I had my grandma read me tornado books since before I could read. I’ve had a mild obsession ever since. But since I live up in the northeast we don’t get that much action. But I hope someday to see, hear, and experience a photogenic tornado in person. Until then, I look forward to your mastery of Cinematography each year. 2019 the year i lost everything in a house fire, missed out on three local tornadoes (Pendleton,IN Bentonville,IN Dayton,OH) just over all bad year i want to forget.
Tony Dratchev, I am so sorry for your struggles. I remember those tornadoes (live in Bloomington, IN), that was scary. I hope 2020 brings you much better things!
I also missed out on two major tornado events in Indiana last year (to add insult to injury Indiana is my home state), but I can't imagine dealing with a house fire. My sympathies and prayers, neighbor.
@fourtey idk if recovery will actually happen. insurance is a grand ripoff only thing i really got out of it was a house i have a deed to but needs at least 40k or more worth of work to be able to live in it. and well honestly i think the house will decay to a point where it has to be tore down before ill actually have money to work on it. so yeah lose lose on it.

7:00 its scary, not only the tornado itself, but how many people show up that can potentially slow down/block the path for each other if there is an urgent need to escape...
"Well, tornado season is over... Guess I'll go chase down wildlife in the outback now."
Bless this man.
Storms ramping back up there was just a EF5 tornado is Mississippi about 1 hour ago
There was an Ef 3 in Chattanooga to two days ago. Ran right past about a mile or two the main mall.
NOoo... everyone knows Big Twister season is mostly April and May! (:

Me, having an emotional funk during 2019:
Pecos Hank: *I can fix that*
Yes definitely good for cheering up anyone who has the blues....I was laughing my head off!
2019 was such a strange year for weather in the US. You got some incredible footage as always! So happy to finally have this video up! Let's hope 2020 provides some amazing storms and everybody stays safe as well.
What 2020 provided- Coronavirus

I’m so happy I know what tornadoes can do :D
You acting like tornadoes nee?

Lmao!
Now this was a 2019 year in review that was worth watching!
As he drives towards it lol.
“I think when these storms come together, something nasty is going to happen”..... Fart sound- that wasn’t me
Think about it like this:If that was him, at least nobody else had to smell it!😁😁😁! Ol' Pecos Hank's a really cool guy! I'd choose him over Captain Screamo, Reed Timmer, any day!
That cracked me up!!
Windbreaker's timing is flawless!😂
Hey, Good Fellow, thanks for making me smile and laugh a bit during a painful episode. I appreciate it. Even though it was from the video, quoting it in such way helped me. ♥
@@QueenEyolf This video made me laugh more than once, I'll admit. Hope you have a better day today! 😊
@12:47 "Glamorous Adagio" I listen to this song over and over! Sounds amazing on my late dad's 1987 Fisher stereo with 4' speakers. Yes 4 foot speakers.
You truly capture the magic that is mother nature, from weather, to landscapes, to animals. Thank you so much Hank for living the dream and making this Connecticuter’s day!
That's sad to hear sir.
OMG IM SO SORRY TO HEAR THAT!!
"We observed a brief, weak Tornado" - Pecos Hank
What my Close Caption says he said. "We absorbed a brief, weak Potato"
Good job Close Caption. Way to fail
Aslo is changing tornado to burrito....
I think someone did it on purpose. There's the auto-generated subs which are normal (I mean as normal as auto gen can get) and then there's just english subs which talk about burritos and potatoes.
Hank actually makes them
Way to go, Google Chrome! Google needs a team of linguistics experts that'll match wits with that bot or whatever it is, because I get the same problem when I try to listen to Google attempt to autotranslate something from, say, Korean to United States English, and it turns out to be utter nonsense!
MMine at some point said there might be a tomato crossing ahead. XD
"Boxed in like a turtle's pecker."
Thank you so much for that phrase.

