    The absolute peak of the mcu, back when they put actual effort into movies, barely any streaming series's, and when the VFX team wasn’t being overworked into making so many movies and shows in one year.

      @peterulfstedt6448 5 лет назад +124

      Wasif Kamal there is no true or false endings...
      In infinity war is just more realistic ending, i think thanos deserve win with all what he lost and everything he did. In endgame Avengers just shown how egoistic and dumb they are.

    • @Musashi139
      @Musashi139 5 лет назад +21

      Yorkie look I get you’re all for team thanos but IW ending was never the true ending. It could have never ended at just that. The rest of the 50% of population would always come to make Thanos pay one way or another especially now that his army is gone and he is weak after the snap (I.e the first 10 minutes of endgame where they jumped his ass). So him sitting in his porch at the end of IW not knowing what’s next is neither a true or realistic ending. It’s a cliff hanger which literally ended with ‘Thanos will return’. The most realistic ending is the first 10 minutes of Endgame. The most complete ending is the end of endgame.

      Agreed, I think Endgame is what infinity war was supposed to be. What we wanted it to be. A movie full of awesomeness, and superheroes, and fighting, and a satisfying ending. Endgame was built like a movie. Like a good one. But Infinity war was genius. Infinity war left on such an unsatisfyingly satisfying ending. while it was awful, horrible, and not what we wanted. The heroes lost. It was also just..genuis and simple. The heroes lost. Thanos won. If the MCU ended on that, yes it would break hearts. But it would be genius. Infinity war was meant to be horrible to watch. It wasn't supposed to be a fun movie to watch. Dude...It was AWFUL to watch. In fact I didn't even like it. I didn't like it at all. I HATED it. Every minute of it. And that's the point. And that to me is genuis. This movie was so horrific in a way that I can't describe. But yeah...It was genuis.

      The protagonist being a villain is already done with movies like wreck-it-ralph and megamind.
      It's the fact that the villain wins, still as a protagonist, but without a redemption (in a way, thanos didn't need one to begin with).

    After watching Endgame I was happy because I know that Thanos died with the sense of accomplishment. It did not matter that he was beheaded! Thanos had already done what he wanted and was just waiting for the moment of his death, the Avengers only advanced!
    As for Thanos at the end of the movie, he still did not have all the maturity of Thanos from Infinite War, he was not yet the character we loved, he was not someone who kept in his goal a reason to continue living, on the contrary, he tried to burn a few steps to finish his mission and was penalized by it.
    Thanos won! No matter what happened next! He died in peace with himself and rested in peace and will be forever in history!

    Doctor Strange: Oh yeah. You’re much more of a Thanos.
    Thanos: I take it the Maw is dead. This day extracts a heavy toll. Still, he accomplished his mission...
    Doctor Strange: You may regret that. He brought you face to face with the master of the Mystic Arts.
    Thanos: And what do you think he brought you?
    Doctor Strange: Let me guess... your home?
    Thanos: It was. And it was beautiful. Titan was like most planets: too many mouths, not enough to go around. And when we faced extinction I offered a solution.
    Doctor Strange: *Genocide.*
    Thanos: But random. Dispassionate, fair to rich and poor alike. They called me a madman. And what I predicted came to pass.
    Doctor Strange: Congratulations, you’re a prophet.
    Thanos: I’m a survivor.
    Doctor Strange: Who wants to murder trillions.
    Thanos: With all six stones I can simply *snap* my fingers. And they’ll all cease to exist. I call that: *MERCY*
    Doctor Strange: And then what?
    Thanos: I finally rest. Watch the sunrise on a grateful universe. The hardest choices require the strongest wills.
    Doctor Strange: I think you’ll find our will equal to yours!
    Thanos: Our?
    FUN FACT: Did you know when Thanos said he’ll watch the sunrise on a grateful universe a short preview of the ‘Porch’ music was playing. The Russo brothers foreshadowed the whole thing.

    The reason why I love this ending is because the villain actually succeeds,something most films don’t do
    EDIT:This is just from personal experience. Zemo did have a very very big impact on the Avengers,but Thanos had an even bigger impact. I may be wrong,but just please don’t attack me

      TwentyPastFour fax totally forgot about him. Probably one of the most important villains in the mcu because he divided the avengers and thanos caught them off guard when they weren’t together.

      Plenty of great films have done it.

    So notice at 0:24 on the bottom right corner that thanos has this armor up as a scarecrow like in the comics and recently in the new trailer for Endgame.

    I love this version of thanos.. he was never blinded by any emotion only purpose to save the universe.... I believe we all felt like rooting for him for his sheer determination against all odds.. a far better character compared to hos comic version.. he seems noble and his victory deserved..

    I don't think I've ever smiled with joy at a villain who accomplished his goal before. *Dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same*

    I still remember this ending left me speechless. This is the first time in my entire life that a villain won instead of the heroes. Man, even the whole people in the cinema were shocked, confused and speechless why it end like that.
