San Cristobal de Las Casas 4K tour

San Cristobal de las Casas is an incredibly beautiful little town in the mountains of Chiapas, in southern Mexico.
San Cristobal is a little hippie town that attracts tons of people of all different kinds. I stayed at a lovely little hostel, La Isla Hostel, that did family meals and organized events. Most of the people there are looking to chill and relax, maybe do some huayasca.
There are not many things to do in San Cristobal but you can go to the gym, climb some of the surrounding hills, take tours to the local waterfalls (which will run you at least $60 a pop), or walk around the quaint downtown.
Just make sure that you do not even put the tap water in your mouth. I got sick for a week because I brushed my teeth with it.
You can get to the Guatemala border in 8 hours by car, bus or shuttle.
