video! All of these Minifigures are Heaters!
True!
Wow, that’s the best lego MF video i have ever seen! Thank you!
That’s high praise! Thank you!
Bat Lord aka Vampire Knight always my fav because he is very cool and detail design
Same here!
i love Medieval theme/set . awesome video! 👍
Well you found the right channel for that stuff!
The conquistador from series 8 is great for castle too in my opinion.
He could definitely work!
Still a little newer to the channel, been watching a couple months though, and I must say this is some amazing content, I love the way you do your videos, as well as getting to learn or just over all stroll through the years of great themes, keep up the great work
Welcome to the channel! Thank you so much! I love just educating people on what’s out there because many people missed stuff due to there dark ages or just didn’t grow up with Lego!
Great Video, Instant Fan 🙏🥳👍
Thank you!
What a wonderful rundown!
I have all but realistic viking, grandma's vistor and islanders warrior! 😊
Nice!
Love the new d&d stuff hopefully we get another big set next year that also doubles as a one shot. Though I wish the new player character figures in the cmf got stat sheets like the four in the set
Great video man
Thank you!
Thanks. I found something to add to my collections !
Glad I could help!
Awesome video 👍
Thank you!
2:57 The CMF King & Queen go great with the Lion Knights Castle. They're crazy expensive now though
7:13 Thor’s hammer Jonathan
😂😂
Lego CMF Series 10 Roman Commander col10-3 is also very cool
I can’t believe I slept on the Tournament Knight and Frightening Knight! Now they’re very expensive!
Yeah those two are so good but it’s crazy how hard they are to get😬
Very great video, nicely done
Thank you!
I would argue that the vikings are in fact a part of europes middle ages. Awsome video nonetheless, I appreciate how much effort you must have putten in, but for non european historical faction I must mention and show some love for the Aztec warrior from cmf 21, even though I am aware that such figures must be hard to categorize
Yes Vikings does go with Europes Middle Ages. I should have phrased it differently in the video. The stuff we usually get in castle the knights and buildings are based on the Middle Ages BUT the architecture and figures from Vikings are based on nordic regions.
The Aztec warriors could technically go here but as you said it’s hard to know were to put them.
Great video! Makes me wanna spend more money on cmfs tho haha
I don’t see the problem…😉😂
@@BrickingUpBrad My bank account does see one tho haha
I found all of them on day one except Dragon born. Just need to find 2 of those and I'll be set. Overall a great CMF, one of the best they've ever made.
It’s really good!
The Evil knight also worked for the Fright Knights once.
Best are tornament knight and heroic knight and the batlord looks cool
Those are all good figure!
Some good figures if you're looking for stuff from the middle east are the desert warrior and the snake charmer
True
They may have stopped the Lego castle line but we still can get stuff like this from Lego cmf
Oh 100 percent!
I want them all.
😂
I really, wish they gave the DnD dwarf a beard piece, they look soo good on dwarfs, I dont care Id wear it instead of the fur
For my Dwarf barbarian, I found a black dragon helmet from a old Fright Knights set (#6031) that better suits him in my opinion, even without a proper beard.
There's a magenta spider lady and there's a gorgon figure you didn’t mention, but that’s more Greco-Roman.
I’d like to see you do a video about all the different Samurai/Japanese related figures we’ve gotten over the years. I really want a Japanese/Samurai theme like the medieval/fantasy series we’ve had. Ninjago always goes a bit overboard.
Went to bricklink looking for the Vidyo Dragon figures and was immediately floored by the price
Ever since the green dragon born came out he shot up in price😅
“skin coloured” 😭😭
You could also use the mermaid batmans tail from the lego bat man cmfs to fill in for some more mermaid people
That is true
Nice video but like other videos of Lego fantasy/medieval minifigures they tend to miss out the Flying Warrior from CMF series 15.
I talked about that figure in my Roman cmf video
You can create your own armies with all these
Of for sure!
