- As suggested by BryanRivelli, I have created a new trailer for an alternate version of Freddy vs Jason with the new Freddy, Jackie Early Haley, and the new Jason, Derek Mears, duking it out for the final battle. Now this took a lot of time and I had to watch both movies countless times to create this after BryanRivelli's suggestion and this is the final product. It's not my best works but it is quite entertaining to watch. This is the Freddy vs. Jason of our generation but I still feel that Jackie Early Haley couldn't match up to Robert Englund no matter how scary he was. Seriously, Jackie Early Haley was the best, and probably the only, choice that any one could make. No one could do it better than him, except Robert Englund of course. I guess the rule is, as Sidney Prescott said in Scream 4: "Don't fuck with the original".

Damn! This is an awesomely badass trailer. I wish it were real. Great editing and nice mixing together some of the clips from FvsJ, and both of Freddy & Jason's remakes. Again, great job! :)
I had hoped that the remakes were successful cause I loved them both I thought Derek Mears as Jason and Jackie Early Haley as Freddy did a fantastical job in bringing these guys back to life I had hopes that they would actually fight eachother more brutal more vicious than the original Freddy vs. Jason.
@theresistancerises I love how you integrated the two characters into one seamless trailer. It takes a lot of talent to do something like that
that was fantastic, major kudos man. the way you got Earle Haley and Mears to interact was fantastic, and it was edited with such professional skills makes this quite believable as the real deal. my only problem is that i never fully bought Jason as the main antagonist or character of the friday the 13th series, he was only a full-blown villain in the sequel, and him being a live takes from the character of Ms. Vorhees from the first film.

@iheartslashers Jason was more of a tool for Freddy in the first act i think, then he became sort of an anti-hero.

@theresistancerises on the Freddy vs. Jason idea, it works pretty well, especially with Jason not being the main antagonist and maybe even a character you can root for (at least in some parts of the movie), i think Mears really tried to make the character more human, and he did a great job as Jason, seeing his Jason facing Earle Haley's Freddy would be truly an epic visage.

I think it would be awesome taking both new horror figures and matching them in an alternate version. Obviously it wouldn't match up to the original, but I would still like the portrayal on screen. Anyone disagree?

I agree with cheezkid. Fuckin incredible. I prefer the Robert Englund version of Freddy, but J.E.H. wasn't too bad either, from what I've read online.
@theresistancerises yeah, but my main thought was that Mrs. Voorhees was motivated by the fact that her son died in such horrific ways that the psychological scars just made her the slasher killer she was in the 1st film, only for Jason to turn out alive, which makes the whole first film feel pointless. sure, she didn't knew he was alive, but it still feeled pointless. a remake of the very first film with Kathy Bates as Ms. Voorhees could be entertaining though.

By inspiration I'm using some Tron Legacy footage to try and make a spidey 2099 fan trailer... got like 30 seconds in then started doing an Avengers vs. X-men trailer... 20 seconds in, I was downloading footage for Batman/Spider-man XDD
