Step 1: Buy the 2.0t
Step 2: KTUNER!!!
Step 3: Wheels and tires
Anything else is optional
one more important step, very easy to install too...
upper torque mount 62A bushing is absolutely needed if you tune the car
I need to save for step 3 :)
thicker sway bar
we liking these alex, keep 'em coming!
I got the '18 brand new from the dealer since it was too good of a deal to pass up since the dealer knew it would be hard to sell a manual version of the car in Cosmic Blue (it looks purple-ish at sunset). Alex was keeping the mods pretty general, but for anyone with a manual you should get an ACUITY Shifter Rocker. It makes the horizontal shifter movements shorter making your shifts sportier and faster as well. Other than that I was happy with the car with just putting Borla catback exhaust, intake, and then tuning it. That combo will keep up with any S3 or S4 easily on the road and no one will ever complain about having to sit in the back seat. It is a really good just do it all car and i has Honda reliability so you can go get a second car to hoon in.
Coilovers, TE37s, Yofer Body Kit, and a Type R Turbo
PRL*
@@dexterous2513 I heard good things about the MHI stage 2 turbo
YOFER BODY KIT IS CRINGE
Is the Type R turbo different than the turbo in the 2.0?
Thank you bro! Voice is so recognizable!
The intro was great and hilarious 😂
We need you to start the so you want series here Alex!!!!
My dream daily is this car and I daily drive a 2016 2.4L LX right now, maybe in a few years I'd love to get one of these 2.0L Touring Accord's.
get it man i have a 2019 2.0 touring and it’s the most comfortable honda i’ve ever owned
I almost traded in my 2019 2.0t 6speed sport a few months ago and honestly I am glad that prices are insane and I rethought it completely. A CR-V wouldn't begin to compare.
I love my 21 touring 2.0t 10at it’s a blast to drive especially since I upgraded the tires and put on some bc coilovers, only have a ktuner on it at the moment the acr front lip and some interior mods like ambient light she’s really comfortable especially daily drive to work.. only plans I have for her is a down pipe and Intercooler and I’m set.
What tires did you go with?
Down pipe is not worth the money. Only gets an additional 5hp at best. Better off going phearable for the money.
Yes, I agree! My 2018 sport 2.0t is amazing! I always think of trading it in but interest rates for loans are so high these days unfortunately. I upgraded my tires to 255/35/ZR 19 ultra high-performance all season tires… Continental extreme contact DWS06+ tires. Love them. They hook up when it’s raining, They look good, excellent grip, and they look aggressive! 😊
The 10 speed autos are the ones that are pretty wicked from what I've heard.
Truth, I bought a '19 2.0t sport w 10spd auto, I love it every day! I might mod it one day, but stock it still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. It wants to GO!
Im planning on going with PRL HVI intake, RV6 Catted down pipe, titanium inlet, prl intercooler, & PRL front pipe. Already ended up installing a yofer body kit with work wheels. Need new tires tho
Do the 9th gen ! 🔥🔥
*Got me a manual 2020 2.0t sport with only 10k milles about 2 months ago. Needless to say I've been enjoying the f out of it. Best car I've owned. I already have wheels and suspension on the way for it. I went with BC Racing extreme lows and a set of sf08's!. I'm excited ASF and planning to keep this car for as long as I live*
How r u liking those if u put them on ive been looking around for the same type of things? Thanks
@@1jeffcanes Bc extreme lows are a solid 10/10. Being able to change dampness is key 👌🏼
Wheels have arrived but I haven't mounted them to the car yet. Winters around the corner and don't want to mess them up. Gonna wait for summer to throw them on.
bro how did you find one, are you comfortable sharing how much u paid?
@@nathanrybn I got it from CarMax and I paid 31k
@@nathanrybnu can easily find them online for around 1195 or so
Is it crazy I find my self in between buying a 2.0t 10th gen or a s550 Gt mustang? I need help deciding tbh
I have a 19 2.0 with a stick and love it
@martiniworks - the site filters are a little buggy. Looking up my car, it gets hung up on the trim category and won’t let me see parts for my car (‘19 accord). 😘
Getting rid of the 2.0t for the 11th gen is criminal. Honda complained that only 10% of accords sold with that motor, which is still ALOT considering that they sold 200k of these a year and the 2.0t is 1/3rd of the motor AND this isn't the only Honda Motor group car with this engine/trans combo.