@@BrickingUpBrad What's more is that we COULD (keyword being "could") get more D&D themed sets in the future; especially since Vox Machina is coming out with its third season next month
EmpLemon, is that you?
well i did found on Facebook some leaked CMF for 2025 and your shall love it with castle style figures.
Yep saw that one a while ago! Can’t wait for him!
@@BrickingUpBrad i am also can't wait for it
I will hope for a valkyrie warrior lego norse mythtology
That would be amazing!!!
Great job as always. What about Medusa?
I was debating about her but I talked about her in my Roman cmf video and I figured that she would fit better in that one.
Quite a shame that there's not a single skeleton warrior (the DND wizard doesn't count) since undead skeletons are basically one of the most common races in fantasy
Skelletons are one of the cheapest and accessible figures on bricklink and from many themes like ninjago or castle. I think its good not to waste the space because you can collect them anyways
@@simonstoffels1878 I am deeply obsessed with them and I want them to have representation
I mean you can get skeletons for dirt cheap on pab. Or you could get the new ones in the new Thor set.
@@BrickingUpBrad I'm talking about classic skeleton warriors with tattered up armor and glowing eyes. I know they're common but I like them to have more presentation
What do you think about the series 9 fortune teller fitting in with the other medieval figs?
She works for sure but I consider her more pirates era
@@BrickingUpBrad ah good point
2013 was Lion Knights not Crown Knights
Also I liked to imagine the Spider Lady was a relative of Willa like its her sister or maybe her ancestor since they both have spider motifs to them.
Technically 2013 castle is called the kings men. When I said that in the video the was referring to the crown symbol the the 2013 lion soldiers had.
I have the troubadour! But I sadly lost the plume and replaced it with a red one :(
Damn that sucks
Also, I bought 100 of the paladins, and ten of all the other figs lol
Wife is fuming
dang, how'd you find so many?
@@BlueDragonBricks I used a minifig scanner app, really easy to use
Sell your wife for more paladins!!
@@BlueDragonBricksprobably with an app
Not cool dude. My sons went to the LEGO store Saturday in hopes of getting the paladin. As soon as we start scanning, just for one, mind you. The store worker confirms with us that someone scanned all the minifigures and purchased every single paladin. That really shouldn't be allowed.
11:00 Vikings are european and the viking age was during the early middle ages
Yes but the sets them selves are based on European architecture and knights. Instead they are based on Norse mythology and Nordic acticture and soldiers
Soon we ll get Wolf pack warrior
True!
I think you should've included the kendo fighter from series 15 with other asian inspired minifigs
I was 50 50 about adding him
Where can i get all these minifigs?
Bro I missed out on so many good minifigures 😭
Yeah I’m sad many of these came out when I wasn’t collecting cmfs😅
3:48 Well actually no, because kilts weren't worn in the middle ages
Dragonborn’s and wizards also didn’t exist during that time either😉
I think you really overslept on Evil Queen from Snow White
What about the Centaur minifig?
I added her
@@BrickingUpBrad I must have zoned out, my bad. Great video
😂 now I just went on eBay buying more figures I did not know I have
😂😂
Is frostmaw dead?
Nope just had other videos that I needed to make
I’m not sure what the best way to get
Bricklink
There is someone at lego making warhammer references and its not even funny. CMF Dwarf is 100% a Dwarf Slayer from Warhammer Fantasy. Barbarians have symbol of Chaos on thier belt as if they were from Norsca and CMF Orc has Warhammer orc skull on its shield...
Why Dorf 😂
Scandinavia is in Europe, so vikings are a European based faction.
You forget the Fortune teller from series 9 and the werewolf series 4
I consider the fortune teller to be more pirates then castle.
First
Let’s gooo!!!!!
We need more castle!Not dnd
Agreed! But I will take D&D till we get castle!
We need more d&d too
More of both, dnd is basically castle
@@imperialbricks4217 castle is more real medieval. D&D is fantasy (orcs, undead, sorcerer, special races and classes). In castle you will never see a rogue catfolk with a monk ratfolk against a mimic or beholder
@@yanis79 ok but it’s still a medical setting which is fine
