10 years on you'd never guess 2013 was a low tornado year with how large its tornadoes loom
When I was 5 I watched this videos over and over because it just thought such a destructive force was so beautiful

@@that1barber550the fastest not necessarily EF-5 as that scale is based off damage assessments, and uses man-made construction to estimate the speed. Tornadoes that don't hit human construction are less likely to be rated as severe on the EF scale, and some lower rated tornadoes are incredibly scary and fast
It's crazy how when you see a tornado near a subdivision or a farm house that it comes across as looking treacherous and evil, but when out in the absolute middle of nowhere it can somewhat look beautiful and majestic
Almost like wild animals, gorgeous out in its territory. Terrifying in ours. And the more we expand, the more we will get attacked.

Thank God I live across the street from a park that still uses a an old air-raid siren and I hear it every time.
I would wake up because thankfully, there’s a tornado siren close by.
@@deez5595 you really can’t rely on tornado sirens, they are so unreliable. they can be destroyed easily and can also be cut off from whatever makes the sirens go.

The Incredible Squeak not really “loads”, but 4 of them died. The Twistex Team, and an El Reno resident who decided to chase the storm, and died in the attempt.
Umm Prince porky you kinda jumped the gun you just stated all of twistex is dead and only point out one resident was killed not trying to rain on your parade man.

Prince Porky true but ain't the whole point of all this Is to safe lives and provide better understanding and warning times for future events and I suppose 8 deaths is not as bad as it could of been a lot worse.

I'm sure he would be happy to see you. I always love talking to old timers... they are wise and almost always genuinely good people. It would be awesome if you got hooked up with a show, I'm pretty confident you would be successful as an entertainer and chaser. No pics as of yet in this big storm, supposed to be gusts in the valley of 80mph possible overnight so maybe in the AM. If you end up seeing Gordon tell him he has RUclips fans haha he might get a kick out of it.

The 2013 El Reno tornado was really bad as I had watched the documentary about it and it really terrified me with it's power and strength.
My heart still goes out to those who have died in the storm and to their families.
watching this in 2023. by the end of this year these clips will be 10 years old
when he was filming these i was 6 turning 7 at the start of the summer (June 12). It’s crazy that these events happened when i was that young and also how much i’ve changed since then. and the fact that he’s been doing this for longer than this. it’s insane.
i was just ending kindergarten and going into 1st grade, still a naive little kid. I won’t get into it much but in the years since i’ve gone through a lot and it’s changed so much since i was young. i wish i could go back but i try not to hold on to that since it’s obviously impossible. i’ll be 17 this year. my life is just flashing right past me.

In my hometown,Brookport Illinois, in 2013, a devastating tornado ripped through, and I was almost killed by it. I'm going strong today, and I am quite fascinated in storms and the development of tornadoes. I've had anxiety about storms ever since, but I hope I can come over that and be a storm chaser.

When my mom was a truck driver she used to completely stop traffic to help turtles out of the street ! All lives matter no matter how little, scaly, mean looking, or slimy

Gaming4Life123 i think the enhanced fujita scale is used to determine the damage to buildings, and not just anything the tornado damages.

those tornadoes were truly ore inspiring, thank you for blowing my mind hank.
My brother and I found what we thought was a box turtle on our street so we picked him up and kept him as a pet until he kept getting bigger and bigger. When he got truly huge, we found out that he was actually a desert tortoise and that we weren't allowed to have those so we gave him to the museum. Sadly, he contracted a contagious disease from the other tortoises and died. :,-( Rest in power, Tortie! And here we were concerned that the dog had been picking him up and taking him with her in her mouth.
