I'm actually glad she doesn't want to come back. As much as I miss Christina on the show, the ending the character got was perfect for her. I think once the show officially announces it's final season, it would be nice though for Sandra Oh to come back for one episode or to even just pop up on a Skype call for a bit!

I mean, I adored Cristina and it is sad, but Killing Eve is so damn good and fresh. Honestly, I think these days Grey's is just kinda... eh (shrug). Can't really blame her. Let's face it, she had the show's best years.

100% agree. I was pretty bummed when she left but.. I'm reeaally glad she did. I shudder to think what the writers would have done to her character. Because, to be blunt, most of the characters are insufferable now (except Alex)

@@mengyuanchen3948 Oh gosh I know right. So despicable writing him out the way they did. Doesn't make sense, the Alex who had so much character development would have never done that. Surely they could have come up with something better. But I guess it's to be expected, GA isn't what it was before.

I think she hit the jackpot when she left Grey’s. The show’s getting worse every season and she accomplished so many goals in the meantime and shining on her own. She is a huge part of the GA I used to love, but I’m actually glad she moved on

That was me until quarantine but I stopped after season 5. The first three seasons are gold. It goes a little downhill from there on unfortunately.

I think it was pretty clear she’s never gonna come back when she wasn’t even there for Derek’s funeral/the time after. What would be the point now? Christina’s story has been told and now she’s killing it as Eve. I miss her too, but the writer’s actually managed to let her leaving happen organically.

Well coming back 21 episodes after her departure just for an emotional scene would clearly send mixed messages.
She hasn't come back at all and 5 years later she's still asked about it can you imagine what would happen if she made an appearance?
The finale is the finale and if asked most of the cast would probably gather for a last episode but that's a tribute to their years of work and it makes sense.

Her departure was actually the best and made me cry. It was perfect, just like FRIENDS ending, open to a lot of possibilities and gave Yang justice. Derek on the other hand was just a pathetic departure. And not well executed

Give this woman a break! In every interview she is asking about coming back and she always said NO! And she says that for 5 years. She said one that she will back on final episode. And she probably will. Because she (and Kate Walsh )is only who is good with Shonda and still have some story in Grey's.

I just now finished season 10 where she leaves. It broke my heart. Everyone I know always recommend I watch Grey’s Anatomy and I refused to for years because I thought it was overrated. Back in March I ran out of things to watch and decided to try it and I’ve been hooked ever since. Best show ever

She was a Christina Yang for the fans for such a long time and i love to see her doing different stuff. I honestly don't want Christina to come back to GA. It's in a different space now. At first I was like bring her back for Owen but she treated him like shit so she don't deserve him. As far as Meredith is concerned working together isn't gonna work either. Them being friends from afar is fine the way it is. Also Sandra stars in Killing Eve why would she come back to Grey's where she was a supporting actress
