4k is a sweet spot since even old classic movies are being released on 4k discs. I still buy 4k discs since I don't pay for any streaming service and I still buy cds as well since I don't stream my music. Some of the movies that I bought in blu ray ended up getting a 4k release date later when I intended on buying the 4k version from the get go since the 4k movies don't get announced for the release date and come out of nowhere whenever the blu ray version comes out before the 4k but most of the newer movies come with both a 4k and blu ray version, however certain movies that comes with the 4k discs also include the blu ray discs included with the 4k disc in the packaging. The discs also have higher quality than any streaming services since they are not compressed like the streaming services. But 4K is still relatively new. For example many films on Disney Plus like Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella & more recently Snow White have been given 'plastic surgery' from full HD to 4K resultion. In fact many films are being upscaled to 4K but the reason it has taken long is because there weren't many 4K TVs years ago but now 4K is the norm, we are getting more 4K content than ever before to meet today's standards in tv. 8K simply put is still only a 'baby' meaning it won't overtake 4K anytime soon, probably not for at least the next decade. 8K will likely be the norm by the mid to late 2030s by which time we will likely have more and more TVs that will play 8K content. But like 4K in which TVs were insanely too expensive, 8K TVs in time will be more affordable, especially once 12K tvs arrive, starting the process all over again.

Don't fall for this blatant marketing. 8k is dead and this TV is worse than 4k LCDs and even more 4k OLEDs, even from Samsung. When compared to 4k lcd like 65QN90B which is around 5 times cheaper, this TV has worse blooming, brightness and colors, while achieving the same sharpness with 99% of content. That's because: 1. There is no 8k content and there won't be more, no other manufacturer than Samsung sells 2023 8k mainstream models, mostly because of EU regulations which make comparable 8k tv much inferior to 4k at higher price, so there's no user base, so no incentive to make 8k content 2. Upscaling is the same in the whole Samsung model lineup, don't trust the marketing, the cheapest CU7 upscales just as well 3. Even when you have 8k content, 4k OLED still has better resolution due to infinite contrast, and you can't even see advantage of 8k at normal viewing distance, on top of that, due to having 4 times more pixels, 4 times less light gets through backlight so worse brightness, colors and more power draw. TLDR don't buy this TV and any other 8K TV, buy OLED or high end LCD, if it has to be Samsung then S95C and QN95C are the best tvs in each of these technologies offered by this company, both much better than QN900C and much cheaper too.
4 x HDMI is a joke for such an expensive TV, especially as 1 x HDMI will be taken up by eARC by a sound device. Also, just packing more pixels and upscaling by copying the same data over and over again or using some sort of AI to do it does not look totally natural and certainly not what the creators intended you to see! Unless there is genuine source 8K content available all this is BS for now imo .. just eye candy at the shops and people will fall for it as that is what marketing does!
Looks great but is it worth having for us? No it isn't, way too overpriced and there's barely any 8k content, better to buy a good 4k TV for now, maybe 8k for around 2030.

I say this as someone looking to replace my 2018 Samsung Q9FN. PC magazine stated the qn95c is brighter and in essence the 900c displays the same 4k quality picture for a whole lot more money since the 8k upscaling from a normal distance looks identical to 4k on the qn95c, so why pay so much more when there isn't 8k content? Oh wow, I have the same TV and the same IKEA cabinet, I got the 65" and unfortunately it collapses into the weak cabinet top eventually 😂and also, I DO NOT, recommend this TV, I'm on my third one and the panel quality is very poor. A lot was sacrificed in order to get to 8k. The TV also gets incredibly hot, warming up the space. Screen uniformity has also been awful on all 3 panels. Better off getting a 4K Oled, as other than RUclips, there is virtually zero content that takes advantage of 8K.
You need a device that can support and display 8K content. I don't think there's any in the meantime, unless you have a powerful gaming PC connected to the 8K TV. If not, then check out the RUclips app installed in the 8K TV. The TV's RUclips app can display up to 4320p/8K resolution. Keep in mind that most videos on RUclips aren't in 8K, let alone 4K at least. In order to watch 8K videos, you'll be searching for those '8K video demos' or the movie trailer videos that fans upscaled into 8K. I hope this helps.
How well does this television perform on the ps5? Televisions tend to have framerate issues (120) or lag on the ps5. The compatibility of the ps5 was mentioned in the video, but it still tends to be a problem. I just want to be sure. Anyone? Please and thanks!
I have the model before and I play Apex legends on ps5 and looks and performs great.. I have a 75 inch TV 8k. It really is a great TV. I just wish there was more 8K content. Almost had this model for 8 or 9 months and still not a lot. I would settle for a few shows or movies on Netflix or Amazon Prime.
I think people are missing the point about “8k not being available “. With me, it’s about maximizing 4k content. I would absolutely buy this tv if I can get all of the benefits of oled without the risk of burn in. There is a reason Samsung named this their flagship tv.

