Fantastic episode. It`s always a pleasure to watch content with Jen. As for being a great musician she isn`t big headed and that`s what I love about her. Hope her career will continue for many years to come.
Fantastic episode Andy. Definitely one of the best (I know I keep saying that😀) thoroughly entertaining and Jen is a Gem. Struggles are your most teachable times 👍❤️😊
The algos nudged me here last night. Perhaps they have forgiven the giveaway thing.. Great show!!! I'm a huge fan now. Binge watched several shows last night into the wee hours. But this one is one of my favs. Two wonderful human beings. What she said about playing for the love of music really warmed my heart. Her outlook on life and music is beautiful. I think I fell in love and have a broken heart both for her and her guitar. But it will heal. :)
The reason I never learn't guitar was because it made me different from everybody around me! Oh and being psychopathicaly depressed probably didn't help. At my boarding school most people played multiple instruments to grade 8 or had teaching certificates. These were my fellow students. There, were so many specialist groups around the school, groups doing punk, reggae, funk, jazz rock fusion, classical, their were jams going on all the time (and people making Jams in the cookery room) And we just down the road from a College of Arts and Music, where we would get World famous musicians playing & World touring art exhibition down from London. We had this huge combined arts stage. Where the climbers used to hang the lights. I went to a school that was totally dominated by the arts & music, and I did science! For example we had a dedicated lab for Chemistry but the floor below it a similar room was dedicated to teaching Jewellery & SilverSmithing. We had a huge woodworking shop where people made Guitars, turning the necks on lathes and building their own pickups. I have seen Henning doing a tour of Berklee & other than Berklee being a lot newer it totally reminds me of school. So I did courses in classic radiophonic music production using tape loops, because samplers were too expensive & midi didn't even exist. Oh and I roadeed?? for a bunch of school bands (I never realised till now that Marshall was special, the school had loads of Marshall kit) & had to repeatedly explain to the band that no I couldn't balance the speakers on account of being deaf in one ear...
I'm not sure if it's appropriate to say this in a public forum, but one of the things I get from Henning is intense passion for everything he does driven by a deep interlect. You were talking to Henning on your trip to Vienna and it became obvious that this is true of you, which is why I followed you & I wondered if that was what drew Henning & Jen together, & this interview I think confirms it & given who Jen's boss married I wouldn't be surprised if you were friends as well. Besides your all 'snowflake' millenials! 😛😛😛😛😛
@@TheGuitarGeek Maybe someday we'll meet & we can share a hug, till then I hope you have a fantastic time with Henning & your mates at Gear Street Tree. Hugs

Great content, Andy. Whoever “disliked” this, is a miserable human being. Love your personality and humorous way of presenting stuff.
Thank you kindly!

That is a really cool guitar 🎸
At 14:10, Jen explains how she never professed to be a TRÜLÜLÜLÜLÜLÜLÜ guitarist. I share the sentiment.

How much money can you make a year 😊
Enough to survive and sometimes thrive!
I certainly didn’t pickup a guitar for money. It was the Covid chick who is just 19
Did you really want to touch it
My daughter. Is very self disciplined.. what day is it daddy. Sunday. Oh I better go work. Scary
May I say... She ONLY works Sunday and for about 20 minutes..

That REALLY made me laugh. Thank you do much. Bass Ukulele?
@@TheGuitarGeek tons of stretching and a V strings bass , 35" scale .
@@TheGuitarGeek esp ltd f-205 ×with SSB-5 set ....24 freets + stretch + strategic use of the B string is enough.
