I remember when I started the show, I thought episode 1 was a bit meh, but episode 2 slowly picked up, by the end of the episode with Shorsey heading through the gauntlet, I was hooked

I can't think of a sitcom that uses music so well as this. They mostly feature Canadian artists too. It's cool to see them pull off representation that doesn't feel forced.

This is literally one of the most perfect pieces of cinematography I have ever seen. I watch this one or twice a day to get myself fired up. Headphones on, volume maxed.

These scenes feel like a real scenario.
They're based on what they do up there lol, there isn't much to do in these small towns if you've seen Letterkenny. Half the show is about fighting or partying after the work is done, cause that's what they really do lol

Shorsey watches what happens to Sanguinet the one night, makes sure he goes in with Goodie, Cock and Dolo the next. Perfect. Could have sent the Jims but that would have been overkill.
I'm of two minds about this scene. A) He didn't have to look around to know they had his back. B) He really didn't care that there were 3 of them and the result would have been the same.
The answer is A and B. He didn’t care that there was 3 of them, he was still going to answer the bell and he knew that his teammates would have his back.

I kinda love Nat there at the end in the bar. Any other show she'd be the type of character that'd be all "oh no, a bar fight, somebody stop it". Here, she's got that "there's my boys. fuck yeah" look.

This clip shows why Shoresy is the captain of the team. First, the demonstration of how he looks after everyone. Then the response of the entire team at the rink. Well done story writing. Simple but perfectly precise.

This a great example of team building. They guys had their teammates back! Even the owner of the team approved. Totally badass and the way it should be!!
I loved her reserved smile at the fight. She still wanted to see more but was enjoying some satisfaction of finally having fighters on her team.
Love the fist bump Hitch and Goody share in the tunnel, went from ringers being brought in to help a struggling team, to brothers in battle on the ice

Best lesson I ever learned playing hockey and lacrosse, was that team bonding doesn’t happen “team building exercises”, but rather over a keg and shoulder to shoulder with a teammate in a fight. Guys will bond real quick if they know their teammates have their back when shit hits the fan.

I worked for Boart Longyear and ended up in a massive fight at a hotel at the 4 corners in Sudbury. Do any old Sudbury guys remember these places. I loved that town, if you lived there you either manned up, or moved out 😂

I remember back in 1993 I was a high school kid who was good friends with all the guys on the local hockey team and was hanging out as a team "manager". I was a water and stick boy with the mouth of Shoresy. I remember we were at a party and I was wasted sitting on a couch and a guy that we didn't know came up and said "I heard you like to fight?". It was true, I liked to slap around my hockey boys, slamming them into lockers and wrestling them down to the ground. One of my 6'1" friends was sitting next to me and he struggled to sit up. Then, all of a sudden there were 3 other hockey friends and a 19-year old football coach asking this guy if he wanted a problem. He ran "walked" away.
