- Masks are a necessary thing in the workshop and I'm as guilty as anyone for forgetting to wear one. Base Camp sent me these masks and I'm thankful to say that having them in the workshop means I do actually wear them a lot more than I used to.

I’ve had these for a couple of months now Dean. I use the foam strip to as I wear glasses. They are brilliant. My Trend stealth is redundant now. So everyone get on to the Basecamp now.

I've been using the smaller one for about 6 months and swear by it. It's one of the most comfortable masks I've had over my 50 years of making sawdust. And I have learned that if it's not comfortable you won't wear it as much as you should.
Again, good stuff, Dean. Thanks for this important subject. I tend to leave my mask on the shelf and then complain about wheezing for a few days after sanding and finishing. Perhaps, I'll give these a shot.👍

When that nasty bug was going around and masks became fashionable, I found some made for men with hairy chins... Useless, and just looked like I was wearing a bib. These look great.

I've tried so many different masks and always ended up frustrated. These look a fair bit better though, especially the green thingies. Steamed specs are a right pain in the rear end!

So these are the style of masks that were around during the Covid outbreak, I had a similar one then, just would hope these wouldn't start falling apart as much

Mask me up baby. I have been using a covid mask but it isn't much good so one of those masks would be really handy for me. :)
Like you Dean I have a beard and glasses the mask is great from that company but I still prefer my trend full faced airflow mask as I find it much better for my COPD and yes mask wearing is very important great vid very informative again us bearded gents always have mask wearing problems.
I tried all sorts of masks but I felt I was eating the dust but the trend stopped all that not cheap they take a bit of getting used to but much more better for me
