Technology can’t replace craftsmanship. Absolutely correct! The problem is most people out there these days have no respect for craftsmanship or skill because they rely on technology. The real ones know the truth. Keep doing what your doing.

If I were you, Vin, I would have deleted the comment and left it at that. This is one vintage tool you dont want!
Unfortunately, society is full of these vintage tools who've had their brain removed and their mouth widened.
You've shown us two different sides to wood working, hand tools, and electric tools. Some like either one, or the other. Some like both. Both require practical apptitude and the will to succeed.
We all know that if you drive at 30mph, in a 30mph zone, youll get some tool behind you, eyes popping out, looking like you're towing him in your rear view mirror.
My friend, with great respect, this is 2024. There are some good people around now. However, there's a much higher percentage of rude people who seem to be in a race as to who they can upset and fall out with.
There's many people who like your content and like what you do. I would stick with them and put your energy into them instead of the loser/boneheads that have nothing worthwhile to say and spoil everything that you do.
Carry on, my friend, theres too many people like what you do!

Fella every thing you said in the last film was correct i'm 52 got back into shooting over lock down and have since gone down the rabbit hole of buying guns from my late teen's and early twenty's i have p.c.p's & springer's my favoured rifle to check my shooting skill or lack of is my webley mk3 fitted with a parkerhale ph16m peep sight at 31 meter's believe me that keep's you honest. Don't get me wrong i shoot my p.c.p's more often but your correct in what you say there is more skill involved to shooting a springer.

    • @vincentenglish8489
      @vincentenglish8489  8 месяцев назад +2

That Webley sounds awesome buddy, when I was a teen my friend inherited his granddad's MK3. It didn't have a peep sight just normal irons, beautiful gun and one I learnt a very valuable lesson about. Never shoot at puddles and never stand in front of a puddle that someone's shooting at. Still have the scar on my thigh 40 years later...😬 Thanks for the comment my friend

LOCK-DOWN 😊 Hmmm, exactly the same here BSA and Webley are now very well represented at my home. The new PCPs I bought are out of this world but tools, like CNC, repeatable results every time. Things change I guess ? try buying a .177 from the 70`s, 80`s early 90`s you just hardly ever see them .22 was the preferred taste. BTW you know those Theobens we couldnt afford back then ? they really are as good as they said. 😄😁 Apparently they all look the same to the wife, thank god.

As I've always said - keep it up the way it is and do it with your passion. Your opinions and sentiments about springer fully align with mine. I only shoot targets these days and the enjoyment and satisfaction from a springer well shot can't be beaten, in my opinion. As for that idiot's comments, Ignore totally - he's obviously got problems! Have a great weekend.

    Hello Vin,
Six months ago at the age of 67 I bought my first ever gun and it’s great. It’s a quality springer and it’s the only rifle I will ever want or need. I looked long and hard at many guns before deciding what to get. I also looked into PCP’s and decided they would be too easy to shoot and boring. I truly believe I made the right decision. I have to say though, I only do target shooting.
    Cheers,

Vin, my suggestion regarding any negative comments/ trolls you may encounter is, don't block them, just ignore that nonsense and focus on the positive stuff, creative channel content, constructive feedback etc.
I share your appreciation for vintage tools and have some nice old Record vices, a Stanley plane, Marples chisels, Moore & Wright dividers and my grandfathers Swedish axe, although nothing close to your enviable collection. I've got an antique (or thereabouts) 'Millita' .25 smoothbore airgun which is a vintage tool of sorts. Cheers!

There’s plenty of content out there for pcps and I agree they don’t teach you anything about good shooting technique. It’s good to see some great content on springers. Do you ever tune your guns? Hey up Vin, came across your channel and I have been working through your video's and there great, don't worry about the haters as they can't help themselves. I was lucky as a kid as my father was a military marksman, who showed me the whats what and my first springer was a Relum Tornado in .22 purchased through a catalogue at the tale end of the 60's and as much as I like PCP's I find them soulless, like a tennis racket with no strings. Big thumbs up.

