Hey Riggs! The Invalid file size thing is so that the programmer doesn't hiccup during the write, as it's expecting a write size evenly divisible by 1024. This will be given an auto adjustment later in software, but for now if you use a hex editor and pad the file to the nearest number that's evenly divisible by 1024 it'll work. For example, a trimmed ROM file of 4000 Kbytes won't work, but 4096 Kbytes will. Just FYI!

Where can you find blank carts (not just cases)? Also, will this write over standard old carts of GB, NES, N64, etc?
I REALLY hope that they create boards that have the real time clock chips and batteries for the GBA Pokemon games.
Not that I'll make reproductions, but I have boards that have the solder pads and traces broken off and these will be good to at least save them.

There's a way to pad out the file to be a multiple of 1024. I don't recall how it's done but there's probably a video on it.
Will this work with gba video? There is a website where you can convert video files to gba video format and I'm wondering if there's a way to get the videos on physical carts just for fun.
Nintendo did bring out videos like Shrek and Spongebob on cartridges to watch on the Gameboy. Like 2 episodes on a cartridge. Search it up!

Or one can do as a friend of mine did and load the entire GB library onto an EZ-Flash - including the roms that won't work for this. Of course he owns the original games and would never just download the roms freely.

Can you blast over existing games rather than having to buy blank carts?
Example, if I have a trash game I don't want, can I blast a game I do want over it and delete the old one or is that not possible?
Not if it is a Nintendo cartridge. I believe they have some way to stop modification of the cart.
For games that hold save files can you just override the old cart or should we remove the battery? I have a language patch that I have for Red and an English copy of red that own and want to make sure I̓m not going to fry the cart somehow

use goombafront pc app and make a gba rom full of gb/gbc games you can put as many rom on it as you like provided you have enough space on the cart
Can you make a gba repro using a gbc cart? I like the asthetic of the game cart sticking out of the console.

They should be available soon. Since most just use emulators or everdrives or bootleg the same stuff from AliExpress they may not be as popular. I think they're pretty neat, though.
I would love to be able to do this and just play the games that I want. I see on your computer that you have the game files on there. Where could I go to get the game files to download onto the cartridge so that I can play whatever game?? Thanks in advance
The only legal way is to buy the game, dump the Rom onto your pc and then install it onto the cartridge
Then there are ILLEGAL variants (also likely the most used ones^^) but for these you’ve gotta Google on your own cause of RUclips’s comment restrictions regarding sharing of illegal activities.
But the important keyword for your Google search is „ROM“
Seems like an N64 to GB adapter would be more logical for that blaster.

if I dump my original pokemon game to the new cartidge, the save file will result original so that i can transfer my pokemon in pokemon bank or not? Because I want to preserve my original game, especially the sticker
You can already do this with a GBxCart and flash cart /Chinese bootleg from inside gadgets

gb, gbc and gba blasters are actually out of stock on the site, do you know when they might be available again?
For anyone looking at this now, there are utilities for fixing rom length to make hacks flashable. Also, there are flash kits, like the Flash Boy, that can write to cheaper flash carts. All this is a consideration if you're developing your own games for physical production.
I have been editing Pokemon emerald for a while now ,tried to write my rom with my retro blaster it says it was successful but when I turn on screen stays blank no game after ,is this because of my game length or am I doing it wrong somehow please help

@@wp_twentytwo I haven't yet because I need to get a better laptop but I do know two things you can use to make a Gameboy game like gb studio for a simple no code Gameboy engine and asprite for making the sprites and tyle maps and if you do let me know I love to see what you come up with
@@wardogdauwdd3020 we shall see, I am thinking about homebrewing a pokemon game using rpgmaker but im not sure if you can export files from there into roms that can be ran on a physical gba which would be the goal... very early in my research on it so we shall see if this goes anywhere

Con rad I don’t have this yet, but I do have an ever drive. Due to how the everdrive being an FPGA device that uses an SD card, it will not work with the transfer pak. I’m hoping this flashcart works with Pokémon stadium.

Where's the boot vector? if it's not at the top you can just use an app like HxD and pad the file with 0xFF's.
If anybody has any clue on how to put NES games onto a GBA cartridge using a similar method please point me in the right direction! It’s my dream to be able to play Mike Tyson‘s Punch out on my Game Boy Micro. I have a multicart for GBA that’s loaded with NES games but that’s not one of them, and I can’t find any that contain that game :-/

I don't know if you know this, but a bootleg game is still an illegal game. You can't sell it, otherwise it's a crime because it's fake. People are selling these online making a mess, this'll be the new scam. 💯
It’s not a crime, as Nintendo isn’t profiting off of the Game Boy or its games anymore (they’ve all become something called “Abandonware”). If you sell it, just make it clear that it’s a reproduction.
@@machobrizzin2337 what's your source of information? Mine is the copyright label on the games, doesn't matter if they're profiting or not. It's still their intellectual property, there's already been a court case over this and nintendo won.
