I have the indy 500 255/35/19 and they are amazing. I get no tire squeals and squeaks with hard accel. My 0-60 is sub 5 seconds at sea level with the similar mods as you without the prl intercooler and different downpipe (rv6). Just some baseline for you to use when you install your wheels and tires :)
Michelin CrossClimate 2.... I've had them for 15k miles and they're amazing... Zero hydroplaning and they handle snow like an AWD vehicle. Worth every cent.
I've had good luck so far (4k miles) with the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06. Big traction difference over the stock Michelins. My car has no modifications yet. Also, you must own stock in Under Armour.
I just got back from the road track and I can definitely tell you the stock all season Michelins are not cutting it. Tires would be a must for anyone wanting more performance out of their Accord.
Was looking to see how wide I could go with the stock wheel and a 1" drop so as soon as I heard you were going with an 18" wheel I got sad and depressed.
You’re going to love the 4S’s. I installed them in a 245/40R20 on my 2.0T and they are phenomenal. Expensive for sure, but they are quiet, smooth, and have a ton of grip. You’ll have every passenger reaching for the grab handle in corners and highway on/off loops. Not to mention they also have excellent wet performance and hydroplaning resistance. Treadwear is too soon to really tell, but so far they are holding up well given the soft compound and I haven’t had any issues with odd wear or balancing. Best of luck and thanks for your videos!
I have michelin pilot sport all season on my stage 4 fbo 2.0 6 speed.the grip, turns and all around proformance circling back but......like no WHEEL SPIN thing just hooks now!!!!!!!
I like General G-Max Rs. Cheap when compared to Michelin Pilots. Great performance, ride, and no noise. Tire rack ranked them 2nd to Pilots. I had them on my 16 dodge challenger rt scat pack 392 shaker 6mt. Sure I could lite them up if I wanted to but with good throttle control they grip pretty well.
@@TheLemonFactor I’m thinking of getting the same size at the stocks, I don’t wanna buy new rims and I’m just looking for a quieter ride. If I had the 2.0 with more power then it would be a different story.

I have a white 21 sport 2.0 with glints. My continental pure contacts were put on car when cst was brand new. I have 39k right now on these purecontacts with 4/32 and 5/32 left. Tires are choppy from wheel hop as expected so changed to the 6mt upper torque mount. Would a 245-40 be better for ride and comfort? I live in northeast. Rrally like continental but planning to try something else. Any suggestions..also im stock. 2.0 is my daily
For any car that has the same size tires at all four corners, and that will have the tires rotated in the traditional manner, I absolutely recommend changing all four at the same time.
Being in Denver will you only be testing the new wheel / tire combo for a short while until you store them for the winter? The PS4’s are the sh!t from what I read and hear. I went with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 summer tires purely based on cost. I only run them for about 4 months and I’ll be back on my all-seasons in October. I’m interested in the look and stance of your Accord with the 18’s and the wider tires.
Can't get too much better then those Michelins Chad. Good choice. Curious on the rims you chose. Got my Eibach rear sway bar and H&R springs coming anyway now. I'm gonna have them both installed same time. 😎
I'm looking to downsize my 21 accord hybrid touring from the stupid 19" they come with to the 17" everyone else gets. I would like to stick with Honda but it looks like the cheapest route is to get some third party rims (I don't want to mess with looking for black rims online used). I thought about trying to sell my 4 tires and rims cheap after I get the new ones on but maybe I'll just put performance tires on them down the road or winter tires for when I visit friends in harsher climates... hmm apologies for being the 70th comment
Did you make the switch? I have a 2024 Accord hybrid touring. The 19 inch wheels and low-profile tire combination is awful. You feel every single bump and there’s a ton of road noise. I’m seeing a lot of information about switching to 17 inch wheels and higher profile tires for a smoother, better ride experience. Let me know if you did it and thanks 👍🏼

Thank you! That is a helpful reference point, especially considering my altitude 👍

I’ve heard and read a lot of good things about them 👍
@@TheLemonFactor They're for sure a game changer!!! The traction in dry, wet, icey, and snowy conditions is great. Well worth the money.
Now that I think about it, my wife may have them on her vehicle 🤔
Thanks!
Thanks for the love, Viking_Jerk!!! Your support of the channel helps out a lot.

I have them too. Really great all around tire for the money!
@ Jeff - I had the Continentals on my last car and wanted to try something new this time around 😁
How is the road noise with those tires?
Which tires, the Continentals or the Michelin’s?
@@TheLemonFactor The continentals.
I ended up going with 245/40/19 Firehawk Indy 500s. Holy cow they grip like no other
I was considering them based on all the positive feedback, but they’re not available in the size I was looking for 🤷♂️.
I got the Michelin PS AS4 245/40/19 from Costco. Would be installing them next week.
This channel is so underrated
😊👍😁

Totally agree! With all the torque available early in the power band, it’s too easy to break loose the OEM tires 🤷♂️

Thank you, Hayden! I am enjoying them - they’re unbelievably sticky and ride surprisingly well 👍
LOL, I was noticing the same effect (passengers and grab handles) with my DWS 06+ and thinking 'What's wrong with these pansies?', its only an Accord!
@@gregorydunn2716 ha, I say that every day… it’s just an accord! 😂
Looking forward to seeing 265/40/18 tires was debating between 255 or 265 and have not seen many on 265. Can't wait to see them on your car!
I’ll be releasing the “reveal” video on Saturday, so stay tuned 😉
I love the shock absorbing curve hanging strong sidewalls 740 wear out rating .
Just got some 245/40r19 installed and it caused errors pop up on my dash like stability control and brake system errors any else get this issue ?
Goodyear Assurance Comfort Drive grand touring are made for the Accord and Maximas etc.

I put Goodyear Assurance Comfort Drive tires 235//40 R19 OEM on my 2020 Honda Accord 2.0T touring model!
Are they quiet and how is the ride?
Thanks for all this detailed information!
My pleasure. I’m glad you found it helpful 😁
Nice content. Live in Florida so summer tires it is! Gonna be hard to pick tho.
I’ll be doing a quick review of the PS4, but I’ll tell you now that I’m really liking them 👍
Sweet. From what I’ve seen and heard it’s hard to go wrong with them. These cars need traction.
I've upgraded to the Continental DWS 06+ 245/35 r19 on the stock wheels, my speedo registers +3 mph at around 75mph
How do you like the tires so far ? Now that the stock tires on my car are pretty worn out I was thinking of getting these in the same size.
Great info, I'm still debating if if I should switch my Michelins to something else when the time comes.
The new Tires make a huge difference 😎
I’m thinking of getting the BFGoodrich Advantage Control’s for my 2018 1.5T

What do you think about going with a 245/40/19 vs the stock 235/40/19 on a stock 2018 accord? any benifits going a little wider?

If you’re looking for a long wear, all-season, have you considered the Michelin CrossClimate 2, or SS 4?
@TheLemonFactor have not..wasn't impressed with the primacys that came on car..Will check them out
@AG-yv8yb agree the OEM tires were garbage 🫤