Great video Vin 👍i love mine in .22 it's pellet on pellet out to 40 yards though as you mention the mags aren't the best. I've had a lot of PCP's
over the years and in my humble opinion it's the best value rifle £ for £ I've owed. As you also mentioned it isn't as refined as my HW100 but it's a 3rd of the price and in no way shape or form is the HW 3 times better. keep up the good work 👏

This sport needs more people producing content and encouraging people of all ages to get involved and feel welcome - that means content that's accessable to all different people and levels of skill - the snobbery and negativity has no place in the sport or development of both young and old shooters. Thankfully I've found my club is incredibly welcoming but not so much online particularly RUclips - don't feel discouraged by spiteful small minded comments. I'm grateful of the people that spend their time putting out content particularly at the lower budget end as that where most of us start. Get on with enjoying what you do mate - it's never going to be everyone's cup of tea but there's no need to be poxy to people for the sake of giving it the big one on the comments section lol. Just delete and block mate. I think the vast majority appreciate what you do and find it useful.

I have just ordered a Kral NP-02 from my local gun shop 🙂.
I'm just getting into air gunning and so far have a Crosman Trailhawk Magfire break barrel and a Weihrauch HW77K underlever.
They are all the .22 versions.
I joined my local rifle range and was amazed at the accuracy that members with recoilless PCP rifles were achieving.
I believe that the 3 rifles I've chosen provide a wide range of contrasts and shooting experiences.
I will be looking for a moderator/suppressor for the NP-02 and have seen online that the Weihrauch moderators are good quality and functional.
What moderator do you have in this clip on your NP-02?
Appreciate your views and thanks for posting.

Hey up Vin so subscribed to your channel when you first started and have throughly enjoyed and learned from your excellent videos however l dont normally comment just hit the like button. As you are probably now aware you have a lot of people who are now piling in to show their support and standing with you because of a certain comment so rise above it and keep doing the videos Right enough said on that move on as they say l had to laugh when you compred handling the Kral to the SA 80 well at least you you can fire the Kral left handed say no more.
My thoughts on springers and pcp rifles ( sub12) they both have there pros and cons so no need to bang on about that the right tool for the job is whats needed. I use pcp rifles for pest control why accurate up to 50 metres (100% head shot every time) and extremely quiet. On a still night in the wee small hours even the thump of a springer travels that is a hard learned fact. I use springers to keep my eye in as they say by target shooting and giving rats and squirrels a headache. When l get time l love shooting a springer with iron sights at 25 metres now that certianly keeps me focused and as somebody once said to me its not the gun that counts its the gunner thats behind it how right he was. So Vin l have gone on enough keep doing what your doing mate

Whatever you do or whatever your opinion you are always gonna get haters vin just ignore them ....I have around 25+ years of shooting air guns, springer, ram, co2, and PCP and all I'm going to say is, if you know, you know and I respect your experience and opinion and the way you are taking the time and putting the effort in to pass on the hard earned info and experience you have ....don't rise to troll comments cos there's always going to be a few

Keep doing you Vin. Funny you mentioned FX. It seems like all the “cool” kids on youtube got them. Lots of my PCP friends own them. And just like you, most had or have leaks 😆
I prefer springers also (my HW97, has never leaked or had to deal with faulty regulators 😬)
That little kral at a quick glance reminds me of the AA s510 TDR. Is it a “take down” like the TDR?

The only weapon that bellend has shot, is probably a Nerf gun. Springers all the way, takes skill.

Hello buddy, thanks for your comment as always. Seeing your profile pic reminds me just how much that Kral feels like an SA80, by that I mean length of pull and weight, ergonomics and handling characteristics are just about identical. 👍👍👍

Pcp's are the power tools of the airgun world, designed to make things more efficient and easier, I use them over springers for that reason due to mobility issues doesn't mean that I don't agree with what you're saying or really enjoying your content, I'd never miss an episode and most of those who contribute have something useful to add ...it's unfortunate that you've fell foul of the modern world where people react too quickly without thinking anything through

Should have named and shamed the commenter. Very rude commenting on your tools. Take a zero tolerance to negativity and block them.... 👍🏽
