Betty's Deluxe Tuna Salad

- In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make delicious Tuna Salad and serve it on Sourdough bread. You may mix this recipe with a spoon or blend it in a blender for a finer mixture.
DELUXE TUNA SALAD
Ingredients:
2 cans tuna fish, drained
2 boiled eggs, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup purple onion, chopped
1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
1/4 cup pimientos, chopped
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cilantro
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 cup to 1 cup mayonnaise, as desired
Instructions:
In a medium-sized bowl, mix all ingredients together. If desired, place in blender and blend to desired texture (optional). Enjoy!

No idea why you popped in my mind today except that you had made a lasting impression on me when I watched years ago. Never forget how much we care for you, Betty and how many you touched “with class” in Betty’s Kitchen”.
I have my own grandchildren now as Seasons change and will look to the channel to review your good times with Carter or an interesting side or decor touch to make holidays extra special. My deepest condolences on Rick’s passing and that it was so evident how close you two were, prayers for you my friend on your continued journey.

My uncle worked at a tuna packing plant, and he was giving my mom and dad some cans, and my mom asked what brand the tuna was and he told her to pick the label/brand she wanted, it didn’t matter it was all packed at the same place, just different labels.

Honestly, I myself don't know where the time goes. I still can't believe it is 2023 and we are already in the middle of March. Your Deluxe Tuna Salad recipe looks delicious. I love tuna fish on sandwiches and in casseroles. If I remember many years ago you had a couple of recipes for tuna casserole. I'm going to look right now for them in your older videos. When I make mine tuna for sandwiches, I only put at times chopped celery or onions. And your recipe adds so many other healthy ingredients. From now on I'm going to make mine like yours. Thank you, Betty, and again I myself and I know many others are so glad to see you back.

Oh Betty this looks delicious!! I just bought that brand of sour dough bread last week for a specialty grilled cheese sandwich. I agree it’s a little more chewy but I love it toasted, especially! Looking forward to your next video!
I always prefer tuna in brine (salt) because whenever I’ve had it in water it tastes odd, fish like that in a can needs salt …Sandwich looks amazing! Miss your videos!