At least 2-3 out of 5 I work on at my Honda dealership are 2.0s lol. I absolutely love these cars
The car grew on me, i didn’t like it at first and im not thrilled they switched to 4 cylinder 2.0 turbo 😐 they should’ve NEVER replaced the v6 3.5L engine, they should’ve made a v6 3.5 type R or Si or whatever 🥺
Ya they really messed up hoping to get a 21 accord touring 2.0T on Monday with low miles
Do one for the 1.5 t
Stay making great content 😂
Yo man I’m stuck between getting a 2019 Honda accord 10th gen or 2015 Subaru wrx sti. I want to mod them but I’m not sure which to get. Can I get some help? Please!
Wish I got the 2.0. Ended up just widebodying my 1.5 😂 couldn't do much performance so went the show route
Bro I had the 1.5 civic touring and my old man legit said this thing has no power, moved up to the 2.0 accord sport, hit the gas and gave the old man whiplash 😂
Oh yea I brought my wife 2018 black 1.5 turbo with standard, she 😍love her car.. I’m just curious which 1.5 or 2.0 big different?
What's your Instagram I want to see your build
@@redtoyotatacoma7521 it’s my wife’s car, i don’t touch her car, leave like that alone, she love her car 😅😅👍🏾 I’m just curious what different about 2.0
@@Raccoon_cajun420significantly more power, bigger turbo and just generally better build, more reliable than the 1.5t from what I’ve heard, the 1.5t are not doing so well
I just bought a 2021 2.0T touring 3 days ago! 😊🎉
I wanted to upgrade to a CTR turbo but i don't think i want to do that anymore. Rather not mess with that and just do an intercooler, downpipe, intake, tune and call it a day.
the 6mt v6's are so damn good ESPECIALLY the coupe
1. Exhausts are a waste of money on these cars and add virtually zero power. If anything, do an exhaust delete to get a deeper exhaust note with absolutely zero drone.
2. 20" wheels are great if you want to make your car slower. If you want to go quicker, a light pair of 18" wheels is your best bet, like a set of RPF1's.
3. Don't avoid the 2018 model year. There were issues with the 1.5's, NOT the 2.0's. Anyone who tells you to avoid the 2018's doesn't necessarily know what they're talking about.
4. If you want a good CAI that will actually add a few extra HP at the wheel and give you some nice intake/turbo noises, the PRL is great, but the Mishimoto intake adds the exact same (small) amount of power (4-6whp) but has a removable carbon fiber 'lid' which you can remove in colder months to get a little extra woosh. Or if you don't drive much or never sit in traffic in warmer months, leave it off if it's not affecting your IAT's and you don't have to worry about heat-soak.
5. The 10 speed is a better transmission if you're adding a lot of power and, by a LARGE margin, is most likely the best automatic trans Honda has ever made. There are quite a few 10AT's with well over 400whp/tq and the auto trans can hold that much power with no issues (depending on how hard you drive it) but the manual won't last nearly as long/handle that much power.
couldnt have said it better bro. i sold my old 2019 10speed 2.0 for a profit and im repurchasing one again and planning on doing literally what u said LMFAO the zero drone
Ktuner
Type r turbo
Intercooler charge pipes
Maybe a intake
No need for down pipe or front pipe studies show it doesn’t really affect the flow instead get some sticky tires 🤝🏾
dam, i got kanseis on mine wish i coulda been featured
I got a 2022 accord sport 1.5
What wheels did the last car have in the blue color 🤔
Do a 9th gen accord coupe
Got 21’ 2.0t 10speed. Best purchase I’ve made
I just bought the same car. Have you done anything to it?
@@camdenyinger6396my lady bought hers January 1st and so far shit running like a mf, so far just got a ktuner and running stock stage 2 tune which added crazy power, from the dynos I’ve seen arnd w the ktuner stage 2 tune u get 300hp/375tq, pretty solid gains, once turbo hits is a whole different demon
Is it ok to tune up a 1.5? Or do you think it can break down?
most don't recommend tuning the 1.5T. Some will tell you to stop at 250 hp but I would not mess around and just trade it in for a 2.0T.
