ive seen some channels on youtube that treat their otters very well, with their own pool and roam of the house. at least 2 of them live together and they frequently go on trips to see their relatives and friends nearby. I think those otters are pretty happy , now i have seen a few where its just one otter and your right that isnt good for them. they need constant interaction, stimulation
This and the capybara video are excellent and I would love to see more like them! I really appreciate the educational content that is included in Planet Zoo - it's there for those that want to include it in their zoos, but not necessary for people that don't. Growing up with the older Zoo Tycoon games and PBS animal shows really gave me the appreciation I have for wildlife today. I understand the PC gaming market is very different from when the earlier Zoo Tycoon games released, but it would be great if Frontier Developments created a Planet Zoo game/port that worked on less powerful computers, mobile devices, or game consoles. A slightly less complicated/less graphically impressive Planet Zoo-type game available to a younger audience could be a really positive thing.

The cheek teeth are broad, for crushing hard-cased foods such as mussels and other shellfish, crabs, and frogs; unusually for otters, fish are relatively unimportant in the diet. The upper parts are brown; the underside is paler, with variable white areas on the lower face, throat, and chest. These otters form loose social groups of about 12 members keeping in touch with noises and scents. Male-female pair bonds are especially strong. As in many similar species, territories are marked with scent from paired glands at the base of the tail, urine, and droppings. Litter size varies from 1 to 6, average 2; both parents care for the young.