this cracked me up more than anything. I might have to start watching with the CC.
bitch it’s me
Lol-me too. Never considered captions, but that’s freakin’ great!
Go home RUclips, you're drunk.
If I was an exec at Netflix I would be throwing money at this man to produce and direct a full length documentary on storm chasing. Maybe even make it a full season tv show with half hour episodes. These are the most entertaining videos on RUclips.
_"Guess who's back, back again

He is also the steve Irwin of animals trying to cross the road during a storm too
(Fart sounds) Hank: “wasn’t me” it was the seat. After all his chase vehicle is called “The wind breaker “. Great compilation Hank! I look forward to these every year! Storm season is coming!!
Anyone else amazed at how he sees these things so easily. Sometimes I have to pause or rewind to look for what he's talking about.
Sasha C. I just Love Hank and how he makes you want to learn and see everything he is sharing.
i like eating food and watching your videos, it doesn't matter what video really just as long as im watching something i’ll eat. i’m really invested in a lot of natural disasters, so i’ll be eating and on the screen there'll be a mix of tornados, volcanos, snowstorms and tsunamis. i dont know why but your channel is the one i keep coming back to :)
Im just gonna make this short, sweet and to the point.
This video epitomizes why you're not only the best, but miles ahead of the rest.
Thank you for providing us with informative videos during storm season, as well as educational and entertaining post-storm season analysis of a true, One Of a Kind Season.
Looking forward to any preseason vids you may have in the works, and of course, the vids from the actual storms as they're occurring. So..

I tell you, that intro is probably one of my favorite intros to anything ever. Those dramatic pieces of film with that song, it's definitely the most intense thing I'll see that isn't an actual tornado in person while listening to that song.
I grew up in tornado ally, and I’ve seen many tornadoes. I live in northern Sweden now, and I must say, the northern lights are one of the most life changing forces of nature I’ve ever seen. Truly incredibly powerful to witness in person.
Best chaser in the game in my opinion. The music is perfect and I love that it's his music he makes with his band
8:29 Pecos Hank: Calmly "Gotta go, gotta go~"
Same situation with Reed Timmer: "GO GO GO!! BACK UP! GOOOO!!!! STOP! WE'RE GOOD HERE!!! GOOOOOOOO! WE GOTTA F'N GOOO!!! STOP THE CAR WE'RE FINE! GOOO GO GO GO!!!!!!"
God one of his videos popped up in my recommended so I clicked it thinking it would be a calm storm chase but no, I went partially deaf when he started screeching like a banshee.
@@keiraedwards_ Not discrediting any of the things he's done for the storm chasing community or research he's done to help pave the way for data on tornados, but damn if I were chasing with him the storms aren't what would kill me, I'd die from an anxiety attack chasing with him lol
Kiddo VR Oh yeah haha I didn’t mean to say he hasn’t been an important part of the chaser community, but yeah, he’s very loud

Hank, I'm starting to hold you in as high regard as I did for Bob Ross and Steve Irwin. Your love of the natural world is admirable and on par with their's in my eyes. You don't mind this comparison and high admiration, do you?
Same
Randy Marsh I consider him more along the lines of "What if Steve Irwin also went storm chasing?"
His knowledge of local wildlife is on par with his knowledge of the weather, he's chill, he's enthusiastic about educating people, and he takes an awful lot in stride.
🤣
Who’s here from the 2022 video? I think I just found the best content in YT. Love everything about it.

how do people still find the "no one:" meme format still funny
@@hugo-zi6gm I haven't the slightest clue what the "no one meme" even is..
But, now when it comes to all things flatulent.. well.. that's a different story.
"Wind Breaker" is only one step above "Cheese Cutter" as far as respect and decency are concerned.
Trebor Ironwolfe the [no one:] meme is basically making fun of people who either speak to overcompensate, provide their opinion or world view without asking, or repeat something they’re famous for unsolicited. No one has said anything to prompt them speaking but they bombastically or randomly say something in a way that either suggests insecurity, arrogance, or silliness.
AAAAAH!!! I'm at work at the moment but OMG I've less than hour to go. I'm going to go home, make a cup a tea and settle into bed and watch this!!! 😭❤️🍵