I’m late, but any answer you find is gonna contradict the next. Get you a trans cooler, focus on dropping as much weight as you can, turbo/throttle response, and get you a little bit of power in there. You genuinely should be okay. I think most people are completely overblowing the “inability” of the cvt.
Why did you leave Fitment Industries?
hey i took the thumbnail pic
I have the 2020 1.5 accord i dnt care about making it faster all i whant is to make it look cool and louder simple 😅
9th gen accord next
Such a slept on platform
I’ll keep my 97 Accord until then ❤
Still got my 97 too! I can’t kill it!!!
I'm jealous. One day I'll pick up another 5th gen.
I wish I kept my 2.0. All I did was throw ktuner with phearable and Indy 500 tires and it was a great highway puller.
Those tires fit stock wheels?
@@Fecho00 yep. I think I went a little wider than stock tire size. Still a bit of chirp but wayyyy better than tires that were on it.
@@coreyclark75 245 maybe ? I think that’s the widest you can go with stock sport rims
@@Fecho00 from what I remember, yes. 245/40/19 I should’ve put lighter rims on the car due to them being pretty heavy wheels. But weight may have helped the car launch properly.
This car should have came with launch control tbh, launching in 2nd makes u spin like no tomorrow
Need to start doing some advertisement work on this channel here
branched from DM got ur own thing
How to modify an 11am accord ?
'21 Touring might be the best car I have ever owned.
Sweet thanks Alex! Bought a 2019 Accord 2.0t Touring that I’m slowly modifying as my daily. I did just grab it, so thus far it’s just cosmetics.
Any suggestions? I just got mine in sonic grey and want it to look a little more aggressive

4 months ago an accord wasnt 25k lol. also I dont think any heads for after market on this car. at least I havent seen any

How to modify a 2013 hyundai genesis coupe?
Sell it for next to nothing, get a different car
sell it
Did you leave the other company?
Whatever you do, don’t get the borla catback, from experience… sounds horrible lol
Ok, this guy sounds like Chandler from Friends.
We just need an LSD for our 10 speed AUTO. Someone please make one
How much $$$ do you need to kick a 5.0 GT?
Have a 1.5 too scared to do anything past 300hp without blowing something up
What have you done to is so far
Ive always liked accords more than civics.
Like we fuckin get it the 2.0 is great but way can u do with the 1.5 my friend sold me the 1.5 not telling me there even was a 2.0 or I would have gotten that
3RD VIEWERRR!!!
10spd is way better as a daily and obviously faster. Many ppl are making 400ish hp with just a turbo upgrade and flex fuel.
Just add cooked 🍳 rice 🍚
2.0t best car for everything lmao
why are you yelling dude?
whats the difference between civic and accord?
Civic smaller, Accord bigger. These days the difference is harder to tell.
Stock
Manual is okay but it’s not faster then an automatic u can’t shift faster then the computer so the whole 2.0 manual Ooopooh app wat .. wat can u do wit the 1.5 tho .. the 2.0 is not much faster then the 1.5 I drove em both can’t u just swap out internals or something and be able to handle
More boost
Please do 11th gen civic 🙏🏼
Pretty much the same as 10th gen civics. But itd be nice if he did but i wouldnt hold your breath
You 10th gen honda accord owners better save that 3k-5k on buyung a new turbo and motor down the road😆😆
Tell that to those of us who've already had them for five years and started modding on day one, have almost 100k miles and zero issues with anything other than recalls. Try again.
You mean 1.5 owners
How to modify an accord?
Sell it and buy anything else

Sounds like he’s off his meds.
And lowering a street sedan that much ruins the ride.
Summer rubber will allow you to use more of that 252 hp. Adding 100 more is just high school bs.
Somehow I doubt you will care, but you pissed me off by being ageist and by not really having a clue about ALL the differences between the Civic and the Accord. Fine. Not my guy. Not my channel.
Don't they are unreliable as fu*k
