Man when I was 16 years old and my first car which was a 71 Ford Torino I would cruise around and listen to this 8-track over and over again Molly Hatchet one of the Great Southern rock bands ever rip djb
Almost a half of million people has witnessed DJB confessing jesus as his lord and saviour.. He's possibly led more people to christ with this than alot of preachers! God is great!
His body may have failed him but his voice and spirit never did. RIP sir.
Brown's voice made this song what it is and no one else can ever do it again, it went to the grave with him. Rip.
Poor guy has one foot in the grave and could still outdo anything out there today! RIP Danny
AMEN TO THAT BROTHER! 👊🎼
You could still see he was struggling a bit here, but dam did he ever nail it.
They'll never be another Danny Joe Brown!!!!
Saw Danny with Molly Hatchet at a small show in the early 80's and got to shake his hand and talk for a minute after. Very cool guy and the show kicked-ass.
There will never be another Danny Joe or another Molly Hatchet or another song as ass kicking as this! Hell yeah!
Danny Joe Brown is Molly Hatchet.
Just want to thank the one that posted this video, you made my day worth living!!!!

i think he died in 05 along with duanne roland.
the amount of love he had for the fans and the love shown to him that night by the fans and the band had tears in my eyes r.i.p djb
My wife passed away Dec. 17, 2020. Anne and Danny Joe can jam together!
Fly high in heaven DJB!! 😎🤟
Oh yeah, just happened upon this concert video and it's so heartwarming to see the love of the band and fans for Danny Joe Brown and his love of them back of to the Lord! Can't stop smiling.
He was such a gentleman. A real southern gentleman. I met him several times and not once did he swear or saying anything disrespect being around a woman. Not that I cared as far as I go but the amount of respect he has for his fans and they did for him amazes me to this day.
Long live molly hatchet
R.I.P. DJB.
I love his voice and no other voice could sing it like that! God bless!
a band mentioning Jesus Christ. how refreshing. to see.
God had a great leader singer he can use!
Amen!
Wow. You can FEEL the love his band had for him!
He's missed by us fans he's the best
His last performance
7/18/1999=9666999
Didn't realize that actually. I got to see them in 82 I believe it was in Hampton Virginia, first concert and didn't realize I was listening to the greatest southern voice then. Nobody else can ever cover his voice.
We lost Danny on 03/10/05 and rock hasn’t been the same since!
"And you ought to too baby" great video. Thanks!!
Thank you for bringing it back
This is awesome
Really? Only 204 likes? Too bad, Hatchet is easily in my top 5. When I listen to Molly Hatchet, my neighbors do too!
Jesus is the only way out of the insanity. Up is down, left is right, wrong is right. Not sure how much clearer it could be. Danny called his Savior by NAME. We're all next.