For those smartasses... you dont have to have 8k content to benefit from this tv... dobt forget it also plays 4k...with more dimming zones=better blacks
Movies/blueray 4k dvd’s are not technically made in 4k as advertised their 2k, so it’s all fake advertising to get u to buy, there is some actual 4k footage out there but looking for it is hard
A poor review just to justify getting an oled. Enjoy your burn-in. Samsung TVs still reign supreme!
LG Samsung Sony u can't go wrong with any of them !
Those glasses 👓 don't leave his face 😂
where can I get 8 k content?
I guess you didn’t watch whole video 🤪 check 2:45
@@jeffmaynard6110it literally proves no value 8k content right now.
So 8k gaming is not a thing i guess with that hdmi 2.0 no display port for 8k euro sadge LUL
But Samsung is giving me a full refund as the screen has had shading dark spots in the back light. First they repaired it and then 10 months later did it again. I love this TV and even though if has broken twice I stand by Samsung and how easy it is to use. I will probably up grade now to the newer model.
I think the panel is made by TCL.
I don’t think so Samsung is one of the largest company that sell panel, even in iphones.
Woww
Hpw does it compare to an LG offering 8K?
This 8k tv also cost 8k USD as well, Mind that
This Samsung TV is mind-blowing 😮
Absolutely critical information missing… No Dolby Vision.
Which one is better Sony A80L, LG G3 or this one? 🤩
G3 is still the best imo
MENTIRA DESSE GAROTO PROPAGANDA. COM 1 ANO e 3 MESES DE USO ESSA MESMA TV DEU PROBLEMA DE TELA. CONCLUSÃO: R$ 24.000,00 FOI O ORÇAMENTO DA PRÓPRIA SAMSUNG PARA CONSERTAR😡😡😡👿👿😈😈
Nice but these days most people don't have$15000.00 for a TV for a stupid pretty girl to sit next to the besides games are 4k and now they aren't ready all of a sudden, beautiful picture but I'll get 15 years out of my 4 k TV and die😊, upscale is nice but Nit 8 k it's enhanced.
This generation is already gone.
Let at least in 8k manufacturers start making TV in the ratio of 21/9!
I want to watch movies on the big screen!
8k tvs are a waste of money,,,4k is been around for quite a while, and we're not even close of having 100% content in 4k ,,,,,,now is either 1080p,,,1080p enhance to 4k,,,and 4k moving slowly,,,,why bother with 8k when 8k content is not available...
The only issue with buying an 8k TV is there's no 8k content yet. It prob won't be for several years until it's the standard. I'll stick with my Samsung S90C 😊
imagine watching a video about 8k tv with a 4k quality on youtube while you have a monitor 1080p
Samsung is manipulating customers with making higher contrast it’s eye catching but after long watching your eyes will strain because of high contrast .. Sonys colours are Eye soothing soft and super immersive with real colours.. in Samsung screen is whitish foggy type
No one can beat Sony Bravia..
Samsung is really good till is working, but the screens are dying after a year and I will never touch this brand again. If you do better get extra warranty or insurance or something
How would you connect 8k consoles when hdmi is limited to 4k???
Consoles don’t even have anything 8K to output yet anyways by the time they do I’m pretty sure they’ll have a new HDMI
Also I think HDMI 2.1 outputs 8K
I will never buy Samsung tv,had 3 flagships in a row, two of them have same issues, nothing was fixed in couple of years. One of them died just in 3 years span.
Honestly?...I wonder what would be the maximum resolution a person can see and discern between one resolution or another? Of course, there's more to it than that, but I'm just talking about resolution.
Anyone chime-in?
This shit looks crazy 🥹
I'm waiting for more affordable 8k oled. £25k is a bit steep! I still think 4k oled is the best option wven looking at all the 2024 releases
It really is a great TV. I just wish there was more 8K content. Almost had this model for 8 or 9 months and still not a lot. I would settle for a few shows or movies on Netflix or Amazon Prime.
Awesome I spend multi thousands of hard earned money to only watch RUclips videos for justifying wasting my money
I think people are missing the point about “8k not being available “.
With me, it’s about maximizing 4k content.
I would absolutely buy this tv if I can get all of the benefits of oled without the risk of burn in.
There is a reason Samsung named this their flagship tv.
Looking for a new tv to replace my 1080p 80 inch tv. This might do it but not a tiny one like in the video I'd have to get the 85 inch or I wish they made a 90 plus inch
Is it OLED? I want to buy right now, I have big pockets.
You only enjoy the quality when playing games and watching RUclips most TV shows and movies don't shoot 8k
QLED Smart SAMSUNG 75QN900B, 8K, HDR, 189cm is 2.5k E
Hi mustapha from algeria nice bro: why until now not use usb type C this make one connect box more slim wow and maybe can use in power hope say that to sumsung hhh than send to me this new tv 85 gift
Probably a great product but obviously won't say anything negative considered they sponsored the video.
INDEED YOU HAVE VERY STRONG ARGUMENTS ON BUYING THIS EX-ENSIVE TV : ALEXA TELL ME THE WEATHER IN MY ARIA ..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Considering there ain't that much choice for 8K TV, Samsung undoubtedly will be one of the best choices.
There's no choice for a reason
But the Sony one looks better with their processing
Lg 8k oled 😊
I have a question..i have 75 900b and can i put on this tv govee camera for Ambilight or this can destroy a tv panel?
A beast!! Wow.
Why did they bring back the horrible one connect box. That thing always had issues in the past.
8k is not 4 times 4k on tv`s.... they have cheated 8K = 2 4K side bye side, just to let you know
Is the stand that the TV sits on for the 85" the same size? Does anyone know what the specific dimensions are for the 85" tv stand for this brand model?
Big screen with higher display very nice
Wow🤩 🇺🇿💙
so i have questions about upscaling if i watch anything from any app will it upscale it to 8k best it can? and how about if i plug in a pc or console?
More crap we don’t need. Thanks.
Wow
Stupid question but ima ask anyway. Is it compatible with apple?
My dream
Samsung screen is the best in the world, that's why i love the all tech samsung❤
